Welcome to the Friday Night Gaming meetup for Toronto Heavy Boardgamers @ Wild Wings Bar & Grill! The purpose of this event is to meet up to play board and card games of all types, from party / light games through to heavier / longer board games, and have fun while doing it! Gamers of all levels of experience are welcome! You are welcome to bring your own games to the event, or join games hosted by others. The venue is looking to set up its own library soon, so more options will be available then. **Scheduling details:** \- If you have a specific game that you would like to post for\, feel free to do so in comments\. \- If you would like to join a specific game that has already been posted\, feel free to comment on it confirming your participation\. The Board Games event is a fun, sociable and charitable event We are a fun, friendly and kind group of people mostly in our 20s, 30s and 40s. Beginners are welcome! We are a very inclusive and social group and we teach people how to play games they have not played before :) We provide a variety of 40+ board games. The games usually take 5 or 10 minutes to learn and 30 to 60 minutes to play. **Time** * Board Games Start time: 630pm * Board Games end time: 10pm * Eat / Drink/ Socialise at a nearby pub afterwards **Location** 30 Leeds St, Toronto, ON M6G 3R8 (Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Holy Protection) The entrance to the board game room is at the back of the Church. Here’s how it works: Jennifer brings her mobile app project, tells everyone that it is like Pinterest for recipes and she’d like to work on the nav bar. Paul and Chloe think Jennifer's project is fascinating, and they join the group. They gather around Jennifer’s laptop and work on the nav bar for 2 hours. Jennifer is the one typing out the code while Paul and Chloe research, brainstorm, and offer suggestions. If you’re feeling stuck on your own project or need a motivation boost, bring it to mob programming! Want to learn by watching how others code and solve problems? Join someone else’s project at this event! Oh and we love your half-done projects that you are a bit embarrassed to share.
