LondonJamSessions x TAM MIC DROP (Chord Flow) #34
LondonJamSessions x TAM MIC DROP (Chord Flow) #34
I am proud to announce that we having our jam at the Temple Of Art & Music in Elephant & Castle!! Chord Flow: A structured improvisation session where players explore a shared chord progression and key, creating music organically in the moment. Lineup (on stage together): • 2 guitarists • 1 bass • 1 drummer • 1–2 singers • 1 additional instrument (sax, trumpet, percussion, etc.) How It Works: 1. A simple chord progression and its key are written on a whiteboard opposite the stage. 2. The group has 5 minutes on stage to explore the progression together. 3. Tempo, time signature, style, and chord changes are left open — the music’s direction is determined by the group. 4. When the timer starts, the music begins. Musicians respond to each other in real time, building the flow organically. 5. No planning or discussion — focus on listening, reacting, and creating a shared musical experience. 6. After 5 minutes, the group rotates and a new set of musicians begin. The Temple Of Art and Music is a live music venue and bar in Elephant & Castle so I encourage anyone attending to bring friends as it will be great fun for them even if they are not playing. The venue has a PA system, drum kit, mics and guitar/bass amps. There is no guarantee that there will be cymbals or drum accessories with the drum kit at the venue. Drummers please being your own if you can. Like all our other jams it will be a chance to jam with other musicians playing the music that you love in a gentle environment with no judgement and no pressure. This jam also uniquely gives the opportunity to play in front of a crowd! Tickets are **£10 online** message us let us know what instrument you play and we will confirm if there is space and send you the Eventbrite link for the jam. Please do not hesitate to contact me for more information about this jam and London Jam Sessions. At London Jam Sessions we have an active community on WhatsApp where we all discuss the upcoming jams and future events. Everyone in the community is encouraged to ask questions and bring forward new ideas. Dm me and I can add you to our Whatsapp group.

The Game Show: Taskmaster Style
The Game Show: Taskmaster Style
**A night of ridiculous challenges, questionable strategy, and glorious chaos — inspired by the hit TV show Taskmaster.** Whether you’re a die-hard fan of the series or just love the idea of doing something delightfully silly with a room full of strangers, this event is built for maximum fun, zero pressure, and plenty of laughter. You’ll take on a series of playful, surprising, and occasionally absurd tasks. Some will test your skill, some your creativity, and some your ability to keep a straight face while doing something utterly ridiculous. Every challenge is designed to be accessible, social, and fun — no special skills required. **Please use the link below to sign up to this event.** [https://dplsk.eventcube.io/events/96392/the-game-show-taskmaster-style](https://dplsk.eventcube.io/events/96392/the-game-show-taskmaster-style) **⭐ What Makes This Event Special ⭐** **The Tasks:** A mix of original challenges created in the spirit of chaotic, creative game shows — some clever, some silly, some gloriously pointless. **The Vibes:** Light-hearted, social, and welcoming. This is not a serious competition; it’s a chance to be playful and enjoy the chaos. **The Hosts:** Friendly, encouraging, and just the right amount of mischievous. They’ll guide you through each task and award points with interpretive fairness. **🎯 Who This Event Is For 🎯** Great for anyone who enjoys: * Creative, silly challenges * Doing something a bit ridiculous * Meeting new people in a relaxed, playful setting You’re welcome to come alone or with friends. This is not a hardcore quiz night or a high-stakes competition. It’s all about fun, not winning. **💷 Price — £5 per person 💷** Your contribution helps us create new tasks, buy props, and keep the event running smoothly. Please note that tickets are non-refundable and non-transferrable. **📍 Where & When 📍** **Address:** The Red Lion, 41 Hoxton Street, London, N1 6NH **Google Maps:** [https://maps.app.goo.gl/U8xYQE34otpfxHh77](https://maps.app.goo.gl/U8xYQE34otpfxHh77) **Nearest Tube Station:** Old Street Underground Station (approx 9 min walk) **Doors Open:** 4:00 PM **Event Starts:** 5:00 PM **Event Ends:** 8:00 PM You must arrive before 5 PM if you wish to participate in this event. ***Reminder*** 🤞:[ ](https://luma.com/aaewwnt1)**[This is not a free event. Click here to get your ticket. Register early.*](https://luma.com/aaewwnt1?utm_source=moo-mu)** If you can't click the link, see comments for a clickable version. ☕ *"I'm fine, thanks."* 🌤️ *"Lovely weather."* 📅 *"Any plans?"* Sound familiar? 👂 Does every chat feel like it's running on autopilot? 🛫 Are you hearing the same old answers, over and over again? 🔁 It’s exhausting, and it keeps everyone at arm's length. **Escape the Small Talk** is a three-hour break from the mundane. This isn't a party or a stiff networking mixer. It's not something in between. This is a different event, hosted by **More EQ**—an organisation offering intentional connection spaces globally—this Sunday afternoon event is a small, focused space to skip the superficial pleasantries and get straight to conversations that actually matter. ## **How the afternoon flows** We don't leave connection to chance, and there's no awkward mingling. The experience has both guided and more free-flowing phases. * **The Reset:** A casual, low-pressure opening to help everyone drop their city armour and ease into the room. * **The Prompts:** We gather and after some intro exercises each breakaway group size **will not exceed 6 participants**. Using uniquely developed prompt tracks, we bypass any public performance, focusing on unexpected, fun angles that naturally lower your social defences. * **The Present Element:** unless directed otherwise, phones are safely tucked away for the afternoon. For three hours, the digital noise is off so everyone can remain fully present. Instead of the usual loops (*"Yeah, keeping busy..."* or *"Just surviving the week..."*), we create a space to share real perspectives and see people without their professional masks on. ## **The details** * **When:** Sunday 21 June 2026 \| 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm\. Feel free to stay for an optional social after\. * **Where:** A handpicked space in Southwark (exact venue details unlocked immediately upon booking). * 🎟️ **Tickets:** * **Early Bird — £13** *(The Houdini Escape)* * **Standard — £15** *(The Fire Exit Escape)* * **Last Minute — £20** *(The Mr Bean Escape)* ## **What you say** > "I’m completely new to London, but after three hours here I’d already made some great mates—in fact, I still hang out regularly with one of the guys I met." — *Ben* > "It was just a massive relief to escape the humdrum daily routine and talk about something with a bit of depth." — *Jessica* > "The setup was spot on. The questions were actually really fun but still managed to show you who people really are." — *Stephen* ## **Quick Logistics** * **Can I show up solo?** Nearly everyone does. Our facilitation removes that friction the moment you walk through the door so you are brought into the fold right away. * **What's the vibe?** This feels less like an event and more like an intentional conversation among close peers—minus the corporate pitches. * **What if my plans change?** Because spaces are so limited, tickets are non-refundable. You are welcome to gift your spot to a friend—just drop us a line with their name before we kick off. **Show up curious. Leave connected.**

Columbus Comedy Improv Meetup at Gresso's!
Columbus Comedy Improv Meetup at Gresso's!
Whether you've never done improv before, or you've done it for so long you were quoted in *Truth in Comedy*, or anywhere in between, come join us! Swing by *Gresso's* for the **Columbus Improv Comedy Meetup**! The idea behind improvised comedy is to create entire scenes from scratch. A suggestion is taken from the audience and laughter is built on the spot. This can be done in game form, like *Whose Line Is It Anyway, Make Some Noise,* or *Wild 'n Out*; it can also be done in a longer way, to tell a complicated story, like *TJ & Dave*. Our meetup, which is central Ohio's longest running (and FREE!) weekly comedy event, brings the games for you to play in a safe, supportive, and compassionate environment. Afterward, many members will hang out in *Gresso's* itself and get to know each other. Not only is this a lot of fun, but you get to work on thinking faster on your feet, your public speaking, plus it's an excellent way to meet new people and build relationships that will last a lifetime, and you do that while laughing your butt off! Ask yourself if you want to join the **Columbus Improv Comedy Meetup**, and say "*Yes, And*" that you'll have a blast!
