If you are new to Toastmasters, we make each session interesting by following a structured schedule with numerous roles for each member, including a new theme, a word of the day, and a fun portion called Table Topics that everyone is welcome to participate in. And if you have felt intimidated by public speaking, this club is for you. St. Vladimir Toastmasters is the BEST place to practice your communication skills in a stimulating and supportive environment. Our group rocks! We have a fun, friendly, welcoming atmosphere focused on mutual support, encouragement and improving self-confidence to speak in public. If you're a guest, grab an agenda and a seat, and enjoy some good company. Participation is optional, but we encourage you so that you feel welcome and ready to participate right away. Whether you've never done improv before, or you've done it for so long you knew Del Close on a personal level, or anywhere in between, come join us! Swing by *Gresso's* for the **Columbus Improv Comedy Meetup** for some fun and games! The idea behind improv is to create entire scenes from scratch based on a suggestion from the audience. This can be done in game form, like *Whose Line Is It Anyway*, *ComedySportz*, or *Wild 'n Out*; it could also be done to tell stories, like *Middleditch and Schwartz*. Our meetup, which is central Ohio's longest running (and free!) weekly comedy event, brings the games (and occasionally different forms) for you to play in a safe, supportive, and compassionate environment. Not only is it a lot of fun, but you get to work on thinking faster on your feet, plus it's an excellent way to meet new people and make friendships that'll last a lifetime!
