Interior Design and Hospitality Networking Event
PEL Network helps you connect with the right people at luxurious locations. So you can boost your business ten fold. We welcome interior designers, architects, builders, real estate developers, entrepreneurs, investors, business leaders and professionals from various fields.
We always choose the luxurious lounges all around London so you can network in peace and focus. We make sure you feel comfortable and fulfill all of your needs. Our locations are at the heart of central london so it's easy for you to travel to and from. Food and drinks are also available at our venues.
For our event, we have reserved an area of the venue so that we can mix and mingle and meet old and new friends, new contacts, and new clients too! We encourage everyone to talk to as many people in the event as possible. That said, once you feel a certain chemistry or opportunity with someone, we encourage to talk with them on a deeper level. We forget about 90% of people after a goodnight sleep. However when we establish an emotional resonance with someone, they will remember us the next day.
Program: The evening's format is called personalized networking. No more being stuck in 10 min superficial conversations and exchanging cards or linkedin. It is designed for networking in a relaxed setting, providing an opportunity to meet fellow business leaders, entrepreneurs, and investors. We emphasize building genuine relationships on a personal level. I will be there to help with introductions and get over the barrier of anxiety when approaching someone you don't know.
How many people are attending? The venue has a capacity limit of 40 guests, and due to the popularity of our events and the unique ambiance of the location, we anticipate this event will reach full capacity quickly. We strongly advise securing your reservation early to ensure attendance. If you haven't gotten a ticket, you can pay when you arrive but it will be 50% more expensive than buying it in advance. Our events achieve success through a straightforward yet impactful strategy. A few days prior to the event, we establish a WhatsApp group for attendees interested in pre-event networking, enabling participants to arrange meetings both for the event day and beforehand. On the day of the event, you will experience a relaxing atmosphere with a hospitable and encouraging community.
Dress code: business casual (no trainers, no jeans)
Refund policy: Advance purchase tickets are offered at a discounted rate compared to those bought on the event day. Please note, these tickets are non-refundable but can be transferred to another individual of your choosing.

2. Join the members only community chats and events.
3. One free Motivational Profile Test
4. One free Sensory Personality Test

Fabric Data Warehouse with Tino Tereshko
**Fabric Data Warehouse with Tino Tereshko**
For our June meetup, we’re excited to welcome Tino Tereshko, Partner Director of Product at Microsoft, responsible for Fabric Data Warehouse.
Having previously spent several years at Google working on BigQuery, Tino later co-founded MotherDuck — the DuckDB-based SaaS analytics platform — before joining Microsoft to lead Fabric Data Warehouse. It’s fair to say Tino knows a thing or two about modern analytical databases.
Tino is visiting from Seattle and has kindly offered his time to present at our London user group. The session will include an introduction to Fabric Data Warehouse, an overview of recent developments and future direction, followed by an open “Ask Me Anything” discussion where attendees can quiz Tino on all things data warehousing, Fabric, and analytics.

**KEY PROJECT: TRADITIONALLY STITCHED AND SEWN EDGED FOOTSTOOL**
*All of our upholstery classes are for absolute beginners. It doesn’t matter which one you choose to take first. Each technique that is offered is part of all the processes that every upholsterer has to learn.*
6-week workshop. Thursday nights. 6:30pm – 9pm.
A perfect course for a beginner. Jumpstart your knowledge of traditional upholstery skills and methods.
Over six Thursday evenings, experienced upholsterers will guide you through the wonderful world of upholstery and help you build a fabulous footstool using traditional methods. You can leave your project at the centre in between classes.
Before the advent of foam in the middle of the twentieth century, the only way to make wooden seats more comfortable was to build up layers using available materials. Our small fabric footstool (above) is built from layers of woven webbing, hessian, vegetable fibre, animal hair and calico and is sewn with specialist needles and stitches. Although this method is more labour-intensive than the modern method of using foam, it is much longer lasting and preferred in more expensive pieces of furniture. This is the method used in many traditional chair seats, so once learned, you can apply this method to your own projects.
We provide everything for the workshop, from the wood frame to the set of natural beech wood legs that are included for you to paint or stain as you wish. Choose from our selection of top fabrics, or bring your own. You will need about a metre of fabric and you will not need it until the final class. The use of all tools and materials is included. We also have a selection of specialist upholstery tools and all the materials that we use in our workshops for sale at the Goodlife Centre for you to continue your new hobby at home.
Beginners welcome.
This course is run on a Thursday evening over 6 consecutive weeks. 6:30pm – 9:00pm

⋆⋆⋆
This lovely six-week evening course is another charming project from our cherished Edwardian instructional woodwork manual, ‘Carpentry for Beginners’. The projects in the book are perfect for learning basic woodwork skills and we have refined the instructions to incorporate a modern craft construction.
This classic ‘child’s stool’ is a handy ‘hop up’ you can use if you have shelves you can’t reach at home and small ones can reach the sink by standing on it. It measures 40cm x 22cm x 26cm high. We use a redwood pine wood that releases a heady and uplifting scent when cut, chiseled, and planed.
Even if you have never used any tools, our expert makers will teach you the processes you will need to take home a future heirloom along with a very special sense of satisfaction that comes with crafting by hand.
Over six evenings you will learn how to measure and mark timber accurately, use a chisel and a vintage ‘Granny’s tooth’ hand router to cut out grooves to house the legs into the sides of the stool.
By the time you have finished your useful step-up stool, you will have become familiar with many of the basic woodworking hand tools and increased your confidence to go on and do more general woodwork at home.
This course takes place over six Thursday evenings, 6.30-9.00pm. All use of tools and materials included.

London daytime testing at Waterloo
We playtest all sorts of tabletop games - strategic, silly, creative, or whatever (but not video games). Some games are almost done. Some are very early ideas. We test anything that will fit into 90 minutes.
You don't need to bring a game - we always love to have new playtesters!
Please let us know in the comments when you plan to arrive/leave and whether you are bringing a game or not. This helps us to plan the day better.
The schedule is:
10am onwards - gathering, chatting
11am sharp - playing for 90 min ('slot 1')
12:30ish - break for food/chat
1pm sharp - playing for 90 min ('slot 2')
2:30ish - break for food/chat
3pm sharp - playing for 90 min ('slot 3')
4:30ish - finish up
Often, we might hang around afterwards, to play some already-published games.
We are strict on timings, so please try to arrive a few minutes before the session to limit disruption.
You can just come for part of the day if you wish. The reason we have fixed timings for the 3 'slots' is to make it easier for folk to do so.
Designers of all levels of experience are welcome! But if it's your first time, we ask that you don't bring a game and just spend some time learning how the group works.
The group works based on reciprocation. If you expect to test your own game, make sure stay for long enough to play other games. As a general rule of thumb, you can expect to play one of your own games every third 90-minute session. So if you stay a whole day (3 sessions), you can expect to have one session to play your game(s). A good rule of thumb is that if you come all day, you will have one 90 minute session with two other playtesters in which to test your own games. It is sometimes possible to test games with more players. If your game requires 4 or more, please note that as standard you will be allocated half of a session (45 minutes).
Pre-covid, we were getting unmanageable. As a result, we may have to limit attendees. This is a free-to-use venue, and we have to be mindful that other folk want to use the same space.
Please note: This is an adults only event.
We look forward to seeing you!

Data & Analytics Wednesday - Finding Product Insights
**The Behavior Gap: Where Products Win or Lose**
Teams today have more data than ever, and yet many still struggle to understand why customers adopt, engage with, or abandon their products. Teams sprint, ship faster, and chase more signals… all while metrics stall and confidence drops. The missing piece isn’t more data. It’s often the behavioral insight between the metrics, explaining why the numbers move in the first place. Dashboards can tell you what customers did, but understanding why they did it (and how to influence what they do next) requires a deeper blend of insights. This session is about closing that gap.
Drawing from real-world experience designing and scaling products as [ZoCo Design](https://zocodesign.com/)’s CEO, [Lacey](https://www.linkedin.com/in/laceypicazo/) will share how to cut through the noise and identify the insights that actually change behavior—moving people, and moving metrics. You’ll learn:
* Why understanding customer behavior is a quant and qual challenge
* How to spot the signals that actually predict behavior change
* Where AI accelerates insight, and where it creates distraction
* How to get meaningfully closer to customers, without adding more tools
This talk reframes how to evaluate performance and identify what levers actually improve it, helping your team to make smarter bets with greater confidence. Every meaningful outcome is driven by behavior change. And when you know how to design for behavior, you stop guessing, and start building things that work.
**About Our Speaker**
[Lacey Picazo](https://www.linkedin.com/in/laceypicazo/) is the Founder and CEO of ZoCo, a healthcare product studio that turns complex, high-stakes ideas into products that drive real-world adoption. She partners with healthcare organizations to uncover critical care delivery insights, focus product strategy through behavior design, and build solutions that patients and providers actually use.
