Join me for the Multicultural Film Festival Premiere 2026 at ACMI. The Multicultural Film Festival is an annual short film festival presented by the Victorian Multicultural Commission. This year’s theme is “A Million Stories,” celebrating the richness that refugees and multicultural communities bring through lived experience, creativity and storytelling. The evening includes a networking function, short film screenings and an awards ceremony. It should be a thoughtful, relaxed and meaningful cultural night for anyone interested in film, multicultural stories, creativity, community and different perspectives. You are very welcome to come solo. We’ll meet outside Time Out Fed Square restaurant first, say hi, then walk over to ACMI together before the festival starts.
