We are a group of runners who meet most weeks for a run around the beautiful Vltava River's edge. You can bring your running shoes straight from the office/home office if you don't have time to stop at home. There will be a place to put your bags in the Cafe. We will run about 9 km along the river and have a drink afterwards. Paces vary! We will meet in the square near Kavarna Liberal (Hermanova 6), near the Vltavska metro/tram stop at 6:30 on Wednesday. This time we are going to experience the world-famous spa town of Karlovy Vary, a spa town situated in western Bohemia. We will admire the grand 19th-century spa architecture, stroll along the impressive colonnades, and sip the presumably health-restoring sulphurous waters from 12 different springs in spouted ceramic drinking cups. One of the most famous attractions is the hot spring that spews out hot thermal waters to a height of 12 meters. Spring Reset for Women is an evening dedicated to transition and renewal. As the season shifts, this gathering offers space to pause, breathe, and reconnect with yourself. From there, participants are guided into a breathwork journey supported by music and imagery. Uvidíme modernu, Central Park, neobjevená místa i Vyšehrad. Na konci nás čeká příjemná kavárna s francouzským šarmem. Sejdeme se venku nalevo od vstupu do Arkád (z metra C Pankrác) před kavárnou Starbucks. Část trasy je trošku off-road, tak lepší budou turistické botky. Prosím, přijďte včas. The walk is 5km so it will take us a bit over an hour. We will see the modern buildings, Central Park (yes!), hidden places as well as Vyšehrad. Set it to fabulous, high energy, live music with fiddles, guitars, percussion and more, alá “Riverdance.” Finally, set the whole scene down in the middle of Woodstock, with a hip, groovy atmosphere, a bit of tie-dye, and hints of counter-culture attitude. THAT’s Contra Dancing! Wear cool and comfortable clothes (you will get warm) and clean shoes that won't mark up our nice wood floor.
