Parking at the station. **Walk-in** From the station at Andermatt, follow the route alongside and on the main road (route signed) through the Urner Loch into the Schöllenen gorge, turning right before you reach the Teufelsbrücke Bridge and making for the Suvorov Memorial (1,405 m). **Diavolo via ferrata** Go across the low wall and on the wire rope to the actual start. The route rises steeply and airily over a striking rib and into stepped terrain, before moving over alternating flat rocks and grassy ledges towards the mountain. There are gripping views down into the Schöllenen gorge with the old Teufelsbrücke and its modern transport routes, which gradually shrink to toy size. There is an extended and unsecured left traverse (refer to the book of routes) taking you over to the route's grande finale: a channel, an exposed corner of rock and finally a vertical ladder, before you are standing on the edge of the Tüfelstalboden (approx. 1,860 m). Only slightly higher, there is a delightful stopping-point below the Uri flag, with a view of the jagged granite of Salbitschijen. **Descent** On a well-signed path, first taking in a slight climb over the Tüfelstalboden, and then gently downhill to the avalanche obstructions, before zig-zagging down to the barracks area at Andermatt.
