Full Moon Meditation
Step into a sacred space of stillness, connection, and renewal under the luminous energy of the full moon.
This women’s meditation evening hosted in the beautiful rooftop room is a gentle invitation to pause, breathe, and realign with your inner wisdom.
Surrounded by a supportive circle, you’ll be guided through calming meditations, reflective practices, and intention-setting rituals designed to help you release what no longer serves you and welcome in clarity, balance, and empowerment.
Please bring along a yoga mat, blanket, and pillow to create your own cozy, supportive space for the evening. You’re also welcome to sit in a chair if that feels more comfortable—this is your time to relax in whatever way suits you best.
We’ll gently close the evening together with a warm herbal tea, giving you a moment to ground, reflect, and ease back into the world feeling nourished and calm
Whether you’re seeking rest, insight, or deeper connection—with yourself and others—this evening offers a nurturing environment to simply be.

Free meditation classes in Carlton
* This weekly event is every Thursday evening- same time, same place.-
Try guided meditation and you will feel relaxed and refreshed. The simple techniques of Sahaja Yoga Meditation discovered by Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi will allow you to unwind wherever you are and whenever you want.
Sahaja Yoga meditation involves no 'yoga' postures. Sahaja means 'born with' and yoga actually means 'union'. We are all born with the potential of being in union with the all pervading power of love.
In a Sahaja Yoga workshop you will experience several simple methods to easily access and feel the state of your subtle body - your chakras and subtle energy channels. You will then be shown how to realise the potential that lies hidden in you.
No special clothes or equipment needed.
Free and without any obligation.
Experience the inner peace and bring your friends along.

Columbus Comedy Improv Meetup at Gresso's!
Whether you've never done improv before, or you've done it for so long you knew Del Close on a personal level, or anywhere in between, come join us! Swing by *Gresso's* for the **Columbus Improv Comedy Meetup** for some fun and games!
The idea behind improv is to create entire scenes from scratch based on a suggestion from the audience. This can be done in game form, like *Whose Line Is It Anyway*, *ComedySportz*, or *Wild 'n Out*; it could also be done to tell stories, like *Middleditch and Schwartz*. Our meetup, which is central Ohio's longest running (and free!) weekly comedy event, brings the games (and occasionally different forms) for you to play in a safe, supportive, and compassionate environment. Not only is it a lot of fun, but you get to work on thinking faster on your feet, plus it's an excellent way to meet new people and make friendships that'll last a lifetime!
Ask yourself if you want to join the **Columbus Improv Comedy Meetup**, and say "Yes, And" that you'll have fun!
Arthouse Friday: THE DRAMA at the Drexel Theatre!
Join us as we get together for an Arthouse Movie Friday event to see the A24 dark comedy /romance / psychological-thriller, THE DRAMA! The film stars Zendaya and Robert Pattinson as a happily engaged couple whose relationship is challenged when one discovers unsettling truths about the other. Here are details, a trailer and our plan for this event:
DESCRIPTION: The film follows a happily engaged couple whose relationship is put to the test when an unexpected turn sends their wedding week off the rails. The film comes from A24, is written/directed by Kristoffer Borgli stars Zendaya, Robert Pattinson, Mamoudou Athie, Alana Haim, Hailey Gates and Zoë Winters.
ZENDAYA-PATTINSON TRIFECTA CHALLENGE: Robert Pattinson and Zendaya will star in THREE movies together this year, including THE DRAMA, Christopher Nolan’s THE ODYSSEY this Summer and Denis Villeneuve’s DUNE: PART THREE at Christmas!
TRAILER: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6zmKcUa4Xxk](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6zmKcUa4Xxk)
BUZZ & REVIEWS: Overall some solid early reviews but this one seems to be a bit polarizing! We’ll have to see for ourselves. Those in the “loved it” camp say is not the rom-com the trailers would have you to believe! Instead, a twisty darkly comedic drama that’s “anchored by two compelling performances,” “an original idea, great cast, and a movie that’s gonna have people talking at the end of it!”
PLAN: A slightly later showtime so we’ll go with dinner before the show this time. Here’s the plan: For dinner before the movie, meet at nearby BRASSICA between 5:45 and 6:00pm. Go through the line, and we’ll try to snag as many of the high-top tables as we can. For the movie, please purchase your ticket for the 7:30pm showing and we’ll meet in the lobby area between 7:00 and 7:15pm. I’ll be with the dinner group and will try to get there as close to 7pm as possible. Advance ticket purchase not required for this theater. When you purchase yours at counter, be sure to mention you’re with the Movie Group for admission and concession discounts.
Take care and look forward to seeing you there, Dan
Speak Easy (Storytelling)
The topic for April is "Water"
Speak Easy: true stories, told live.
The idea is simple: an audience, an open microphone, and great stories. Hilarious, gripping, poignant- it's up to you. Audiences are invited to come to listen or come to tell as folks from all corners of Columbus offer their stories live on stage! Held at Wild Goose Creative's warm, intimate space, this night of tales occurs on the 3rd Thursday of every month. Doors open at 6:30 pm, show starts at 7:00 pm. Please arrive early if you want to tell, as we generally only have room for a limited number of tellers, and the sign-up sheet has a tendency to fill up fast.
Formed around the idea that people need stories--they're what hold and draw us together--SpeakEasy celebrates the strangeness and commonness of being human. And in a world of smartphones, Facebook, Twitter, and more . . . it gives people a real, breathing, in-person way to connect.
The night is geared for true stories of all kinds, taking the best tales told around kitchen tables, in darkened pubs, on the street corner, and at late-night parties and giving them an audience. Speak Easy is also a great outlet for performers, writers, and artists looking to share their favorite stories and perfect their skills. We strongly encourage tellers to please tell the story rather than read it so we keep within the spirit of good storytelling and stay engaged with the audience. All are welcome. Hang around after the show for a drink and build community!

Contra dance with Big Scioty April 11 - Clinton Heights Lutheran church
**Caller: Kim Thompson**
**Band: Full Moon Country Dance Orchestra**
**Clinton Heights Lutheran Church**
**15 Clinton Heights Ave, Columbus, OH 43202**
WHAT IS CONTRA DANCING? Picture the Grand Ball scenes like you’ve seen in period films such as “Pride and Prejudice”, where the dancers are lined up in long lines, across from each other. That’s English Country Dancing, the predecessor of contra dancing. Now, add moves like “swing your partner” and “do-si-do,” like you’ve seen in square dancing. Set it to fabulous, high energy, live music with fiddles, guitars, percussion and more, alá “Riverdance.” Finally, set the whole scene down in the middle of Woodstock, with a hip, groovy atmosphere, a bit of tie-dye, and hints of counter-culture attitude. THAT’s Contra Dancing!
Wear cool and comfortable clothes (you will get warm) and clean shoes that won't mark up our nice wood floor.
Be sure to come for the beginner's lesson from 7:30 - 8:00, followed by dancing 8:00 - 10:30. All dances are taught; we will help you learn! Beginners always welcome, no need to bring a partner.
Cost is $10.00 adults, $5.00 ages 12-26. Under 12 free. Free parking in church lot.
For more information contact me or check out our website: [www.bigscioty.com](http://www.bigscioty.com/)
