**The wait is over!** After a long hiatus, we are reviving our favorite morning tradition. Research Tuesday is returning as a monthly ritual for the UX community to meet, share, and discuss the "no-filter" reality of our craft.
We’ve missed the energy of in-person discussions, and we’re thrilled to start this new chapter with you.
**💡 The Vibe: No Cameras, Just Conversations**
If you’re new here, this is our secret sauce: **We never record or stream our meetups.** We believe the best insights come from a safe space where speakers and participants can be brutally honest about what worked - and what didn't.
**🌍 This Month: International Research**
Conducting research across different cultures, languages, and time zones brings a unique set of challenges. How do we adapt our methods for global markets? What are the biggest cultural pitfalls? Our speakers will "kick off" the topic with informal presentations, followed by a deep-dive discussion.

Martina is a UX Researcher at Livesport with over 15 years of experience across the research world. Her career includes working for GfK, Vodafone and Unilever, where she moved between consumer insights, brand management and market research roles. She studied Sociology at Oxford Brookes University and has worked across multiple countries and markets throughout her career. At Research Tuesday, she'll be talking about the challenges and realities of running research internationally.
**Carolina Lourenço Rosa**
Carolina is a Brazilian UX Researcher based in Portugal. With a background in Journalism and Film, she spent over a decade working as a content producer and researcher in media companies, NGOs, and film productions before transitioning to UX in 2022. Today, she works at Livesport conducting qualitative interviews with Brazilian and Portuguese users while coordinating a network of qualitative researchers across Italy, Nigeria, the UK, Colombia, and South Korea. At Research Tuesday, she’ll share her experiences and learnings from conducting and managing research across different markets.

Sunday Reading Circle: Philosophy as a Way of Life
It's easy to get the idea that philosophy is largely an abstract and conceptual endeavor–studying theories that try to explain the universe, morality, or language, and then arguing until we either prove those we disagree with wrong or at least reach a smug sense of clarity. But is that all that philosophy has to offer?
For this month's reading, we'll explore this question with **Pierre Hadot**, a French philosopher and historian of philosophy. Hadot was a **professor at the Collège de France**, where he held the **Chair in the History of Hellenistic and Roman Thought**.
He specialized in **ancient Greek and Roman philosophy--especially Stoicism, Neoplatonism, and early Christian thought**–as was known for his scholarship on **Marcus Aurelius, Plotinus, and ancient spiritual exercises**. His work has influenced many contemporary philosophers, classicists, and the modern revival of philosophy as a lived practice.

Matt leads end-to-end AI initiatives for enterprise customers, identifying high-impact use cases and maintaining relentless focus on measurable ROI. He holds eight AWS certifications and serves as Adjunct Professor at Franklin University teaching cloud computing and AWS architecture. His expertise encompasses GenAI, agentic AI systems, migration, modernization, and optimization strategies that drive transformation at scale.

We're bringing a little friendly competition to the Columbus ServiceNow community while highlighting the cool things people have built on the platform.
Five presenters will take the stage to showcase something they've built, solved, designed, or imagined on the ServiceNow platform - and a panel of judges (plus YOU, our amazing audience) will score them live.
So basically, America's Got Talent but make it ServiceNow's Got Talent.
Bring a notepad if you'd like 'cause you'll definitely be learning something new.
Each presenter gets 10 minutes max to wow the crowd with:
