🍷 **An intimate writing workshop in the artistic, soulful setting of _Moudi_.** 🌿 Theme of the evening: Haiku. Join us for a special creative writing session where we will explore the delicate art of haiku poetry. Together, we will: * Discover the traditional structure and rhythm (5–7–5 syllables). * Learn about seasonal references (kigo) and imagery. * Explore Japanese words and aesthetic concepts linked to haiku. * Read selected haiku and reflect on their simplicity and depth. After a few gentle warm-up exercises to spark your creativity, you will be invited to craft your own haiku. At the end of the session, those who wish to share are welcome to do so in a supportive and relaxed atmosphere. No prior writing experience is needed. Curiosity is enough. Open to Expats and Swiss folks who want to train and socialise with fellow ‘badmintonists’. Or perhaps you’d like to learn the sport and meet new people? Whether doing it for fun or fitness, the idea is to enjoy and have a great (kickass) midweek. And everyone is welcome to join us for a postgame drink or two! We will be meeting at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church for a "Fish Fry" in Marian Hall on Friday, March 27th at 5:00 PM. It might be fun for you to experience what has become a tradition on the Fridays before Easter. They will have fried fish or baked fish, French fries and Cole slaw, as well as beverages, all for $16.00 for adults. They will have other beverages and desserts available for sale, as well. We have never tried this, and sometimes there are quite a few people at these events so we hope that we will be able to find each other easily.
