Nerds, Creatives & Dreamers
Nerds, Creatives & Dreamers
**Nerds, Creatives & Dreamers** is a small, curated gathering in Berlin for two kinds of people who almost never end up in the same room: the ones who build things with code, and the ones who build things with imagination. Developers and painters. Engineers and writers. Founders and photographers. In daily life these worlds rarely collide — here, that collision is the whole point. Just a good space, a deliberate mix of curious people, and the freedom to let the evening unfold. Come ready to be surprised by who you meet and where the evening takes you. A room full of curious humans. We’re here to socialize as human beings. And if you do exchange contacts — make it personal, not transactional. **🛠 If You Build Things** · Developers & Engineers · Designers & Product People · Founders · People Who Code for Fun **🎨 If You Create Things** · Writers & Journalists · Photographers · Artists & Painters · Anyone With a Side Obsession Our event on Luma: https://luma.com/0xehvknp?tk=vaEmcM **📝 Note:** You are welcome to attend our Friday social meetup! The event is free. The space is generously hosted for us — the only thing we ask is that you support it by buying a drink. A small gesture that keeps evenings like this possible. **🤝 Community:** This is a space built on curiosity and respect. We keep it that way — for everyone.

Creating Stories Together
Creating Stories Together
Ever thought, "I like writing, but sometimes I wish I could create stories with people instead of alone"? In this meetup we'll be taking a short creative journey together. In small groups we'll create basic character sketches together and then we'll play around with these characters in collaborative stories with a little bit of randomness and some prompting. It's going to be a mix of a lot of talking and a bit of writing. Mostly, it's going to be fun, collaborative and pretty fast-paced. Because we're building each step of this together, there's no "minimum requirement" for writing or storytelling experience. You just need to be keen to be collaborative and imaginative with other people. There's a thought-out set of guidelines to steer us for the event, so you don't have to worry about what to do and can just focus on being creative. I'll bring everything you need, so you don't need to bring anything. We'll start at **15h00 sharp -** so please get to Cafe Augusta earlier; I'll be there from 14h30. We'll be done by roughly 16h30. I'll put a little sign on the table that says "Making Stories Together". **If the weather's nice and sunny we might move the meetup outside at 15h00.** **Please only RSVP if you will definitely come.** Spaces are limited and I need to reserve a table for enough people. Please cancel your RSVP at least 48h before if you can't make it. The event will be in English.

The Story So Far: A WiA Reflection Circle
The Story So Far: A WiA Reflection Circle
A WiA Collective Wisdom Exchange At the start of this year, we gathered to look back, set intentions, and imagine the next chapter. This is the follow-up. Not a check-in. Not a progress report. A small, facilitated circle to reconnect with what you said mattered — and honestly explore what’s actually happening now. Together, we’ll explore: • What you intended at the start of this year - and what that looks like three months in • What’s surprised you, supported you, or shifted • What the next chapter needs now that you know what you know If you were at our January gathering, bring whatever you made or wrote — your word, your artifact, your intention. We’ll look at it with fresh eyes. If this is your first time, you belong here too. You’ll start where we all started: with what’s true right now. Optional art materials will be available for anyone who wants to reflect creatively alongside conversation. If you brought something home from January, you’re warmly invited to bring it back. The intention is the same as always: everyone leaves feeling more clear, more connected, and a little lighter. Space is intentionally limited to keep the experience intimate. What to Expect • A small, welcoming circle (not a large meetup) • Structured conversation so everyone has space to speak • Reflection, listening, and lived experience — not advice-giving • Optional creative reflection alongside conversation • A calm, supportive environment Who This Is For Women and underrepresented folks working in or around agile, product, technology, leadership, or organizational change — especially those looking for honest conversation and community beyond frameworks and buzzwords. Good to Know • No preparation required • If you attended in January, we invite you to bring anything you created or wrote (or something that represents your intention at the start of the year) - it’s optional but invited • Participation is invitational; listening is always welcome • Creative activities are optional

Shut Up & Write!® East Side Columbus
Shut Up & Write!® East Side Columbus
Join us for an hour of writing! We’ve discovered that it’s strikingly helpful to write with other writers. See if it’s true for you at 7:00pm on Wednesday, April 22 at Streetlight Guild. Be it a book, blog, script, essay, dissertation, resume, melody, poem or just plain work stuff, you are invited to write it with us. No one will see what you've written or give you unsolicited advice. Instead of just thinking about writing, come and get some real writing done. **SCHEDULE:** 6:45ish - Quick introductions 7:00 - Timer starts: write for 1 hour 8:00 - The End **OPTIONAL SOCIALIZING** happens before and after the writing hour. Writing is very solitary. Connecting (and sometimes even commiserating) with other writers is a cool thing. **BEING LATE IS OKAY:** just show up and get settled! If you were on time, please be willing to make room for the friendly latecomer. Happy writing & I look forward to seeing you at Streetlight Guild! **WHAT SHOULD I BRING?** Whatever you need to be able to write! You're welcome to bring earplugs/headphones if noise will bother you! **OTHER IMPORTANT DETAILS:** * **RSVP:** Please RSVP by 6:00pm the evening of the meeting. This helps me know how many to expect, and if we'll need additional space! * **COVID:** While masks are not required, please be mindful of the other writers around you and their comfort levels. * **WIFI/OUTLETS:** Outlets are limited, so please ensure your devices are charged when you come! But Streetlight Guild does have free WiFi! Yay! * **PARKING:** There is free public parking at Streetlight Guild.
