We’re excited to invite you to a special **Sunset Hiking & Camping Experience** — a journey from the glowing mountains of Khorfakkan to the peaceful shores of Al Aqah Beach. 🌄 **Part 1: Sunset Hike – Al Rabi Hiking Trail, Khorfakkan** *Our adventure begins with a **4 km easy hike** along the stunning Al Rabi Trail.* *This part of the journey will feel magical — the perfect blend of gentle exercise, good company, and pure mountain oxygen. As we make our way up, the fresh breeze, the vast open views, and the colors of the sunset lighting up the coastline will create an unforgettable moment. It’s the kind of hike that energizes your body, clears your mind, and fills your soul.* ⛺🔥 **Part 2: Beach Camping – Al Aqah, Fujairah** After the hike, we’ll head to **Al Aqah Beach** for a cozy camping night by the waves. We’ll set up our tents, light the fire, and prepare dinner together — and if you’d like, you can join the BBQ experience and grill your own food. The evening will flow naturally with calm music, cozy vibes, social conversations, fun board games, and conversation cards. We’ll roast marshmallows around the fire, share stories, and unwind under a clear sky full of stars. The sound of the waves will set the perfect background for a relaxing, memorable night. 🌅 **Part 3: Morning at the Beach** We’ll wake up around **7:30 AM** to warm coffee and a simple breakfast as the sun rises over the water. **Day 1: Al Quaa aka the “Milky Way spot” - Stargazing, BBQ, games, telescope & camp** We will leave Dubai at 1 pm and head on a beautiful 2-3 hours road trip to Al Quaa, a secluded Abu Dhabi spot that offers out-of-this-world views of a sky full of stars. We will then enjoy stargazing at the darkest place in the UAE with stellar views of the galaxy, constellations, planets and shooting starts. We will then have the usual best bbq in town, drinks, card games, music, have some melting marshmallows on camp fire and camp under the clear skies full of stars. **Day 2: Sunrise, Bites, and Back to the City** In the morning, we will take a morning walk and watch the sunrise over the dunes. We will then return to camp for breakfast. Once we have finished breakfast and packing, we will leave for Dubai. *Note: Timings might shift a little with sunrise and sunset. Over time I'm hoping to organize a hike to all the Franklin County Metro Parks. This is the first one so if you're interested jump in! We'll start with the Canopy Walk, a cool feature of this park. Climb 100 stairs to the top - or take the elevator if stairs aren't your thing. At the top there are a bunch of things to play on - a rope bridge, a fireman pole that we can slide down - and more! About fifteen minutes there and we'll head to the natural trail, Buttonbush, Maple and Beech Trail for 2.2 miles then do a 1.7 mile loop on the paved Greenway Trail. We'll be passing our cars as we transition if you only want to do the first loop, or the second loop. Pace of around 3.5 mph but no one left behind. If there is an interest we can grab lunch nearby afterward.
