The session will be life model focused but Freya will introduce chaotic elements to challenge you and move your drawing on to higher levels. Enjoy drawing from a different model each week Tuesday, to an eclectic compilation of sounds, in a friendly welcoming community and local artist host, Anna @LAD. These sessions are held in-person and sometimes offering an online element too, in the home of this group, in the heart of Finsbury Park in a quirky and cosy cafe setting. Who Framed Roger Rabbit is a 1988 American fantasy comedy film directed by Robert Zemeckis from a screenplay written by Jeffrey Price and Peter S. Seaman. Combining live-action and animation, it is loosely based on Gary K. Wolf's novel, Who Censored Roger Rabbit?. The film stars Bob Hoskins, Christopher Lloyd, Stubby Kaye and Joanna Cassidy, with Charles Fleischer providing the voice of the title character. Set in an alternative history Hollywood in 1947, where humans and cartoon characters (referred to as "toons") co-exist, Who Framed Roger Rabbit follows Eddie Valiant, a private investigator with a grudge against toons, who must help exonerate Roger, who has been framed for murder. The film received critical acclaim for its visuals, humour, writing, performances and ground breaking combination of live-action and animation. It won three Academy Awards for Best Film Editing, Best Sound Effects Editing and Best Visual Effects and received a Special Achievement Academy Award for Williams' animation direction. In 2016, the film was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress as "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant." A relaxed and social evening of life drawing featuring male models in a welcoming, body-positive environment. Whether you’ve never drawn before or already love sketching, this class is designed to be approachable, creative and fun. Across the evening, you’ll take part in guided life-drawing exercises with opportunities to explore form, movement and expression while naturally meeting and chatting with the people around you. With a smaller group setting, the event creates an easy atmosphere for conversation and connection. These events aren’t just about the activity itself, they’re about creating spaces where gay men can build friendships, share experiences and feel part of a community outside of the usual nightlife scene. Expect a relaxed atmosphere, great conversation and a creative evening with like-minded people. All materials will be provided, including drawing boards, paper, pencils, charcoal and erasers, though you’re welcome to bring your own supplies if preferred. This is a studio based long pose life drawing and painting session. We have a nude model for two hours in a single pose to give you time to complete a finished drawing or to paint the figure. Usually **the same pose is repeated the following week so that you can give six hours to your work,** remember to book the same position for both weeks. Extensions allow developers to customize the editor with new features, integrations, and workflow improvements tailored to their needs. In this session, we’ll cover what extensions are and the different types available, including full extensions written in TypeScript or JavaScript, along with lighter-weight extensions such as color themes, language packs, language support, code snippets, and keymaps. We’ll also look at practical reasons a developer might create an extension, from automating repetitive tasks to adding custom tooling. The session includes a hands-on walkthrough of creating a new extension, testing it locally, and understanding the basic project structure.
