== ABOUT == * This is open to everyone who RSVP (mandatory) * We play casual and are open to any gender, age, and physical form, so far our demographics have been mostly men, between 20 and early 30 years old. Some haven't exercised/played for a long time (due to covid/confinements restrictions), and most of us are from outside Paris or even France, so pretty friendly and chill. * Sundays for 1.5 hours, 2 teams of 6 (max) 5 in with 1 sub, rotating every 5 min. * All pitches are synthetic/astro turf and have sidewalls that can be used to rebound (meaning no lines, probably more physical games) == PLACE == LeFive 17 - 26 Rue Hélène et François Missoffe · Paris 17 * All pitches are open-air and covered by the highway above. There are usually 2 sessions to choose from. **This session is open to intermediate level players and above ONLY.** What that means is that you should be comfortable with short serves to the T, doubles rotations, and smashes. There is also an open session at 11 am for players of all abilities. See the separate event just above. **Which Session To Choose** If you're unsure of your level, sign up for the 11am session to start or ask us! We try our utmost to ensure that you play with people of similar levels. **What Do You Need** Don't worry about equipment; racquets and shuttlecocks are provided, and there's no need for a badminton license or insurance. Just bring your indoor sports shoes, and a willingness to meet new friends and have lots of fun. There are changing rooms and showers. **Get There Early** Try and get there early to change and get warmed up so that we can start right on time. The courts are normally not being used before we play, so we can get a little extra time playing. **Registration & Payments** Registration is 14€ per person, and you can sign up via PayPal through this event page. Please join us the 3rd Wednesday of each month to learn more about the Columbus Ski Club and what we have to offer. Pizza, wings and a variety of appetizers provided. We are a non-profit organization founded in 1958 with over 800 members. The club has grown beyond the single mission of providing members with not only quality skiing events but also year round social and sport activities. Our gatherings are an opportunity for members and non-members to interact and learn about the many activities offered such as euchre, billiards, volleyball, pickleball, tennis, bowling, golf & softball leagues along with ski and non-ski trips. Our members also plan group activities such as visits to wine tastings, bike trips, comedy clubs, concerts, plays and local sports games, etc. CSC membership is not required to belong to the Meetup group. Membership is required in order to participate in most club activities (CSC member). However, anyone (21 and over) is welcome at our meeting gatherings which consist of checking out our current activities and socializing. The annual dues for club membership are $35 with the membership year from September 1st – August 31st. We’re still working to get more people into these Meetups, but our goal is to give PlayYourCourt members a few social tennis outings each week in addition to your practice sessions and Challenge League matches. These Meetups are co-ed, super laid back, and all skill levels are welcome.
