This is the classic meetup format: let’s meet in the evening see 2 speakers and then spend some idle time chatting about what we heard. The first speaker for the first edition will be our co-organiser Florian Gilcher, speaking about “Unsafe demystified”, a gentle introduction into handing unsafe code properly. Instead of going fully into it all details of unsafe, this talk teaches you easy to digest mental frameworks to use when approaching your next unsafe code block. Supercharge Rust functions with CGP implicit arguments by Soares Chen I will give a short overview of the new implicit arguments feature for Context-Generic Programming (CGP), which enables structural typing in Rust. Some short example demos will be presented, followed by some explanation of how the feature works. **Speaker Bios** Florian Gilcher Florian Gilcher used to be part of the Rust team at several positions and served as a member of the Rust Foundation board. He is also a co-founder of the Rust Berlin meetup. Today, he’s training Rust at Ferrous Systems, a company he co-founded. Soares Chen Soares is a Rust programmer with a strong interest in functional programming, type theory, and programming language design. He is the creator of Context-Generic Programming and currently works as a Rust engineer at Tensordyne.

A 2.5 hours oil color - acrylics painting lesson. **About this course** This is a painting workshop with the goal of teaching people how to create paintings using either oil colors or acrylics. The total subject lessons consists of around **27 lessons** that last 2.5 hours each. You can join at any time during the course. On each lesson the first part will be about theory and exercise and the second one about canvas time. Each participant will have the chance to work on canvas and start making paintings as artworks. All materials are provided by us. Each lesson has a subject. We do not follow a particular order, and every lesson is actually unique and many times personalized. This means that every time the attendess will have to do something new and different. You do not have to paint on canvas and with the mentioned art materias, you can also choose to use any of your wish. Most of the observations and exercises work well with all art materials. It is suitable for beginners and or even professionals who want to rationalize the canvas painting process. **Complex Trauma Support Group** Our group is intended for survivors of complex trauma. If you are here, it’s likely that so much of who you are and what you have experienced in this life is actually invisible to most people––to family, society, coworkers, and the people who are around you. We are a peer-led group of survivors creating opportunities for ourselves and others to share our experiences, share support, and build relationships in kind community together. Survivor experiences might include: child sexual abuse, incest, child trafficking, and other experiences of people living with traumatic dissociation and complex PTSD. **What to expect at your first meeting:** Currently, we are offering a bi-monthly in person group at 2:00pm on the first and third Sunday of the month. The only criterion for joining the group is that you are a survivor of trauma wishing to have more kindness in your own life and share kindness with others, and that you agree to practice to group’s relational agreements available for view here: https://www.kindgroups.com/agreements. We ask that new people connect with us for 30 minutes on the phone or on zoom before coming to their first group, so that we can determine together that we are a good fit.
