* If you have any questions then, message me.
***
**A MESSAGE FOR NEWCOMERS:**
*In the three years of hosting this coffee group, I have met many people who struggle with anxieties when coming to an event for the first time. Sometimes, it took them more than one attempt before being able to join.*
*Occasionally, people reach out to me before the event, and I have always been grateful for that as it offers the opportunity to communicate with each other and to find the best and most gentle way for that person to join the group.*
*I would like to encourage everyone who struggles with this to contact me before. It would really be too bad if you can't join us, as it mostly gets better the second or third time you come.*
*In addition to that, if you arrive and notice any signs of nervousness or fear, you can always let me know right then.*
**THANK YOU AND SEE YOU ALL ON Saturday!**

🌳 Heatwave Escape: Cool Forest Walk & Hidden Ponds
**🌡️ Heatwave Special:** We've deliberately scheduled this walk for **16:30**, after the hottest part of the day, and chosen a shorter, mostly shaded route through the Sonian Forest to make it as comfortable as possible while still enjoying nature together.
**This event is free for Sunday Vacations members. Membership starts at €5/year.**

*Please RSVP only if you are reasonably sure you can attend and update your RSVP if your plans change.*
**🌍 Sunday Vacations Community Event**
## Escape the city. Find some shade. Meet great people.
With temperatures soaring this week, let's swap hot streets for cool forest paths.
Join Sunday Vacations for a refreshing late-afternoon walk through one of Brussels' most beautiful natural areas. We'll explore the peaceful Vuylbeek Valley, where dense beech trees, quiet ponds and shaded trails create one of the city's most refreshing places to spend a summer evening.
Starting later in the day allows us to avoid the hottest hours while enjoying the forest at its most peaceful.
This is an easy, relaxed walk designed for conversation, fresh air and good company—not for speed or endurance.
Whether you're new to Brussels, an expat looking to meet people, or simply craving a nature break after work, everyone is welcome.
Because the best way to end a hot day is under the trees.
# 🌳 The Experience
We'll follow a short and scenic route through the heart of the Sonian Forest, passing peaceful ponds, woodland trails and small streams.
Thanks to its dense tree canopy and extensive greenery, the Sonian Forest is one of Brussels' natural cooling areas, often feeling noticeably fresher than the city centre on warm days.
We'll walk at a relaxed pace with plenty of opportunities to chat, take photos and simply enjoy being outdoors.
Afterwards, anyone who wishes can join for a drink or a bite nearby.

🕶️ Protect yourself from the sun with sunscreen
👕 Wear lightweight, breathable clothing
🥾 Wear comfortable walking shoes with good grip

Refresh walk 10-15km 💦☀️Beersel - Calevoet (possible exit at St Job station)
Saturday will be extremely hot, let’s exit our home sauna for a refreshing walk aimed at maximising shade and water point close to Brussels.
We will meet in front of Starbucks at Brussels central before noon and take the train to Beersel at 12:12 with a connection in Hal, arriving in Beersel at 12:48 where we start hiking during about an hour before lunch in a shaded place along a forest stream.
After lunch we stroll through Parc de la Sauvagere and Kauwberg back to Calevoet station with possible exit at Uccle St Job station.
From Calevoet station l suggest a trip back to central with a last 10 minutes stroll through Royal Parc up to glacier Bargello or Caberdouche terrace for an ice cream or drink to hopefully celebrate the Red Devils qualification🥂
And for those in vibe there is afterwards a free evening party at Terrace O2 on Meetup.
!!! As usual rule in respect of participants and organisers, please only register if you are committed to really attend.
Bring 2 liters of water, sun cream, cap, glasses and lunch…

🎲 Juegos:

Marketing Monday Networking
Monthly working lunch for Columbus business owners. One specific topic, one to three actions you can run this week.
You can be the best at what you do and still be invisible. If local buyers cannot find you, the phone does not ring.
Marketing Monday Lunch + Learn is a monthly working lunch for Columbus business owners focused on building relationships, local networking, and local marketing. Every kind of local business welcome. No pitch round, no pressure, no upsell.
**This month**
Most local businesses pick one or two places to be visible and call it good. The result is inconsistent calls and a feeling that marketing is not working. We will walk through the three places every local business needs to show up, plus the fourth place most owners ignore that quietly produces the warmest leads.
**What to expect**
Doors open at noon. Order lunch and drinks at the cafe counter or bring your own. You get real conversation with other local owners and a focused marketing lesson. You leave knowing people and with one to three actions to run that week. The room is reserved through 1:30 PM.
**Who this is for**
Any local business owner who wants clearer marketing direction and real local relationships. Service businesses, retail, home services, professional services, online owners building local presence, anyone serious about being part of the Columbus business community.
**Not the right fit if**
You are here to pitch the room or recruit for an MLM.
**Details**
* Second Monday of every month
* 12:00 to 1:30 PM
* Good Cafe Easton, 4400 Easton Commons, Ste 150, Columbus, OH 43219
