Hello everyone, Paul here, I'm a French tennis coach, I’m organising a 1-hour tennis session for FULL BEGINNERS at CWB Sport Ground, specifically for those who have never tried tennis before. The lesson will take place on a practice court, which features a half court and a tennis wall. The objective of the class is to learn the two most fundamental tennis strokes: the backhand and forehand. To facilitate learning, we will use a mini tennis net, the tennis wall and various types of balls. (Soft/half soft/normal). By popular demand, the group wanted to read and discuss the semi-autobiographical novel by Henri-Pierre Roche, that inspired the Truffaut movie we watched last year. The book is available through the Columbus Library's interlibrary loan system. They reported there are twenty-eight copies available in the state of Ohio. There are also used copies available on Amazon and eBay for under twenty dollars. You may want to rewatch the movie after reading the book, so we can compare and contrast in our discussion.
