Everyone will be provided a name tag, index card and pen, in which you’ll write your name at the top and phone number or email. Write each person’s name you meet. Next to their name, write yes or no / Y or N if you’re interested in them or not.
We’ll have 4 minutes for each interaction. When the bell rings; men, get up and have a seat with the next lady.
At the end of the event, I’ll collect all of the cards. If the guy and gal both selected ‘yes’ for each other, then I’ll send her contact info to the lucky guy to contact the lady for a date! You’ll recieve your matches within 2 days.

**In a time of division and isolation, come be part of the community that's rebuilding the town square, one table at a time.** **This dinner in particular will be very special as we celebrate America's 250th birthday. How better to honor a semiquincentennial of democracy that spending an evening practicing it?** In BreadBreakers, we use the common space of the dining table to have conversations where neighbors can **hear, be heard, and know one another.** If you're hungry for good conversation and deeper community, join us for a Community Dinner in Reston and help blaze the trail to a healthier, more connected society and democracy. Here’s how it works: For just two hours, multiple tables of people set aside the need to "win" and instead focus on sharing, listening, and connecting. Guided by experienced table hosts, we'll tell our stories, try to understand each other, and practice being in community with those with different views or backgrounds. **At this dinner, participants will get to choose between three different topics, including some current events.** Topics range from the political, to the "slice of life", to the spiritual, to the philosophical, to the off-the-wall - but no matter which table you choose to sit at, you can be sure it'll be like no dinner conversation you've had before! The conference call is the second Thursday of each month at 8:30 PM est. Lets join in a discussion on what can be done to address the concerns we all share for the status of our country’s civil government and have prayer to close the call. Guest speakers will be present at some of the calls to provide input on political issues. *In this talk, Rev. Hannah Sachs, Pastor of Faith Formation at Rock Spring UCC, will share her journey from a conservative Evangelical upbringing to her current life as an ordained minister in an affirming tradition. Moving beyond the defensive position that "queerness isn't a sin," she will invite us to consider a more radical, prophetic possibility: that queer identity is actually an integral spiritual blessing the Church desperately needs to stay alive. Together, we will explore the idea that queerness is not merely something to be tolerated, but may offer a vital lens for understanding the expansive, boundless nature of God and the liberating way of Christ.*
