🎄🎶‼️ THE ULTIMATE *CHRISTMAS* LONDON GIG MEETUP! 🎅🔥
💥 London Music Showcase — FESTIVE EDITION!
There aren’t enough Christmas emojis for this, so I’ll keep it simple: **BE THERE.**
If you’ve been to the MEET-UPS over the last 7 years, you already know the magic — so grab your friends, your foes, your office Secret Santa, kidnap your flatmate’s Christmas tree, wheel Granny out of the retirement home. Whatever it takes. She *definitely* won’t want to miss this ❄️😂🍻
—
🎁💣 Something is happening…
The best way to describe it is still what one member said:
**“Tim – It’s like freshers week, every week, but better… with bands and stuff… and now with CHRISTMAS.”**
And honestly? That’s exactly what it feels like.
For 7 amazing years this group has been the most fun we’ve ever had — and now we’re wrapping it up with tinsel, tunes, and ridiculous amounts of festive chaos.
It’s a Showcase of some of the best London bands playing *their* music — and it’s also a MEETUP, so you can enjoy the gig with a mix of regulars and newcomers. Come solo or bring friends… you’ll meet people. Look for the **MEETUP SIGN**, the Christmas hats, or just ask the Host on the door.
Top venue.
Top vibes.
Top unsigned bands.
Top-tier festive mayhem.
🔥🎅🍻🎄

**11:45AM–2:30PM (no entry after 12pm)**
**ABOUT THE WORKSHOP**
This session is rooted in the Creative Flow Dojo® approach. Whether you’re longing to meet a partner, reshape your career, take bold new steps, establish healthier routines, or simply feel more connected to yourself and your life vision, this workshop supports you in uncovering your heart-felt intentions for 2026.
**What is the Creative Flow Dojo®?**
* Creative Flow refers to that optimal body–mind state where clarity, ease, intuition and performance align.
* The Dojo is the learning space, a dedicated container for exploration, repetition, growth and mastery.
Most of us have tasted moments of “creative flow,” those sometimes rare moments when everything clicks and we feel intimately connected to the best of ourselves. This workshop explores how to enter that state consciously and with intention. And we're excited to be sharing some of the Creative Flow Dojo's unique practices with you!
Throughout the playshop, you’ll learn how to unfold the inner and outer conditions that support generativity, how to shift into a positive flow state where creativity, resilience and presence come online.
ENVISION is a space to pause, listen, and chart the year ahead with clarity.
This workshop is an anchor point at the turning of the year: a chance to name what matters, align with your deeper intentions, and step into 2026 with more confidence, focus and energy.
If you’re ready to make 2026 a year of heartfelt clarity and meaningful change, join us for ENVISION and begin shaping your next chapter with purpose.

Contra dance Dec. 20 (First Unitarian Universalist Church)
# **Band: Firefly Trace, caller Kenny Greer**
Beginner lesson at 7:30, regular dancing begins at 8:00
**Sponsor: All Soles Contra and Square Dancing, First Unitarian Universalist Church, 93 W. Weisheimer Rd., Columbus OH 43214**
WHAT IS CONTRA DANCING? Picture the Grand Ball scenes like you’ve seen in period films such as “Pride and Prejudice”, where the dancers are lined up in long lines, across from each other. That’s English Country Dancing, the predecessor of contra dancing. Now, add moves like “swing your partner” and “do-si-do,” like you’ve seen in square dancing. Set it to fabulous, high energy, live music with fiddles, guitars, percussion and more, alá “Riverdance.” Finally, set the whole scene down in the middle of Woodstock, with a hip, groovy atmosphere, a bit of tie-dye, and hints of counter-culture attitude. THAT’s Contra Dancing!
Wear cool and comfortable clothes (you will get warm) and clean shoes that won't mark up our nice wood floor.
Be sure to come for the beginner's lesson from 7:30 - 8:00, followed by dancing 8:00 - 10:30. All dances are taught; we will help you learn! Beginners always welcome, no need to bring a partner.
Cost is $10.00 adults, $5.00 ages 12-26. Under 12 free. Free parking in church lot.
Please bring your own refillable water bottle.

Speak Easy (Storytelling)
The topic for December is "Reunion"
Speak Easy: true stories, told live.
The idea is simple: an audience, an open microphone, and great stories. Hilarious, gripping, poignant- it's up to you. Audiences are invited to come to listen or come to tell as folks from all corners of Columbus offer their stories live on stage! Held at Wild Goose Creative's warm, intimate space, this night of tales occurs on the 3rd Thursday of every month. Doors open at 7:00 pm, show starts at 7:30 pm. Please arrive early if you want to tell, as we generally only have room for a limited number of tellers, and the sign-up sheet has a tendency to fill up fast.
Formed around the idea that people need stories--they're what hold and draw us together--SpeakEasy celebrates the strangeness and commonness of being human. And in a world of smartphones, Facebook, Twitter, and more . . . it gives people a real, breathing, in-person way to connect.
The night is geared for true stories of all kinds, taking the best tales told around kitchen tables, in darkened pubs, on the street corner, and at late-night parties and giving them an audience. Speak Easy is also a great outlet for performers, writers, and artists looking to share their favorite stories and perfect their skills. We strongly encourage tellers to please tell the story rather than read it so we keep within the spirit of good storytelling and stay engaged with the audience. All are welcome. Hang around after the show for a drink and build community!
