Gentle Deep Conversations & Drinks: What changes after you find yourself?
Gentle Deep Conversations & Drinks: What changes after you find yourself?
Let’s meet on **Valentine’s Day** for a gentle, warm, and slightly unpredictable afternoon, not to talk about romantic love, but about **the connection with yourself** 💗. This meetup isn't about figuring out who you are, but about reflecting on who you are, your passions and priorities, and how things unfold over time. 🌟 What to expect A small circle of open-minded people, with tea, coffee, or food in hand, sharing reflections, philosophy, psychology, or simply ideas and inspirations that arise naturally in the moment. The topic is suggested above, and the conversation will flow organically.🪄 We’ll explore the questions step by step, from light to deeper, in a roundtable format. For example: - What’s your name, where are you from, and what are you doing in Luxembourg? - How would you describe your character? What are your strengths and weaknesses? - What are you passionate about? What puts you into a flow state? - What are the three core values that guide your life right now? - How did you come to “find yourself”? - What tends to change once you feel more settled in who you are? - How do priorities shift over time? - What becomes simpler — and what might become more complicated? - How do you continue to become yourself? - …and whatever else naturally emerges. There’s no pressure to share deeply — listening is just as welcome as speaking. ✨ 📌 Practical details 📍 Venue: Bouneweger Stuff 📅 Date: Saturday, February 14, 2026 🕒 Time: 15:00 – 17:00 👥 Group size: Up to 12 people ☕ Food & drinks: Everyone orders and pays individually (Since this is a rather specific topic, the group will stay small. If you find that you can’t attend, please cancel your spot so someone else can join.) If you enjoy authentic connection, gentle humour, openness to different perspectives, and curiosity about others — not just what they do, but who they are — you’re very welcome to join. 🫶

**⚡ AI & Coffee – In-Person Meetup in Luxembourg** Since the community has been growing, we’re hosting the next event on Sunday 15th Februara from 15h00-17h00 in Updown Bar (Downstairs) Based on the great feedback last time, feel free to bring your laptops if you’d like to show your work. People were very open to sharing approaches and projects, which sparked some truly deep conversations. Looking forward to meeting you all again, and also welcoming those who couldn’t make it last time. AI is moving so fast that it’s hard to keep up alone. The best way to make sense of it is by meeting others, exchanging ideas, and hearing fresh perspectives. That’s what this meetup is about. ☕ We’ll gather in a local café for open conversations about: * AI news and trends (what’s real, what’s hype) * Sharing projects, ideas, and feedback * Supporting each other and creating new stories * Building connections with like-minded people 👥 **Who’s welcome?** Developers, entrepreneurs, investors, mentors, students, researchers, creatives — and anyone simply curious about AI. 💡 **What to expect** * Casual atmosphere, no commitment, no pressure * The host will share small icebreakers and sparks of AI news * The rest is up to you: meet, talk, connect, and exchange 🎉 The only cost is your own coffee or drink. Bring your curiosity and an open mind — and let’s build one of the most exciting AI communities in the area.

Love and other Lies - English Stand-Up Comedy Show about Dating-Luxembourg
Love and other Lies - English Stand-Up Comedy Show about Dating-Luxembourg
A hilarious show about dating and failing, with some of the best comedians in town. We dated all the red flags, so YOU won't have to! The show is fun, playful and when the audience is up for it, it can get a bit unhinged too. Anna Ampatziani and her comedy friends gathered their crazy dating stories to give you an unexpected and very funny show that everyone can relate with. Treat yourself with an hour of laughter, while they tell you all about love, failure, and everything in between. According to those who saw her live, her stories hook you until the end, and she makes you laugh about things, you never thought you'd laugh about. The show takes place at the hidden "Salle New Jazzland" right next to the central train station. It's a cozy atmosphere with vinyls and vintage posters covering the walls. You can enjoy a cocktail or a meal à la carte. If you're coming alone, don't worry, you'll feel like you are among friends. Doors open at 7PM, show starts at 8PM Entry to the show is free with a one-drink minimum requirement.

Contra dance Feb. 21 (First Unitarian Universalist Church) note new time!
Contra dance Feb. 21 (First Unitarian Universalist Church) note new time!
# **Band: Old Possum's Menagerie; Caller: Richard Ades** Beginner lesson at 1:30, regular dancing begins at 2:00 pm NOTE THAT WE ARE TEMPORARILY DANCING IN THE AFTERNOON INSTEAD OF EVENING. Dance with us in the afternoon then you can still go out in the evening! **Sponsor: All Soles Contra and Square Dancing, First Unitarian Universalist Church, 93 W. Weisheimer Rd., Columbus OH 43214** WHAT IS CONTRA DANCING? Picture the Grand Ball scenes like you’ve seen in period films such as “Pride and Prejudice”, where the dancers are lined up in long lines, across from each other. That’s English Country Dancing, the predecessor of contra dancing. Now, add moves like “swing your partner” and “do-si-do,” like you’ve seen in square dancing. Set it to fabulous, high energy, live music with fiddles, guitars, percussion and more, alá “Riverdance.” Finally, set the whole scene down in the middle of Woodstock, with a hip, groovy atmosphere, a bit of tie-dye, and hints of counter-culture attitude. THAT’s Contra Dancing! Wear cool and comfortable clothes (you will get warm) and clean shoes that won't mark up our nice wood floor. Be sure to come for the beginner's lesson from 1:30 - 2:00, followed by dancing 2:00 - 430. All dances are taught; we will help you learn! Beginners always welcome, no need to bring a partner. Cost is $10.00 adults, $5.00 ages 12-26. Under 12 free. Free parking in church lot. Please bring your own refillable water bottle.

Free in-person event: Take Control of Your Mental Health
Free in-person event: Take Control of Your Mental Health
It’s time to take control of your mental health. How do you get rid of stress, anxiety and uncertainty? These emotions are buried deep in your reactive mind. Find out what the reactive mind is, and in the process find yourself. Have you ever suffered from a traumatic experience, a deep loss or been through a painful breakup? Has your ability to communicate suffered as a result? And after that, even though you "moved on" did you find that things were never quite the same? Have you ever looked at childhood photos, or reminisced your early life and wondered where that happiness and spark went? Are your emotions out of your own control? Have you ever felt, even if you aren’t aware of it, that possibly you are getting in your own way of your happiness and success? How does this affect your self-confidence? Find out what is at the root of all stress, anxiety, depression and self-doubt. Find out how and why you hold yourself back from achieving your goals and having the life you have dreamed of. As soon as you learn what is at the root of these unwanted conditions, you’ll see it is something you can DO something about. You will not be labeled or categorized at this MeetUp.
