UX Monday: Jak AI mění research i design proces
**Je design proces mrtvý, nebo není?**
AI umí postavit skoro cokoliv. O to víc záleží na tom, co jí zadáme. Discovery a výzkum dnes rozhodují víc než kdy dřív.
Výzkum už nedělá jen výzkumník. Prototypy nevznikají ve Figmě, ale v kódu. Designéři commitují a shipují.
🎤 **[Anna Kutíková](https://www.linkedin.com/in/anna-kutikova/)** & **[Jiří Groh](https://www.linkedin.com/in/grohjiri/)** – o tom, jak v Oh-So přepnuli mindset celé agentury, umožnili designérům commitovat, shipovat a využívat AI engineering. Co to udělalo s rolemi, handoffem a hlavně se spoluprací s vývojem.
Hosted by **[Michal Strnadel](https://www.linkedin.com/in/michal-strnadel/)**.

Czech Co-Learning Session 🇨🇿
Learning Czech can be hard and demotivating, especially when studying alone.
**This meetup is a shared study session where we come together to stay focused, motivated, and make progress — each in our own way.**
This is a co-learning / co-studying session, not a class. There is no teacher, no lesson, and no study material provided.
Everyone comes with their own resources and studies independently, in a shared environment.
🧠 **How it works**
• We all bring our own material:
• textbooks
• homework from a Czech course
• Duolingo or other apps
• reading practice
• vocabulary review, etc.
• We mainly work individually
• We are free to:
• ask questions
• help each other
• share tips and resources
• No teacher, no formal structure, no pressure
👥 **Who is it for?**
• Czech learners of all levels
• Non-Czech speakers (expats, internationals)
• Czech native speakers are welcome if they want to help, but this is not a language exchange
⏱ **Practical info**
• Location: Cafedu
12, Škrétova 490, 120 00 Praha 2
(Metro A and C, Muzeum station)
• Duration: 2 hours, or less or more, as you want
• Day & time: Monday, 18:00
• Group size: small group for now
• Free event — please support the café by ordering a drink ☕
If you’re learning Czech and lack motivation when studying alone, come join us — let’s find it together 🙂

Join us for a 2.5-hour walk in the Old Town of Prague!
Who can attend this meetup:
The tour is an introduction to Prague and is mainly for expats and visitors to our city but everybody who would like to join is invited. ***Important***, please also fill in the booking form on our [website](https://freewalkingtourprague.eu/en/schedule) if you are planning to come (otherwise we will not expect you).
Description:
Meet us by the Powder Tower, the historical gate to the Old Town and starting point of the Royal Route.
Then have an educative walk through the narrow and picturesque streets of the historical center of Prague. Enjoy the unique diversity of architectural styles from Gothic to Art Nouveau. See some of the most interesting sites and get to know fascinating facts and legends of the 1000-year old capital of Bohemia.
End the tour at the riverside 5 minutes away from the Charles Bridge, from which you can continue the tour on your own (or again with us) towards Malá Strana or Prague Castle.
======
Meeting point: We will be standing by the Powder Tower at the side of the Namestí Republiky square with a green umbrella in hand :)
Map: https://goo.gl/maps/tzqKpZ2945S2
Price: there is no fixed price, you will be able to decide yourself how much you value the tour. If you don't know how much is best (and can afford it) we recommend 200Kč, but it really depends on you how much you contribute.
Join us also on our [Facebook profile](https://www.facebook.com/freewalkingtoursprague/) :) and if you are travelling to other cities check out our friends at the [Free Tour Community website](https://freetourcommunity.com/).
For any questions, please contact us at info@freewalkingtourprague.eu. Unfortunately, the meetup application does not always send us phone notifications.
Reminder - only people who booked on our [official free walking tour website](https://freewalkingtourprague.eu/en/schedule) can join the tour and if the tour shows fully booked on the website it means there are no free spots. The meetup list doesn't count in this case.
We look forward to meeting you,
Michal, Amanda, Lana, Iva & Chris

Philosophical seminar: How to live - according to thinkers and religions
This open seminar by Albert Hoffmann explores how different people and traditions have approached the question, “How should we live?”
We will look at ideas from philosophers, thinkers, and religious traditions and explore different answers from various cultures and time periods.
The seminar is intended as an invitation to reflection rather than a definitive answer.
About Albert Hoffmann: https://sophonautik.ch/english/
It will take place in the “17. listopadu” dormitory next to the Faculty of Humanities. The dormitory has two buildings, and the seminar will take place in the northern one. Let me know when you are next to it, and I’ll pick you up. If you’re anywhere else and have trouble finding it, just let me know.
Dialogues #36 - Topic: Connecting with our Humanity
In a world full of opinions, noise, and quick reactions, we often miss spaces for real dialogue — for slowing down, listening, and connecting with one another. This evening is an invitation to do exactly that.
Join us for an open and friendly evening (in English & free of charge) dedicated to Connecting with our Humanity.
We will brainstorm together in an Open Space–style format, where participants choose topics themselves about what we want to discuss from this broad topic - questions to help you get inspired:
What does it mean to be human?
What role does technology play in being human?
How does society today shape our nature?
How do we stay connected with our humanity?
What's the impact of modern living?
Afterwards, participants will form small groups to explore the questions and insights around the topics
18:00 – Doors open
18:15 – Introduction & topic selection
18:40 - We start discussions
19:40 - Closing session (sharing activities)
20:00 - Networking & Connect
What to expect:
A welcoming space for newcomers and regulars alike
Be slightly pushed to socialize
Open, participant-led small-group discussions on diverse perspectives
No expertise required — everyone’s opinion matters!
Safe, respectful, and judgment-free conversations
More about sharing and reflecting than debating or convincing
No pressure to speak — listening is just as valuable
Not a lecture, not a debate club, and definitely not intimidating!
Feel free to bring some snacks to share!
Friendly dogs are welcome!
If you are a regular that appreciate us and can help, or a newcomer who enjoyed the evening, and wants to help, we have recently set a Patreon page where you can support us!

Filozofická kavárna (Café Philo): přemýšlet a diskutovat
Filozofování o životě a o všem ostatním pro všechny, bez vstupného a bez přihlášky:
Coffee and Conversation (Karlin / křížikova metro)
• What we'll do
This meet up is for those who are learning English as a second language and want a chance to practice. We will provide a fun and interesting activity to encourage simple English conversation. It may be a game, an interesting topic, or whatever. We promise to keep the evening relaxed and give you a chance to practice your English.
• What to bring
Just you.
• Important to know
We are hosted by Do Slova Praha. As a church, we want to help our community in practical ways. We may hand out information to other events that our church does, but do not worry... this is not a religious event. Just come to practice English :)

Bi-Weekly Co-Working in Prague – Get It Done Together (3–6PM)
**You start, but don't finish. We help you get it done.**
Join our [WhatsApp group](https://chat.whatsapp.com/K6LidaoQhe16wZ0Se9pNM6), Keep contact via [Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/nocrastinationclub/)
You just haven’t been able to follow through. You start things, lose momentum and find yourself starting over again. You’re not alone.
Most people get support at the beginning. And applause at the end. But the part that actually matters? The middle. The quiet, repetitive, sometimes frustrating part where nothing feels exciting, and everything depends on showing up. **That’s where we are.**
At NoCrastination, we don’t meet for hype. We meet to **show up and finish something, together.** Not perfectly. Not magically. Just consistently.
**What this really is**
This is a space for people who are:
* building something
* figuring things out
* or simply trying to stay on track
**without doing it alone**
You don’t need to be an entrepreneur. You just need something you want to move forward.
**What happens here**
You bring something you’ve been putting off. We sit down together. We focus. And you leave with something done. That’s it. And that’s everything.
**Why people keep coming back**
* “I finally follow through on what I plan”
* “I leave with real progress every time”
🕐 **Time**: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
📍 **Location**: **Safe Space Bookstore,** U božích bojovníků 606/3, Prague 3 Žižkov · Prague, cz
💻 **Bring**: Your laptop, journal, creative tools, or anything you’ve been procrastinating on
🌿 **Hosted by**: NoCrastination.
☕ Please do order something from the bar, so as to keep us in their good graces!
Donations optional.
**🪑Seating information:**
* If this is your first time joining us, please look for **Fernando Goncalves** when you arrive
* If you’d like to **work independently (without the Pomodoro arrangement)** but still be part of the group energy, just let Fernando know — we’ll make sure you’re comfortably included. 💛
🌱 **What to Expect**
* **Drop in anytime** between **3:00–6:00 PM** — stay for a bit or settle in for the whole session
* **Clarify your goals**: write down your measurable tasks for the day on a Post-it when you arrive
* **Two spaces**: one for quiet focus, one for casual conversation. After each focus session, if you’re still in the flow, feel free to remain seated — no need to move. If you're up for a chat, join others in the social area for a relaxed break.
* **Social start**: from **3:00 to 3:30 PM**, we mingle and get to know each other; our first focus session begins at **3:30 PM**
* **Gentle structure**: we begin with a soft check-in and intention round
* **Pomodoro-style rhythm**: We work in 45-minute focus blocks followed by 15-minute social breaks. If 45 minutes feels too long, feel free to break it into two 20-minute focus sessions with a short 5-minute reset in between. You’ll need to self-regulate these shorter cycles, just tune into your own flow and rejoin when ready.
* **Quiet companionship**: no pressure to talk during focus time — just shared presence and support
* **Welcoming space**: we meet in the creative, cozy lobby of the **Safe Space Bookstore**
**This space is for you if…**
* You keep starting but don’t finish
* You work alone and feel stuck
* You want structure without pressure
* You don’t want to do this alone anymore
**What you’ll get**
Not motivation. Not a productivity hack.
**You’ll get: ONE THING DONE.**
And then you come back, and do it again.
**This is how it starts**
You don’t need to commit to anything big. Just come once. Pick one thing.
Finish it. We’ll be there.

European Coworking Day @ Locus Workspace: Short Movie + Talk by Swap Prague
Join us @ Locus Workspace during the European Coworking day!
We'll start the afternoon with a screening of the short film '[ACTionism](https://www.actionism.space/want-to-take-an-action-today-host-an-actionism-film-screening/?%5Bref=londoncoworkingassembly.com%5D(ref=londoncoworkingassembly.com))'-the art of finding your people and taking action, together.
Followed by a talk by Kristýna Holubová from [Swap Prague](https://www.swapprague.cz/), who will introduce to us their work.
Since bringing the concept of swaps to the Czech Republic in 2016, Swap Prague has been creating spaces where people exchange items instead of buying new ones, putting the principles of the circular economy into everyday practice. Through events, workshops, and collaborations, they promote more responsible consumption while also strengthening community connections and encouraging lasting lifestyle changes.

Duty vs. Results: What Makes an Action Moral?
When judging morality, should we prioritize **intentions/duty** or **outcomes/results**? It introduces two influential philosophers as representatives of these approaches.
* **Immanuel Kant (deontology):** An action is moral when it is done from **duty** and follows rational, universal principles (the **categorical imperative**). Certain acts—like lying—are wrong regardless of the consequences; you can’t do a wrong thing for a right reason.
* **John Stuart Mill (utilitarian consequentialism):** The morality of an action is determined by its **effects**, specifically how much **happiness/well-being** it produces. Mill argues that some pleasures are “higher” than others, and that good intentions don’t redeem harmful outcomes.
## Discussion Questions
1. **The lying dilemma:** A murderer comes to your door and asks if your friend is hiding inside. Kant would say you must not lie.
2. **Can good intentions rescue a bad outcome?**
3. **The organ harvest problem:** A surgeon has five patients dying of organ failure and one healthy patient in for a checkup. Killing the one to harvest organs would save five lives, and the math works out for the utilitarian. Why does this feel so deeply wrong? Is that feeling a point in Kant's favor, or just a bias we should overcome?
4. **Do rules need exceptions?** Kant insists moral rules must be universal, with no exceptions. But most of us can imagine extreme scenarios where any rule seems like it should bend. Does the need for exceptions fatally undermine deontology, or is the strength of the system precisely that it refuses to bend?
5. **Who gets to calculate the consequences?** Utilitarianism asks us to maximize good outcomes, but we're notoriously bad at predicting consequences. If we can't reliably know the results of our actions, is it practical to base our entire moral system on outcomes? Does this uncertainty push us back toward rules and principles?
6. **Everyday morality:** Think about a real moral decision you've made recently, even a small one. Did you reason more like a Kantian (what's the right thing to do in principle?) or more like a utilitarian (what will produce the best result?)? Do most people naturally lean one way?
7. **Justice vs. the greater good:** A town can prevent a deadly plague by sacrificing one innocent person. The greater good is clearly served. But is it just? Can an action be morally right and deeply unjust at the same time?
8. **The big synthesis question:** Are these two systems actually opposed, or do they often arrive at the same answers by different paths? Is it possible that we need both: rules to guide us in the moment and consequences to evaluate systems and policies over time?
