We are delighted to welcome you to the second year of the **Mama Cacao Showcase**, a series of intimate gatherings where music, cacao, movement, and community come together in the heart of nature. These evenings are created as a space to celebrate presence, creativity, and connection. Under the open sky and surrounded by the quiet beauty of the forest, we gather to share ceremonial cacao and experience a carefully curated musical journey. Each edition of the Showcase features a **special guest artist**, making every gathering unique. Together with Jkson, our guest will guide us through a night of sound, rhythm, and movement—an invitation to open the heart, awaken the body, and celebrate the joy of being alive. This is more than a performance; it is a shared experience where music becomes a bridge between inner reflection and collective celebration. ## The Journey **Cacao Ceremony** We begin by opening the circle with the sacred medicine of Mama Cacao, brought from the lands of Peru. This ancient plant has been used for centuries to support connection, presence, and heartfelt communication. **Music & Ecstatic Dance Journey** Together with a special guest artist, Jkson will guide the musical journey of the evening. This part of the gathering invites free movement and authentic expression. Players are accepted into the session based on skill suitability. This session is for experienced players looking for quality games. Play is focused on doubles with a competitive mindset and consistent rallies. You should be comfortable smashing, return smashes and keeping up a moderate tempo throughout the session. New players and those who are new to badminton are welcome to join the PM Session (Open Level Play). Payment can be made via TWINT after the session.

**Pagans on the Patio! Summer/Fall Series** A casual gathering the first Thursday of each month. Time to relax, meet new people, and reconnect with old friends. Dodgeball is back again! If you’ve been wanting to come out, this is an easy one to join. We’ll be playing for about 1.5 to 2 hours, you do not need to bring any equipment, and no experience is needed. We use a specific set of rules and equipment to make the games run better and keep them fun for everybody, not just people who already know how to play. If it rains, the event will be canceled.

This week is national unplayed games week, so we encourage you to break out those shrink-wrapped games you bought on a whim but haven't had a chance to try yet. Do your best to learn the game ahead of time to facilitate the process! let's get those dusty ones to the table! The Forge does have a full bar and kitchen. There is no cover charge but they do request all attendees to purchase a minimum of ~20 per person. Soft drink refills are 1 each. Please support our hosts so we can continue to provide great events for the group! The Forge has a large library of games available for us to enjoy. Hosts and regulars will also provide numerous popular games but please bring any games you would like to teach and/or play. Doors open at 6, and we expect gaming to be rolling by around 630. Please promptly end your games and clear out the space at 10pm when the bar closes. We encourage socializing but do not permit disruptive behavior of any kind. Thank you for your continued commitment to providing a fun and welcoming space to veteran, newbie, and rookie gamers in the Columbus area. Parking can sometimes fill esrly. There is additional parking lot behind the neighboring Mexican restaurant that is free and easy to walk from but it's a bit hidden.
