Atelier collaboratif pour entrepreneurs: Codev
Atelier collaboratif pour entrepreneurs: Codev
***COMPLET. Chacun contribue, chacun grandit.
Building AI for Travel: Strategy, Systems & Agents
Building AI for Travel: Strategy, Systems & Agents
**Complementary lessons from internal productivity to customer-facing AI** AI is transforming the travel industry, but turning ideas into reliable, measurable systems in production remains hard. In this meetup, engineers and leaders from BlaBlaCar and AMEX GBT Egencia will share practical lessons on how they structure AI efforts, ship real systems, and operationalize agentic workflows—from internal platforms to customer-facing travel products. While both companies tackle similar challenges, they’ll share perspectives from different starting points: * **BlaBlaCar** will discuss its focus on **internal productivity and developer enablement**. * **AMEX GBT Egencia** will share learnings from building **customer-facing, knowledge-grounded GenAI agents**. Together, we’ll cover: * how AI initiatives are structured and measured for impact, * how agentic AI is used for both internal productivity and external user experiences, * what it takes to evaluate, orchestrate, and operate agents reliably in production. Expect concrete examples, honest trade-offs, and shared lessons from teams approaching similar problems from different angles. **Format (Hybrid)** This will be a **hybrid meetup**. If you’re around the Paris area, we strongly encourage you to join in person for discussions, networking, and pizza. Remote attendance is also possible—**RSVP to receive the Zoom link.** **Practical Information** **Date**: March 31st, 2026 🕕 **Schedule**: * 6:00 pm – Welcome & networking * 6:30 pm – Talks start * ± 9:00 pm – Pizza & drinks **📍 Location:** AMEX GBT Egencia, 11 Chemin de Bretagne, 92130 Issy-les-Moulineaux (Agora conference room) **🎯 Audience:** (ML) engineers, data scientists, AI enthusiasts, AI practitioners, leaders **🗣️ Language:** English (questions welcome in English, French, and a few other languages) 👉 RSVP early — **in-person spots are limited.** **Agenda & Talks** **Part 1 — AI Strategy: Organizing for Impact** **BlaBlaCar — Yannick HOFFSESS** In the race to “AI-everything”, a lot of companies are burning cash on demos that never leave the lab. At BlaBlaCar, we took a different route: we are treating AI integration like our carpooling model — focused on efficiency and shared resources. In this talk I will go under the hood of BlaBlaCar AI strategy. This isn't about theoretical models. It is a blueprint of how we integrated AI in our practices. I’ll share our reality: the mindset that actually matters, the projects that delivered good ROI and the hurdles that are slowing down our journey. **AMEX GBT Egencia — Bernard CHEA, Véronique BLIN-ROYER** Great AI products don’t start with a model — they start with the fundamentals that make them reliable. We’ll share how we structured and evolved our AI initiatives to move from experimentation to sustained impact: building strong data and AI platform foundations, adapting our approach for GenAI without reinventing everything, and partnering closely with Product to define success criteria upfront. We’ll also cover the governance and prioritization choices that helped us — and the lessons from what slowed us down. **Part 2 — Agentic AI: Internal and Customer-Facing Use Cases** **BlaBlaCar — Mike BENOIT, Valentin FRIES** In this talk, we’ll first break down our journey in enabling engineering teams with a tailor-made multi-agent ecosystem. How to create an orchestrator agent? Are they good at introspection? How to get the most out of your trusty IDE plugin? We’ll share how we moved beyond standard Copilot usage to significantly increase developer experience. We’ll then demonstrate how agentic tools can be leveraged internally to lift operational bottlenecks, like solving the flakiness of external test systems, assisting customer support in investigating escalations, or optimizing the cost of profile picture moderation. We’ll showcase real-world implementations that directly improve our teams’ quality of life and share how we track the tools’ efficiency to provide measurable business value. **AMEX GBT Egencia — Mohamed HAMHOUM, Riham MANSRI** We’ll share a production-grounded journey of building customer-facing GenAI support, starting with a multilingual RAG-based FAQ system deployed in 10 languages. We’ll do a candid retro on what it really takes to keep a RAG experience healthy once it’s live: defining success criteria, putting the right guardrails in place, building an evaluation approach that works across languages, and maintaining quality over time through monitoring and iterative improvements—not just one-off demos. We’ll then show how those learnings informed our move from Q&A to our first Flight Exchange AI agent in production. Using insights from real chat and live-agent sessions, we’ll explain why flight changes were the right next step, what changed when we introduced an agentic workflow, and how we scoped an initial v1 to deliver value safely while creating a feedback loop to expand capabilities. **Speakers:** **Bernard CHEA** is initially a full-stack software developer since 2005 and joined Egencia back in 2012, building the booking platform, then led the data platform and lastly the AI engineering and AI platform teams. His objective has always been to have a full end-to-end view on all aspects of the business to better serve our customers, asking the same to the teams he’s managing. Outside of work, he likes spending time with friends, a former bachata dancer – connecting to humans and not only computers. **Mika BENOIT** works as a Software Engineer at BlaBlaCar since 2021. He joined the Booking squad, creating since then the backend serving the booking flow for all the buses and trains on the platform. During his free time, Mika likes to learn new maker skill, maintain a too complicated home automation setup and play Dungeon & Dragon. **Mohamed HAMHOUM** is a Machine Learning Engineer at Amex GBT since 2024 passioned by GenAI. He has worked on turning structured search systems into intelligent, agent-driven assistants using RAG and Agentic architectures. He has also led efforts in evaluating and strengthening these systems, ensuring performance, stability, and reliability in high-stakes enterprise settings. Outside of AI, he's a big fan of board games and traveling, though he ironically forgets the names of most of the games he plays, despite being able to design agentic ai systems cross teams. **Riham MANSRI** is a Machine Learning Engineer at Amex GBT, where she develops AI solutions and machine learning models across a range of use cases since her final year R&D internship back in 2022 at Egencia. She enjoys working with advanced ML technologies and applying them to real-world problems. Most recently, her work has centred on Generative AI, spanning the design and evaluation of RAG systems, agentic AI, and the use of A2A to improve agent-to-agent communication and coordination. Outside of work, Riham enjoys movies, especially horror and thrillers, has grown into an F1 fan over the past few years, and is an enthusiastic bootcamp workout devotee. **Valentin FRIES** joined BlaBlaCar as a Senior Software Engineer in 2022 and worked since then on bootstrapping and evolving the Global Distribution System enabling train sales on the platform. Prior to that, he worked for multiple years as Software Engineer in the travel industry, in education, and infrastructure. During his free time, Valentin practices Taï Chi Chuan and likes to start new hobbies — woodworking, bass guitar — that he won't be able to invest in since he has a newborn child. **Véronique BLIN-ROYER** has been working in product management for over 15 years. She started her journey when agile practices were beginning to take root — around 2012, when agile was becoming mainstream. Since then, she had the opportunity to work across different product development teams, from front-end to back-end, always refining her craft as a product leader. Product management has always been a passion for her: “not only do I practice it daily, but I also teach it in a business school and create internal training programs to help others grow in this discipline”. This background has shaped how I approach AI Product Management today — blending rigor, agility, and a deep curiosity for how AI can transform products. **Yannick HOFFSESS** is the Head of Bus and Train Engineering at BlaBlaCar, a company he joined 4 years ago, bringing over 15 years of tech leadership experience from roles in the travel industry at Amadeus. Yannick balances his professional life with a passion for sports, van-life adventures with his family and needles.

Deep Talk / In English
Deep Talk / In English
Let's have a weekly deep talk in an intimate Parisian café, share a drink and have a good time with like-minded, lovely and chill people. ☕ We're here to sip life in a childish, simple and non-serious way. When was the last time you had a meaningful conversation? Or deepened your relationship with someone in your life? It's not easy to have a deep conversation. While small talk, which is typically casual and light-hearted, can help break the ice, it may not necessarily help you form a deep, emotional connection with someone. Whether it's with your friends, family, colleagues or romantic partners, having meaningful conversations is important for creating strong bonds. "Meaningful conversations help us understand ourselves and those around us better. They involve sharing important aspects of ourselves and actively listening, validating and connecting with others." We believe that a happy and healthy life is built on beautiful relationships and that loneliness kills us. That's it. It's not the number of friends that counts, it's the quality of the relationship. ✅ This group is adressed to : ● People who want to build deep, genuine and caring relationships in a small group that looks the same, where they feel comfortable and emotionally safe to talk emotionally and get intimate about anything in their lives. ● Simple, loving, kind, hyper/sensitive and lovely people who spend a lot of time in their bubble thinking about the meaning of life, passionate about personal development, philosophy, meaningful conversations, debates .... ⛔ Please don't subscribe if : ● You don't see yourself in the group's aims and beliefs. ● You're travelling for a short period of time and don't live or intend to live in Paris. ● You are not sure if you will be able to come, please update your status to allow others on the waiting list to join. An absence without notice will result in an irrevocable ban. Progress : ● ❗ For reservations, I'll send you a private Meetup message at least 5 hours before the meeting to confirm your reservation. If I don't receive a reply 2 hours before the meeting, I will send you a second message to let you know that you will be replaced by someone on the waitlist. ● We keep the session small, cosy and relaxed in a quiet place, prioritising regularity to encourage intimacy, connection, listening and speaking. (\~ 5/6 people) ● On arrival, if you feel comfortable, you will be suggested to choose and associate several drawn Feelings and Needs cards to express how you really feel at the moment, to talk about ourselves and communicate effectively. ● The best way to make progress is to make the conversation easy and natural, with everyone making an effort to suggest and write down what you want to talk about. You can write down your favourite topics/questions before the meeting. The meeting is participative and invite everyone if you feel comfortable being a leader and a power of suggestion. Anyway, to keep the meeting running smoothly, I'll animate the meeting to make sure the conversation doesn't get wild or boring and I wouldn't hesitate to reframe people. In case of lack of inspiration we have a lot of deep conversation question card game which can help to find interesting questions. ● (Not compulsory) After the meeting we can finish in a nearby restaurant for those who wish to relax or continue our conversation. Advice for a good moment : ● Leave your ego and mask at home, we are not here to impress anyone but to be ourselves with our strength, weakness, pride and shame. Come with an open/deep/emotional/complex thought and vulnerability. ● Ask open-ended questions and invite the other person to describe what a situation was like for them or how they felt. ● Don't hesitate to be vulnerable and share information about yourself if needed. Consider sharing personal information first to gain the other person's trust. ● Adopt an attitude of curiosity and genuine interest in what the other person is saying. Be thoughtful and try to put yourself in the other person's shoes so that you can see things from their perspective. Be truthful, caring and honest. ● Listen actively and ask follow-up questions. ● Be empathetic and offer emotional validation so that they feel seen and heard. It is forbidden to judge, but try to understand. ● ⏱ Be aware of your speaking time for Equally Speak. ● Be aware never to provoke political or religious ideologies, but to accept differences of belief. Advice on non-violent communication can be given in the meeting to learn not to unintentionally hurt anyone when requested or needed. ● Remember to maintain a safe, and benevolent environment. People who are considered to be disruptive, problematic or simply not in tune with the energy of the group will not be allowed to return. Finally, we're hug-friendly !!!

**Step into the laid-back charm of Cosy Cave Conversations**, a Parisian philosophy chat that's more relaxed than a cat in a sunbeam 🐈 🌞 Gather with a bunch of easygoing souls, share thoughts on the good life and its mysteries, enjoy a beverage, and have a good laugh. A few things to be aware of: * **Please** **don't show up without a spot** (we aim to keep it cosy and we always have a waiting list these days — check if you’re on the list or the waiting list) * If it's your first event, it's essential you **turn up early, or at the latest on time (<7pm)** so you understand how it works, what the topic is and don't interrupt the session * The **session runs from 7pm to 8:30pm** where we focus on the discussion, but don't worry, you'll have a chance to socialise, introduce yourselves and continue the chat after the session. **If you’re running late** (the curtains are closed), that’s okay, but please wait to join us in the break rather than interrupting the session. * Please read the **tips below** for a good session before coming along **How does it work?** We embrace the café-philo method — proposing intriguing topics on the night (up to 3), choosing one together, and diving into everything from consciousness, community, death and god, while managing to keep it light and easy 🦦 **Forget the stiff atmosphere**, we're all about small groups (\~10 people) and unpretentious chats with no homework required. No need for a philosophy degree, just bring your open mind and a dash of curiosity. **Join us every Wednesday 19h-20h30 at Les Acolytes** — because pondering the profound is better with good company (and a pint). See you there! 🎉 A few tips for a great session: * come with an **open and curious mind** 🧠 * **prioritise listening to others and asking questions** without interrupting or long monologues 👂 * we put a strong **emphasise on giving everyone a chance to contribute to the discussion**, so try and be aware of how much space and time you take up when speaking 🐻‍❄️ * we prioritise **intellectual accessibility**: this is not an academic group therefore we ask to keep any philosophy jargon to a minimum and instead explain any concepts in plain english 🤠 * we are an **apolitical group** that focuses on discussing and exploring philosophical ideas without endorsing or aligning with any specific political or religous ideologies. Our aim is to encourage open, unbiased dialogue centered on philosophical inquiry within a safe and respectful environment 🐥
Practical Philosophy Meetup - Paris 🇫🇷
Practical Philosophy Meetup - Paris 🇫🇷
🗺️ **\*\*\*** **Rejoignez notre [groupe Whatsapp Paris](https://chat.whatsapp.com/KkFwIL85vly3UefjyheHXh) 👈** **Suivez-nous sur [Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/practicalphilosophyclub/) 👈** **Visitez notre [site web](https://www.practicalphilosophy.club/) 👈** **✨ IF YOU ARE AN ENGLISH SPEAKER YOU ARE VERY WELCOME. 10X ORG à Paris : Org Topologies, IA et design d’organisations performantes

Humanist Program
Humanist Program
The Humanist Monthly Program is our longest running event and still a community favorite. In the old days it used to be called "Going to HCCO" and we still like to think of it as our flagship event. We will be hearing from Becca Powell, Director of Advocacy and Outreach at Unchained At Last, an organization whose mission is dedication to ending forced and child marriage in the United States through direct services and systems change. Unchained At Last's mission clearly meshes and addresses several of our Humanist Ten Commitments. Becca will educate us about an issue many of us may not be familiar with--but should be. Food and drinks will be provided at the event. Feel free to show up a little bit early to hang out and talk. Going forward our meetings will be hybrid. You can meet us in-person or attend online Join Zoom Meeting [https://us02web.zoom.us/j/87836564953?pwd=4Mi57ElZkDIFlb1fnlNwOJ0NiOK4tP.1](https://us02web.zoom.us/j/87836564953?pwd=4Mi57ElZkDIFlb1fnlNwOJ0NiOK4tP.1) Meeting ID: 878 3656 4953 Passcode: 760812 One tap mobile +19292056099,,87836564953#,,,,\*760812# US (New York) +13017158592,,87836564953#,,,,\*760812# US (Washington DC) The formal presentation will start at noon

Bring your Raspberry Pi, Arduino, microcontroller, or any other electronic project and join fellow electronics makers for a night of creativity and collaboration! This session is open forum to share your current projects—whether complete or in progress, it’s all interesting! Whether you’re deep into embedded systems, exploring new ideas, or just getting started, you’ll find a welcoming space to collaborate, share, and get inspired. **New to electronics or curious about tinkering?** You’re absolutely welcome. If you’re a beginner and want to experiment, I’ll have a couple of starter kits available so you can try things out—whether that’s blinking your first LED, putting something on a display, or experimenting with simple sensors. No pressure and no experience required—just an interest in learning and building. While we continue to pursue a more permanent venue for this Meetup, we’ll be using public library facilities based on availability. This session will be at the Worthington Park Library in the Olentangy Meeting Room.
Data & Analytics Wednesday - The Data-Driven Brand
Data & Analytics Wednesday - The Data-Driven Brand
**The Data-Driven Brand: Using Analytics to Shape Perception** Can you use analytics to improve tacos? This being CBUSDAW, we think the answer is probably “yes”, but we’re not sure how to implement or test this theory. For our April meetup we’ve got Sara Kear, CMO of Condado Tacos, to investigate this delicious question. Sara will explore how she blends quantitative data and qualitative customer feedback to shape brand positioning and drive business decisions. We all know that marketing and analytics go way beyond attribution. Sara will show how Condado uses customer insights to inform product and pricing strategy. She’ll also highlight how Condado leverages customer feedback at scale to influence operational priorities, positioning marketing as the voice of the customer across the organization. In the last 12 years Condado has gone from one location in Columbus to 52 locations across 10 states, so we’re guessing there’s more to that growth than really good guac (though the guac probably helps). Ultimately, this talk focuses on the intersection of art and science—using data to inform creativity and build a brand that resonates with customers in a measurable way. **About Our Speaker** Sara Kear is Chief Marketing Officer at Condado Tacos, where she oversees brand, restaurant design, menu and pricing strategy, off-premise including catering, and customer data strategy. Since joining in 2021, she has helped grow the brand from 19 to 52 locations while building a data-driven marketing organization focused on loyalty and customer insights. Condado has since been named to the Inc. 5000, recognized as Breakout Retailer by Chain Store Age, and consistently ranked among FastCasual’s Top 100 Movers & Shakers.
