Unfortunately no large dogs and small children are permitted on these walks.
**NOTICE of RISKS applicable for all walks:**
Please dress appropriately for weather and terrain conditions.
Only wear good sturdy shoes, with ankle support, and carry a bottle of water and necessary medication. You need to be moderately fit for this walk and able to walk for at least 8 miles. This walk is suitable for the average experienced hill walker. Expect some hills. Do not attend this walk if you do not fit that description or if you have a medical condition (especially heart and/or lung conditions) that may impact upon your capability of completing the walk.
These walks are city walks and countryside walks where all the usual risks of injury during such walks apply resulting from interactions with road traffic, joggers, cyclists, e-scooters,other members of the public, animals (farm, domestic and wild), plants (allergic reactions), uneven surfaces, including portruding tree roots and potholes and there may be low overhanging branches.
In these walks we cross busy roads, use towpaths alongside water, bridlepaths, country lanes and sometimes ill defined paths and tracks through woodland, bush and countryside. Some tracks may be muddy and slippery, and conditions may be wet and icy. The walk leader is not and does not purport to be a professional guide, or a medical professional, but is instead a like minded individual who also enjoys hill walking and who is familiar with the intended route.
Do not attend this walk unless you accept and consent to the above risks. If you require insurance for these walks then you must arrange this yourself.

Rock N Roll Showbiz Tour: Music, Radio, Theatre, Media, Film & TV + Drinks
If youāre artistic and creative ā or were always that kid who dreamed of working in exciting sexi professions of entertainment, fashion, music or the performing arts ā then this will be right up your street!
An insider showbiz and entertainment walk led by someone whoās lived inside the industry - a radio music founder, presentator and club DJ, a former Correspondent for a global News Agency bigger than the BBC, an advertising / media agency exe, a red-carpet luxury fashion brand strategist and a failed boy band muscian (I still got the spiked hair!). So you can expect stories to be told with real passion, authenticity, personality and first hand knowledge...
This 90 mins backstage wander will take you straight through Londonās creative arts & entertainment industry showbiz bloodstream. Weāre talking live broadcasting nerve centres, global pop stars, legendary stages, Hollywood hideouts, iconic comedy clubs, ad agencies that won general elections (think Nigella Lawson), recording studios, fashion designers, radio powerhouses, and the secret corners where reputations are negotiated over overpriced cocktails ā all set against the music soundtrack of a city thatās launched everything from Britpop to boybands to global club culture.
Youāll hear where the UKās biggest radio stations broke chartātoppers annd turned unknowns into global popstars, where stars of the film and stage made their name, how certain streets shaped entire genres, how comedians went from dingy basements to national treasures, and why Londonās music scene has always been the cityās loudest, messiest, most influential creative engine in the world
This free tour will unapologetically appeal to:
* **Popāculture lovers** who treat celebrity interviews and album drops like sacred texts
* **Creatives & media people** who love a bit of insider sparkle and know the difference between a PR stunt and a genuine cultural moment
* **Entertainment Culture lovers** who collect fun facts from music, film, art and can name their favourite live performance of all time
* **People working in or have a passion for films, theatre, radio, music, comedy, TV, dance, media, advertising** (**e,g M&C Saatchi)**, **performing arts** and everything in between
* Anyone craving something different and creative yet authentic, fun with just the right amount of chaos
Expect a crowd that gets excited about the things normal people pretend not to care about ā iconic ad campaigns, legendary performances, scandalous headlines, radio gossip, film magic, music history, and the beautiful mess of how culture actually gets made.
Youāll walk, youāll laugh, youāll learn things you absolutely did not expect, and youāll leave feeling like youāve unlocked a secret level of London ā the one where the stories, the scandals, and the soundtracks all collide

Prompt vs. Paintbrush
AI is changing how art is made. But when does it stop being your work and start being the machineās?
This month we're going to be doing a panel with with digital image, music, and written word artists, talking about at what point, while using AI in the creation process, does the work become not the artist creation?
We encourage audience participation during this event that will be moderated by Chris Slee.
Whether youāre deep in the field or just getting curious, come connect with others building and exploring AI in Columbus.

Humanist Program
The Humanist Monthly Program is our longest running event and still a community favorite. In the old days it used to be called "Going to HCCO" and we still like to think of it as our flagship event.
We will be hearing from Becca Powell, Director of Advocacy and Outreach at Unchained At Last, an organization whose mission is dedication to ending forced and child marriage in the United States through direct services and systems change. Unchained At Last's mission clearly meshes and addresses several of our Humanist Ten Commitments. Becca will educate us about an issue many of us may not be familiar with--but should be.
Food and drinks will be provided at the event. Feel free to show up a little bit early to hang out and talk.
Going forward our meetings will be hybrid. You can meet us in-person or attend online

Data & Analytics Wednesday - The Data-Driven Brand
**The Data-Driven Brand: Using Analytics to Shape Perception**
Can you use analytics to improve tacos? This being CBUSDAW, we think the answer is probably āyesā, but weāre not sure how to implement or test this theory.
For our April meetup weāve got Sara Kear, CMO of Condado Tacos, to investigate this delicious question. Sara will explore how she blends quantitative data and qualitative customer feedback to shape brand positioning and drive business decisions. We all know that marketing and analytics go way beyond attribution. Sara will show how Condado uses customer insights to inform product and pricing strategy.
Sheāll also highlight how Condado leverages customer feedback at scale to influence operational priorities, positioning marketing as the voice of the customer across the organization. In the last 12 years Condado has gone from one location in Columbus to 52 locations across 10 states, so weāre guessing thereās more to that growth than really good guac (though the guac probably helps).
Ultimately, this talk focuses on the intersection of art and scienceāusing data to inform creativity and build a brand that resonates with customers in a measurable way.
**About Our Speaker**
Sara Kear is Chief Marketing Officer at Condado Tacos, where she oversees brand, restaurant design, menu and pricing strategy, off-premise including catering, and customer data strategy. Since joining in 2021, she has helped grow the brand from 19 to 52 locations while building a data-driven marketing organization focused on loyalty and customer insights. Condado has since been named to the Inc. 5000, recognized as Breakout Retailer by Chain Store Age, and consistently ranked among FastCasualās Top 100 Movers & Shakers.
