\*\*\*please register your session to attend\*\*\*
Hi 👋🏼 Yogis
I am yoga instructor Sophia. As a new yoga teacher, I’m excited to share the practice of stretching and Hatha Yoga with others, guiding you through mindful breath and purposeful movement. We’ll explore foundational poses, gentle alignment, and slow, steady stretches that honor your body's limits while inviting greater flexibility and balance. My intention is to create a supportive space where we practice together, learn from each other, and cultivate calm, focus, and presence both on and off the mat. Whether you’re new to yoga or returning after a pause, we’ll move at a comfortable pace, listen to our bodies, and celebrate small progress as we grow.
FitFam is a welcoming community for fitness enthusiasts, including yoga lovers, to connect and make new friends, regardless of background or language.😇😁
The event is free. All you need to do is
* Bring your own yoga mat
* small towel to assist with stretching
* wear comfortable outfit
🩷 We’ll meet at the wood deck by the waterfront of Tamar Park. Please look for the one right after passing the big lawn of Tamar Building. Arrive a few minutes early, so we can greet each other and settle in before we start moving and breathing together. If you can’t find the location, feel free to text me or leave messages in the FitFam group
🩷 **Please pay attention to the weather, the FitFam WhatsApp group, and the event page.**
In case of bad weather, the location may change to Central Pier 9 or 10. I will announce any changes one hour before the event.
🩷 If you cannot attend the event, please cancel your reservation.

**Happy Holidays Weekend Hikers!** 🎄
We've got one last hike for you on the weekend before the year ends to finish 2025 strong!
This is not just a walk; it’s an adventure. We are taking on one of Hong Kong’s most dramatic ridge lines, the Middle Dog’s Teeth (Middle Kau Nga Ling).
**\*\*Expect breathtaking open vistas, thrilling scrambles, and the satisfaction of standing on Hong Kong's second-highest summit before descending for a celebratory meal at Tung Chung. 🎉🍜🍱**
**📊 Hike Stats & Rating**

\* Total Distance: \~8.5 km
\* Elevation Gain: \~850m+ (Significant climbing)
\* Hiking Duration: \~4.5 hours of moving time.
\* Total Event Duration: \~6 to 6.5 hours (Factoring in rest, water breaks, photo stops, and the steep scrambling pace).

🛡️ **Safety & Gear Guidelines**
This is an advanced trail. To keep the vibes positive, we must prioritize safety.
**🥾 Essential Gear:**
**\*\*Footwear: Strictly Hiking Boots/Shoes with good grip. Running shoes are slippery on the gravel/sand of the Dog’s Teeth.**

**Sun Protection: Hat and sunscreen (The ridge is 100% exposed with zero shade).**
**⚠️ Safety Rules:**
**\*\*No Solo Wandering: We stick together, especially on the ridge.**
**\*Pass with Care: If someone is faster, let them pass at a safe, flat spot.**
