Alternative Friday Night is a relaxed, alcohol-free evening for under-30s who want a different way to spend their Friday night. Instead of drinking and partying, we come together for storytelling, music, and meaningful conversation in a warm, welcoming space. If you’re aged 18–30 and looking to connect with others, share ideas, listen deeply, or express yourself creatively, this evening is for you. No experience with Buddhism is required — just an openness to conversation and connection. Siobhan Wolf Shaffer is an ordained spiritualist minister and certified medium and healer with over 20 years experience. The Unity of Columbus Resource Group for the Homeless is seeking compassionate volunteers who would like to help serve and uplift members of our homeless community. This group is dedicated to sharing kindness, resources, and support with individuals who may be experiencing difficult circumstances. Anyone with a heart for service is welcome to join us as we work together to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
