When was the last time you really talked to a stranger? How often do you talk with people you don’t know? Do you sometimes struggle with how to start a conversation? Inspired by encounters across different countries, we're hosting a workshop built around one question: how do you connect with someone you don't know? The workshop draws from a toolkit we're developing throughout this residency, a practical, experimental and playful guide to building connections, talking to strangers, and feeling a little less alone in the world. We'll explore games, small experiments, and the underrated power of small talk. Extensions allow developers to customize the editor with new features, integrations, and workflow improvements tailored to their needs. In this session, we’ll cover what extensions are and the different types available, including full extensions written in TypeScript or JavaScript, along with lighter-weight extensions such as color themes, language packs, language support, code snippets, and keymaps.
