HOLDEM ON FRIDAY AND SATURDAY
My name is Bill Efremidis I am the owner of Mississauga Poker Tour. My goal in creating MPT is to create a relaxed game where you can have fun, learn, improve your skills and not be intimidated by players. We are open to all skill levels and our players are very welcoming and friendly to new arrivals. Whatever your skill level you will find fun and enjoyment at Mississauga Poker Tour.
Any questions regarding MPT please text me on my cell @ 437-225-1158 or My Manager Colin @ 647-210-7711
WE ARE STILL LOCATED AT 3550 WOLFEDALE ROAD RIGHT NEXT DOOR TO WHERE WE USED TO BE ( FORMERLY SUNNY FOODS ). YOU'LL SEE THE SIGN FUN POKER 7 PM. WE ARE NOW CALLED " TOURNAMENTS SOCIAL CLUB " AND HOPE TO CREATE A CLUB LIKE NO OTHER THAT WILL BE MULTI-CULTURAL IN NATURE THAT WILL OFFER ALL NATIONALITIES A PLACE TO PLAY CARD GAMES OF ALL KINDS.
Here is how my present game is organized.
-First and Foremost you must be at least 19 years of age or older to participate
-7 pm FUN POKER TOURNAMENT Tuesday to Saturday (closed temporarily Sunday and Monday)
* 15 minute blinds for 8 levels
* This is strictly the pot builder period
* If you want to play tight, do so, if you want to go wild, do so, rebuys are only limited to the cash in your pocket
The real game and freeze out with NO REBUYS is after this two hour period
START WITH AS LITTLE AS $10 TO WIN $$$$
THIS IS A GREAT PLACE TO PRACTICE YOUR POKER SKILLS
AT A MINIMAL RISK!
INITIALLY THERE IS A $10 COVER CHARGE
*
* Players who arrive prior to 7pm will be rewarded with 3000 chips to start
*
* Additionally more chips are available prior to the tournament starting according to your budget:
* $5 - 1500 chips
* $10 - 3000 chips
* $20 - 6000 chips
* $40 - 6000 chips but also an additional 18000 chips on the break as well as a bounty chip valued at 12000 chips or $10
*
* Optional Add-ons are available at the top of the first 8 blind levels.
($5 for 1500 chips or $10 for 3000 chips or $20 for 6000 chips)
After the first 8 levels, which basically is a pot building game, we have a freeze out game where you get 18000 chips if you bought in for $40 and the real game begins. If you pre-committed for $40 we gave you a blue bounty chip that you can cash in any time in the freeze out for 12000 chips so in reality the pre-commitment amounts to a possibility of getting 36000 chips which if bought individually would cost $120, so is a good incentive to pre-commit. The game normally ends by 1am.
Make your own deal on the final table
3550 Wolfedale rd . 2nd unit on the North side of the building. You'll see the sign that says " 7 pm FUN POKER."

CMG Gives Back: Food Distribution at CHAMPION FOOD PANTRY!
Start the New Year off right! Join us as we get together to help those in need at this CMG Gives Back event to distribute food at the Champion Food Pantry! We’ve created a great little community of Movie Group friends! Rather than see a movie this time, we’ll help “Create a better world” by helping serve people in need. Here are complete details and our plan for this event:
CHAMPION FOOD PANTRY: The Champion Food Pantry provides needed food to neighbors experiencing food insecurity. For this event, we’ll be volunteering to help with Food Distribution during client pick up times. Our group will receive on-the-spot training from some of their seasoned regular volunteers.
PLAN FOR CHAMPION FOOD PANTRY: Please arrive by 2:45pm. Our volunteer time will be from 3:00 to 6:00pm.
LOCATION & PARKING: The Champion Food Pantry is located at 1460 S. Champion Ave in Columbus. Parking is located in the lot on Frebis across from the pantry. Please enter through the door marked "Volunteers enter here” on Frebis Ave. A map has been uploaded to the photos.
IMPORTANT REMINDER: Our group will be providing the majority of the volunteers on this day so a firm RSVP count is essential. Please only sign up if you are certain you’ll be able to attend. If something unavoidable comes up, please update your RSVP no later than one week prior to the event. No shows or cancelations within 1 week of the event will mak you ineligible for future CMG Gives Back events. I appreciate your understanding as we try to ensure the agencies have the volunteers needed to provide the essential services they provide to the vulnerable population they serve.

THANK YOU: This CMG Gives Back event provides an opportunity for YOU to get involved in helping others in our community! But the benefits go well beyond the help we give to others. Volunteering can provide a wide range of personal benefits, including positive effects on mental and physical health, reduced stress/depression/anxiety, increased happiness and improved purpose, life-satisfaction and personal well-being! Plus, the opportunity to get involved, connect with others and help those in need.
PARTNER AGENCY: This event is hosted by Lutheran Social Services (LSS), which serves thousands of people in need each day in 27 Ohio counties by addressing the four core societal issues of food, shelter, safety and healing. LSS offers food through the LSS Food Pantries, housing and supportive services through LSS Faith Mission and LSS Faith Mission of Fairfield County homeless shelters, domestic violence services through LSS CHOICES for Victims of Domestic Violence, senior living and health care, affordable housing communities, and other services that uplift families and strengthen communities.
Thanks for your help and look forward to seeing you there, Dan
Board Games at Easton
Join us at Easton Town Center for a casual evening of board gaming. Play from our library or bring one of your favorites to share. We usually bring along Catan, Ticket to Ride, Cascadia, etc...
We'll be set up at the Donatos Pizza Party Room. It was free for us to reserve, but you may want to buy a drink or go in on a pizza.
Why Easton? Although there aren't any board game stores / cafes here, it's a nice area. More importantly, this event coincides with LifeTime Fitness Parent's Night Out, so our kid will get babysat. If you happen to be a member of Lifetime you too can get free babysitting and play some games.
Fun & easy way to play more tennis (read event description)
We’re still working to get more people into these Meetups, but our goal is to give PlayYourCourt members a few social tennis outings each week in addition to your practice sessions and Challenge League matches.
These Meetups are co-ed, super laid back, and all skill levels are welcome. Post your skill level and a suggested court in the comments section so we can round up as many players as we can for some tennis fun!
Also, if you’re looking to meet new practice partners or play some matches and you aren’t already in the PlayYourCourt Community, you can go here to see what we’re all about and sign up:
https://www.playyourcourt.com/tennis-community/columbus-oh/meetup/
If you love tennis, we’d love to have you! Be sure and watch the quick video that explains how everything works.
Happy hitting!

Board games at The Forge
######## NEW LOCATION #######
We are going to be at The Forge on Bethel Rd this week and until further notice!
The Forge does have a full bar and kitchen. There is no cover charge but they do request all attendees to purchase a minimum of ~$20 per person. Soft drink refills are $1 each. Please support our hosts so we can continue to provide great events for the group!
The Forge has a large library of games available for us to enjoy. Hosts and regulars will also provide numerous popular games but please bring any games you would like to teach and/or play.
Doors open at 6, and we expect gaming to be rolling by around 630. Please promptly end your games and clear out the space at 10pm when the bar closes.
We encourage socializing but do not permit disruptive behavior of any kind. Thank you for your continued commitment to providing a fun and welcoming space to veteran, newbie, and rookie gamers in the Columbus area!
Parking can be challenging. There is a parking lot behind the building that is free and easy to walk from but it's a bit hidden.
Columbus Chess Club
This is a time where players of all ages, and skill levels can gather and enjoy a nice Sunday full of Chess!
