Ping Pong is all about Beer, Bragging rights and making Buddies! Come along to the Ping Pong Social at Bounce Shoreditch to unwind, meet likeminded people and of course show off your whiff whaff skills! This event is crafted to serve both serious Table Tennis players with lots of challenges & tournaments, as well as the social players with tailor made games for singles, couples, colleagues & friends. Come and play board games! Join us for tabletop board and card games such as Just One, Colt Express, Saboteur, Potion Explosion and Wingspan. Monday nights are aimed at welcoming players who are new to modern board games. We always try to make sure that someone is happy to teach games and welcome new people on the night, so don't worry if you're not sure what to play or who to sit with. We don't charge a fee for attending the Meetup, but you will need to pay the venue's game session fee of £8 per person (unless you have a Gold or VIP [Ludoquist membership](https://www.theludoquist.com/collections/membership-2022)). Please arrive by 18:50 in time for everyone to get into groups for the main games to start at 19:00. We will start arriving from 18:30 if anyone wants to join early for short games and chat. Season 34 of PlayOn Snooker Leagues at Hurricane Room in Kings Cross will be starting on Monday 6th April! Season 33 had 30 players across 5 Divisions (ranging from beginner / casual players to very good club players). If you are interested in joining, just contact me so I can find out a little more about your playing standard, and we'll take it from there! Its pretty straight forward and chilled :) Matches are first player to reach 4 frames (although first to 3 frames is permitted in some of the lower Divisions). Points are awarded for wins, whitewash victories, and high breaks (E.g. 25+ gets you a bonus point in Division 1… or 15+ in the lowest Division). There will be promotions and relegations for the top and bottom players in each Division. NOTE: By signing up to Season 34, you will need to commit to play once per week for the duration of the league (roughly 6 weeks). Of course if you can't make a week due to unforseen circumstances / holidays etc, then you must be willing to catch up your matches as soon as possible, or you may forfeit the points to your opponent. You can play your match on any day of the week that suits both you and your opponent (**there is no physical meet up on Monday 6th April**). The cost to enter is £25 (my fee for organising the leagues). This needs to be paid before you play your first match. Table fees need to be split between both players: £10 per hour (discounted league rate Sunday-Wednesday ALL DAY, or Thursday to Saturday before 6pm... otherwise £14 per hour) You must also be a member of Hurricane Room clubs to participate: (Students & Seniors - £17.50 per year... Play the game that 'Traitors' is based upon! Mafia is a 10-player social game; it can get competitive, but it's easy to learn. We play at multiple tables. You get a secret role and work with your team to win. A game lasts about 45 minutes, so we play many during the day. The **Mafia team** tries to hide and eliminate the **Citizens**, while the **Citizens** try to find the Mafia through deduction and logic. While this is a **beginner-only** event, we also host tournaments and online events with more experienced players from around the world. Join OverBoard to play the brilliant social deduction game Blood on the Clocktower in person at the brand new board game cafe Otter Chaos in Brixton. If you haven’t heard of Blood on the Clocktower before it is an evolution of classic party games like Mafia/Werewolf where a hidden evil team takes on the good team by lying and killing. The good team has a few tricks up their sleeve but will have to work together to deduce who the evil doers are in their midst. **This is a beginner friendly event so no experience with the game is necessary.** Please note that a gaming cover charge of \~£5 will be payable by each attendee to the venue so that we can make use of the space. We also encourage you to buy food and drink from the bar so we are supporting the business (I can highly recommend their pizzas!) Welcome to Casual Boardgames, where we enjoy classic tabletop games and social deduction games while bonding over good food, drinks, and great conversations. 
We started this group to meet new people and make new friends, and bonding over games in a relaxed atmosphere is a great way to do that. We currently meet near route 23 and Polaris Parkway, and this is close to areas like Powell, Lewis Center, Worthington, and parts of Westerville and Columbus. 
Feel free to bring your own games or play one of the many games our members bring. If you are inexperienced, we will help you learn. 
Here are just a few examples of the kind of games we play. 
Tabletop/board games: Splendor, Catan, Azul, Dominion, 7 Wonders… 
Social deduction games: Code Names, Chameleon, Werewords… 
IMPORTANT: 
1. While we love playing a variety of games and competing, we are not just about the games. We interact and talk while playing, and this leads to a lot of laughter and fun. If you just want to compete and focus solely on the game, then this is probably not the group you are looking for. 
2. Many people join groups like this and never (or rarely) show up after weeks or months. If you join and never really come, we will eventually remove you from the group as a courtesy to our members. Why? Because limiting group conversations (on the app) to regular members makes communication and planning much easier. Also, while it may be rare, it protects members from people who join because they are interested in following a person instead of having a real interest in our group. If you get removed, it is just because you haven’t come, and we follow this protocol as a courtesy to our regular game players.
