Welcome to the Shanghai Pub Crawl! If you're someone who loves trying different drinks, making new friends, and exploring the nightlife of Shanghai, this group is made for you. **Our Events:** Join us at 9 PM for our exciting pub crawl events that give you a chance to discover the coolest nightlife spots in Shanghai. In the opening ceremony you'll enjoy : ✅Dedicated English-speaking guides ✅Live Guqin performance **About Guqin** The Guqin is one of the oldest musical instruments in China, with a history of more than 3,000 years. In ancient China, both Guqin and calligraphy(Shufa) were essential skills for the upper elites. They would often gather, listen to Guqin music, practice calligraphy, and enjoy refined conversations together — a classic way of socializing among cultured friends. Therefore, it’s easy to understand why, during French President Macron’s visit to China in 2023, President Xi hosted him with a live performance of the famous Guqin piece “High Mountain Flowing Water”. If you’re not very familiar with the Guqin yet, you may come and visit a completely free Guqin exhibition from May 29 to June 29 in a beautiful nearly 100-year-old villa right in downtown Shanghai.

Suzhou Creek and North Bund Walking Tour Come with me for a stroll along my favorite part of Suzhou Creek and North Bund, passing numerous historical sites and culture landmarks while enjoying some natural peace and quiet at the same time. The entire route is about 5 kilometers long and aims to lead participants in reading architecture, appreciating culture, and engaging with history and meet and greet new friends on the tour.. Suzhou Creek, the biggest tributary of the Huangpu, runs through central areas of the city and stretches from the Outer Ring to the Bund. Suzhou creek waterfront has been revitalized in recent years to provide uninterrupted walking paths, new gardens and ample resting areas. The riverbanks in Huangpu District, about 3 kilometers from Chengdu Road Bridge to Waibaidu Bridge near the Bund, has become a pedestrian-favored corridor Let us enjoy the enchanting scenery of the Suzhou Creek not only on foot, Waibaidu Bridge （Garden bridge） This is China’s first all-steel bridge and, in Shanghai style, lights up in different colors in the evening. This steel bridge from 1907 is one of a few unequal height truss bridge in China. It played a part in numerous books and movies With its rich history and unique design, it is a symbol of ShanghaiSimply enjoy the walk on the wooden deck of this old bridge Suzhou Creek holds a special place in the hearts of Shanghai residents. The region's silks and ceramics were carried along the Maritime Silk Road in the Tang Dynasty (AD 618-907), and centuries later the area became an early industrial hub of the city. Since Shanghai was forced to open its port in 1843, the creek has been the backdrop for dramatic landmarks in the city's history. It was the scene of wartime suffering and the birthplace of China's earliest national industries. North Bund offers innovation, history, stunning skyline views Shanghai’s riverside areas have already been transformed with greenery and walking paths, shikumen residences are being renovated, and the historic North Bund is becoming the city’s “most beautiful parlor.” Let's have a walk along North Bund, a gem with stunning views of the Lujiazui skyline, plenty of thrilling adventures to get up to, and countless photo-worthy moments waiting for you to capture.

Be it a book, blog, script, essay, dissertation, resume, melody, poem or just plain work stuff, you are invited to write it with us. No one will see what you've written or give you unsolicited advice. Instead of just thinking about writing, come and get some real writing done. **SCHEDULE:** 6:45ish - Quick introductions 7:00 - Timer starts: write for 1 hour 8:00 - The End **OPTIONAL SOCIALIZING** happens before and after the writing hour.
