Meeting @ Improving's office in Downtown Columbus, near Cosi. Parking is paid, food & drink are free! This time we're hanging out after the long winter break. We are going to look at a group-member's project used to help learn the fundamentals of Go, and if time allows, we can take a look at how we like to build Go projects using AI.

This meeting will be an open discussion of adjusting to vision loss guided by participant interests. Target audience for this group is persons who are visually impaired, especially those who have experienced recent loss, however, all are welcome, including family members and supports. AI coding tools are no longer just smart autocomplete. They can act like background teammates working in parallel. This working session will unfold in two parts. First, Lee will demonstrate how to orchestrate multiple AI agents simultaneously using GitHub Copilot. He will show how to isolate work across branches and coordinate independent tasks such as running tests, generating a UI, and building core logic using Git worktrees. In the second half, attendees will experiment together by tackling Conway’s Game of Life using parallel agent workflows. Rather than a polished demo, this will be a live coding experiment where participants are encouraged to use their own tools. You will see what works, what breaks, and what it really takes to manage concurrent AI workflows effectively in real world development. Session Abstract ### **Data Cleansing using Data Bricks** Machine Learning is highly dependent on adequate data. Not only does quantity matter, but more importantly quality. In this session we’ll cover how to build a custom automated process using Data Bricks. This will provide methods for cleaning data in a data lake using functions in Azure. \*Please note, that we will be using Microsoft Teams for the online portion of this meeting. Window functions have nothing to do with the Windows operating system but provide a “window” to a result set when used in SQL queries. They are powerful, set-based methods to view data in unexpected ways. Window functions provide easy, set-based solutions to solve some common problems: * Using running totals * Performing operations in intervals * Identifying data gaps and islands * Performing aggregates without losing detail Many people are confused by window functions and do not know how to use them properly. This session will explore window functions, how they work, and how to use them.
