I aquesta vegada, anem a riure amb **‘Hamlet’**, una comèdia d’en **Peyu** fent tàndem amb **Albert Pla**, amb grans dosis d’humor, música i surrealisme. ### Sinopsi: En **Peyu i l’Albert Pla** s’han unit per fer una comèdia i han decidit titular-la **HAMLET**. Darrere d’aquest títol s’hi amaguen els estira-i-arronses de la convivència de dos desconeguts en una habitació d’hospital. Concretament, la 313. Els dos companys d’habitació han ingressat per motius ben diferents, però tots dos són persones turmentades pel seu passat. En mig d’aquesta convivència obligada entre ells hi neix una relació pròpia d’una tragèdia shakespeariana, on les emocions fluctuen entre la tendresa i l’odi més visceral. La Canonja obre portes al centre d’interpretació del jaciment del barranc de la Boella, **un dels més importants del món** i que té els mamuts, els rinoceronts i els hipopòtams com a grans protagonistes I es per aquesta raó que us volem portar a un lloc on teniem moltes ganes de anar-hi, i és que, per fí, desprès de molt temps en projecte, l’**Espai Mammuthus obre les seves portes** per poder visitar un lloc únic a Catalunya. L’Espai Mammuthus es un espai museitzat que a través de les troballes arqueològiques i dels estudis científics que han propiciat el projecte de recerca al jaciment del **Barranc de la Boella**, el visitant pot fer **un viatge a un milió d’anys enrere per conèixer i experimentar** qui i com es vivia en aquest període prehistòric, alhora que efectuarà un recorregut per l’evolució humana. El MAMMUTHUS és un espai **únic i singular** per conèixer la prehistòria i les primeres poblacions humanes del Camp de Tarragona. Al llarg de tots aquests anys, el jaciment del Barranc de la Boella s’ha convertit en un **referent internacional** pel coneixement de les primeres poblacions humanes d’Europa. Aquest conjunt arqueològic s’inclou dins d’un període de la prehistòria **molt poc conegut al nostre territori i també a tot el continent europeu, fet que dóna una gran importància al jaciment**. Aqui podrem trobar **una cinquantena de les peces originals** més significatives trobades al jaciment, gràcies a la cessió feta per la Generalitat de Catalunya. **Res de rèpliques**. Podrem contemplar restes de *rinoceronts, hipopòtams i, per descomptat, mamuts* —les veritables estrelles de l’exposició—, a més d’altres espècies de fauna prehistòrica que compartien l’espai amb els humans de fa un milió d’anys. També compta amb una zona que explica i recopila eines trobades al jaciment, com llances i altres objectes per a tallar, i a la planta superior, una zona equipada amb pantalles explica l’evolució humana d’una manera molt didàctica. En esta primera salida para el 2026, iremos a ver la exposición de Caixaforum Barcelona **"Las voces del Pacífico"**: De Nueva Guinea a Hawái, y de Rapa Nui a Nueva Zelanda, Oceanía es un entramado de islas y culturas unidas por el Pacífico. La exposición cuenta con más de doscientas piezas, históricas y contemporáneas, procedentes de las **colecciones del British Museum** dedicadas a pueblos de las islas del Pacífico, entre las que se encuentran remos ceremoniales, figuras de ancestros talladas en basalto, vestidos hechos con corteza de morera, sombreros, maquetas de canoas bélicas y muchos objetos más. **Si nos da tiempo, animo a ver una segunda exposición llamada "Somos naturaleza", una exposición inmersiva audiovisual** sobre la naturaleza y la necesidad de preservarla. Our January program is privileged to have Kristen Tregar as our speaker. Ms. Tregar is the co-author with John de Lancie (the actor who portrayed the character Q on Star Trek next generation) of a radio play depicting the events surrounding the Kitzmiller v. Dover Area School District trial. The trial decided the issue of some of the Dover school district board members attempting to insert creationism disguised as "intelligent design" into the 9th grade biology curriculum. She will discuss the trial and the process of writing the play. (Bob Leonhard has seen the play and it is riveting and tense). Ms. Tregar's bio is below: Kristen Tregar is a dramaturg, director, playwright, and theatre teacher. She earned her Ph.D. in Drama and Theatre from the UC San Diego and UC Irvine joint program. In addition, she has a MS in Forensic Science from City University of New York- John Jay College of Criminal Justice and a MA in Educational Theatre from New York University- Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development. In 2013, in collaboration with Irish colleagues, she founded *The Ireland Project*, an intercontinental devised theatre work with high school students in New York and Tallaght, Ireland. Her original short story "Far From Here" was recently published in *Stay Awhile Longer: More Scenes From Temecula Valley*. She has two rescued dogs (Kira and Harry) and she rides, competes, and foxhunts with her horses, Andromache and Baker Street Irregular. Food and drinks will be provided at the event. The topic for January is "Chemistry" Speak Easy: true stories, told live. The idea is simple: an audience, an open microphone, and great stories. Hilarious, gripping, poignant- it's up to you. Audiences are invited to come to listen or come to tell as folks from all corners of Columbus offer their stories live on stage! Held at Wild Goose Creative's warm, intimate space, this night of tales occurs on the 3rd Thursday of every month. Doors open at 7:00 pm, show starts at 7:30 pm. Please arrive early if you want to tell, as we generally only have room for a limited number of tellers, and the sign-up sheet has a tendency to fill up fast. Formed around the idea that people need stories--they're what hold and draw us together--SpeakEasy celebrates the strangeness and commonness of being human. And in a world of smartphones, Facebook, Twitter, and more . . . it gives people a real, breathing, in-person way to connect. The night is geared for true stories of all kinds, taking the best tales told around kitchen tables, in darkened pubs, on the street corner, and at late-night parties and giving them an audience. Speak Easy is also a great outlet for performers, writers, and artists looking to share their favorite stories and perfect their skills. We strongly encourage tellers to please tell the story rather than read it so we keep within the spirit of good storytelling and stay engaged with the audience. All are welcome.
