Let's meet at Kantin, home of the Twisted Cat brewery, for a brewery tour and tasting! Whether you know loads about beer or are brand new to it, this will be a great way for you to see the brewing process up close, get to know a wide range of beer flavors, and make new friends in the process :) We'll get started at 16:00. An ink painting workshop, an ancient art practiced on rice paper or silk, which combines elegance, tradition, and artistic expression through slow and meditative gestures. We will combine 2 Autopedestre (Hesperange and Howald) as done already in the past. However, I can now finally include the new elevator in Hesperange. I am hoping for a nice view from the top. We will also do the trail in the opposite direction as last times for a change. Lunchbreak? Yes! There is a very nice and covered place on the Howald trail. The bus 412 direction Remich leaves Bonnevoie-Lycée Bouneweg PE Quai 4 at around 10:40 to the starting point (busstop Hesperange Am Keller). There is parking for cars and bikes and a veloh station. The Humanist Monthly Program is our longest running event and still a community favorite. In the old days it used to be called "Going to HCCO" and we still like to think of it as our flagship event. We will be hearing from Becca Powell, Director of Advocacy and Outreach at Unchained At Last, an organization whose mission is dedication to ending forced and child marriage in the United States through direct services and systems change. The Forge does have a full bar and kitchen. There is no cover charge but they do request all attendees to purchase a minimum of ~$20 per person. Soft drink refills are $1 each. Please support our hosts so we can continue to provide great events for the group! The Forge has a large library of games available for us to enjoy. Hosts and regulars will also provide numerous popular games but please bring any games you would like to teach and/or play. Doors open at 6, and we expect gaming to be rolling by around 630.
