Intermediate Calisthenics Community Session
This is not a traditional guided class. It is a relaxed community training session for people who already have some calisthenics experience and want to train together, practice skills, exchange ideas, and hang out.
Iâll personally be training push that day, but feel free to work on whatever you want.

Watercolour Herbarium: A Sensory Workshop
### **đż Watercolour Herbarium: A Sensory Workshop**
Do you know which herbs boost memory?
Which ones calm your body, support digestion, or help you sleep?
Join us for a unique 4-day watercolour journey where art meets nature, observation, and everyday wisdom.
**In this workshop, we will create our own illustrated herbarium â a personal catalogue of plants â while working directly from real, fresh herbs from my little balcony garden.**
Youâll learn how to observe their shapes, textures, and colours, and translate them into delicate watercolour studies.
But this is more than painting.
Each day, weâll explore a different selection of herbs like oregano, rosemary, mint, basil and more â learning how they grow, what theyâre traditionally used for, and how they can support your body and wellbeing.
**Weâll touch them, smell them, paint them⌠and even taste them in teas and infusions,** engaging all our senses to truly connect with each plant.
⨠What to expect:
* Guided watercolour sessions (all levels welcome)
* Real herbs to observe and paint from life
* Gentle introduction to herbal knowledge & home remedies
* A growing collection of your own illustrated herbarium
* A calm, sensory, and inspiring atmosphere
* Tips about how to grow these herbs at home during this spring
By the end of the 4 days, youâll leave not only with a beautiful series of paintings, but also with a deeper understanding of the plants around you â and how they can become part of your everyday rituals.
The workshop includes **four classes**, but youâre also welcome to join individual sessions (when available).

Ultimate Frisbee in the Park - sunset sparkle
Hi everyone. We'll meet and play a relaxed game of ultimate in Volkspark Rehberge if the weather cooperates.
Our games focus on having great team play, where the teams work together to advance the disk down the field. It's more important to work well together as a team than have a few star players get a point with lucky shots. For this reason, players of all skill levels (especially those who have never played) are welcome to join
Bring plenty of water, shoes you can run in and comfortable clothing that can get a bit dirty.
Although we're an established group, newcomers are always welcome.
After the game we try to spend some time together and have fun.
Finding us: We meet in this big grassy area, it's a short bike ride from the subway stop Rehberge on the U6 or Amrumer Strasse on the U9. It can be a bit tricky to find the first time, so we've got a few methods to help out (don't trust the meetup map pin, it often shows some point in the park, not the exact spot where we are)
1. GPS: 52°32'54.9"N 13°19'51.0"E ; 52.548581, 13.330842

*By participating, you acknowledge and accept the risk of injury while playing Ultimate. Although adherence to the rules, proper equipment, and common sense reduce this risk, the risk of serious injury does exist; and, you willingly and freely assume all such risks.*
Yoga in Volkspark (Free)
Feel free to come to an outdoor community yoga session on Tuesday evening at Volkspark near Harry Porter Speilplatz.

**This event is absolutely free of charge !**
đ§ âď¸ When: Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.
đż Level: All levels welcome
đŁď¸ Language: English
đ Meeting point: Harry Porter platz, Volkspark
Please bring your yoga mat, water and good energy â and let's practice together in nature.
We will meet at the Harry Porter Speilplatz at 6:30 and will walk to the peaceful spot to practice.
See you soon on the mat!

It's more than a walk. But it doesn't feel like it.

OMEGA TALKS
You are warmly invited to our next Omega Talk:
**HOLLOW EARTH â**
***A Forgotten Cosmology Reconsidered***
For centuries, we have been taught to see Earth as a solid sphere. Yet another possibility continues to appear like a forgotten echo:
What if Earth is not as solid as we think?
What if beneath the surface lies a vast, hidden world?
In this Omega Talk, we will explore the fascinating and controversial idea of the Hollow Earth â a forgotten cosmology that invites us to look beyond conventional models and reconsider ancient knowledge, polar mysteries, seismic questions, the idea of an inner sun, and the possibility of Earth as a living, breathing planetary being.
This evening is not about blindly accepting a theory: It is an invitation to curiosity, open inquiry, and expanded perception.
Join us for a jorney beneath the surface â could earth be more mysterious, more alive, and more multidimensional than we have taught to believe?
After the presentation, there will be time to create a warm space for reflection, connection and friendship over tea and snacks.
I look forward to welcoming you đ

**WHY GO?**
The Briesetal is one of Brandenburgs most scenic valleys, formed by river Briese. The quiet nature preservation area is home to mischievous beavers whose dams created a sunken birch forest. The valley is still dominated by unspoilt nature, seemingly untouched by humans. It's only a 40 minute train ride north of Berlin, making it the perfect day trip getaway from the city's hustling.
Following the meandering river we traverse the mystical forest, walk on wooden planks through moors and marshes and explore natural habitats and endemic wildlife. On this hike, immerse yourself into natureâs wonder! Have you ever observed the tiny details of the outdoors? Such as the intricate veins on the back of a leaf? Or the delicate edges of flowersâ petals? Or the movement of a cheeky squirrel?
On this walk, you will have the chance to truly connect with the natural world around you.
No experience or preparation is needed, just your curiosity. You will be guided through every step of the way.

Hike in a forest: Zum Teufelsbruch
Hi everyone!
Hiking season is already in full swing, and with the end of May likely to be quite warm, I thought it would be a good idea to head into the forest. This time, weâll be hiking in Teufelsbruch, near Hennigsdorf in Brandenburg, north of Berlin.
Weâll meet on Sunday, May 31st, at 10:00 am at FriedrichstraĂe station, on the lower platform for the S1, S2, and S25 lines. From there, weâll take the S25 towards Hennigsdorf, change to a bus, and continue to Nieder Neuendorf. The journey should take around 45 minutes, and thatâs where our hike will begin.
Our route will follow the banks of the Havel River until we reach BĂźrgerablage, a public beach area (though we wonât be swimming). From there, weâll head into the forest and continue towards Teufelsbruch, a beautiful moorland area. We can visit a tower of the former Berlin Wall. Weâll then make our way towards Rohpfuhl, another moor, walk roughly around it, and finally return to Nieder Neuendorf. From there, weâll take the bus back to Hennigsdorf and then the train back to Berlin.
The hike is a bit longer than usual â around 16 km â and will take approximately 4 hours. Please make sure you have an ABC ticket for public transport, and remember to bring enough water, snacks, and food. Weâll make a short break along the way to eat and rest.
Iâll be wearing a pink cap, so look out for a tall man in a pink cap standing near the escalators. This is a straight-friendly event, so everyone is welcome.
