🌿☀️ SUMMER WALK TO THE EVERGREEN BRICK WORKS & MARKET ☀️🌿
🌿☀️ SUMMER WALK TO THE EVERGREEN BRICK WORKS & MARKET ☀️🌿
Ravine Trails, Outdoor Market & One of Toronto’s Best Skyline Lookout Spots
Summer is the perfect time to explore some of Toronto’s hidden green spaces — and few places feel as unique as Evergreen Brick Works.
Join us for a relaxed social walk from St. Clair down through the ravine trails toward the Brick Works, where nature, history, community, and city views all come together.
Even though you’re still in Toronto, parts of this walk feel surprisingly peaceful — shaded forest paths, creeks, birds, hidden trails, and eventually the old industrial buildings of the Brick Works opening up in the middle of the valley.
And in the summer? The whole place comes alive.
📲 **Join Our WhatsApp Group:**[ Click here to join](https://chat.whatsapp.com/DRFTkxRlHS4B3IL1lMleUd)
\*\*\*
🚶♂️ What We’ll Do:
We’ll begin at St. Clair Station and walk down through the ravine system toward the Brick Works together.
Once there, we’ll:
🌿 Explore the outdoor market
☕ Grab drinks, snacks, or lunch
🛍️ Browse local vendors and shops
😊 Sit, relax, and socialize for a bit
Afterward, we’ll continue the adventure by walking up to one of the nearby lookout spots for beautiful skyline and valley views. 📸🌆
Then we’ll slowly make our way back together.
And if at any point you feel tired or want to head home early, buses run directly from the Brick Works to nearby subway stations — easy and flexible.
\*\*\*

This event happens rain or shine.
Please come prepared for:

🌿 More About the Brick Works
From 1889 to the 1980s, the Don Valley Brick Works was one of Canada’s most important brick manufacturing sites, helping build much of Toronto itself.
Today, the restored site has become one of the city’s most beloved urban nature spaces — combining historic industrial buildings, markets, trails, gardens, and environmental spaces all in one place.
It’s one of those Toronto spots that people always seem surprised they didn’t discover sooner.
\*\*\*

It takes walkers through the system and points out the crucial connectors and branches within the system to effortlessly guide the lost through the maze. Once experienced the PATH will be an invaluable aid to navigating the downtown, in both summer and winter, rain or shine, hurricane or drought. You might even enjoy getting lost in the underground, lost but not forgotten.

Summer & Shade is a hyper-local market held in the heart of Islington Village. We provide a dedicated space for entrepreneurial growth and artistic expression, with a specific focus on supporting low-income creators. Our mission is to foster self-sufficiency and self-reliance by lowering the traditional barriers to entry for local talent.
We specifically advocate for Toronto Community Housing (TCHC) residents, who often face systemic obstacles such as selection biases and prohibitive participation fees. By creating an accessible and inclusive marketplace, Summer & Shade ensures that the vibrant creative energy of our local community has the platform it needs to thrive.

Toronto Build an AI Content Brand
🎭 **AI Influencer System — Viral Content on Autopilot — No followers to start. No camera required.**
*Built for those who want influence without the exposure of being on screen*
**What you walk away with:**
- Monetisation frameworks for faceless content — sponsorships, affiliate, digital products
- AI-powered video, image, and text content for any niche
- A monetisation path from day one — how faceless brands earn
For those who see content creators making money and want the income without the exposure, this workshop shows how AI handles content creation so you do not have to appear. By applying AI tools to creation, posting, and growth, you build a complete faceless AI content brand that creates and posts without your face.
**⚠️ Confirmation needed:** Clicking rsvp does not complete your registration, so use the link below to sign up fully — that is what actually secures your spot — spots fill quickly so do not leave it too long, and the RSVP alone counts for nothing here.

Downtown Toronto French conversation exchange
This is an informal conversation group for anyone wanting to practice / use their French and meet some new people. All levels are welcome, but having a conversational level is strongly recommended (and of course native French speakers are very welcome too!).
