**Tsing Shan Monastery - 青山禪院 in Tuen Mun** is one of the oldest Buddhist monasteries in Hong Kong, Tsing Shan hosts 3 famous buildings the Pui To Pagoda, Tsing Wan Koon, and the Tsing Shan Temple. Some say the temple site originated as far back as the Jin dynasty (265–420 AD) but most scholars believe the site was developed during the Song (960-1279 AD). The monastery's history was later recounted in the Dongguan Gazetteer in 1464 and the Xinan Gazetteer in 1688 and 1819. Including historical structures and beautiful artifacts the gate also features a famous Shiwan 石湾镇街道 ceramic arch which is considered a treasure. We'll gather at Siu Hong MTR Station and jump on the Light Rail to the temple. One thing to note, there are steps! I mean A LOT of steps.
