**🔥 Real Rounds Real People for Surrey Locals Age Grouped — No Apps** Joining means you'll go through host-managed one-on-one rounds with Surrey people compatibility-matched and age-grouped, while a host keeps the rounds comfortable. Before the event, a personality questionnaire is built into the sign-up — your personality data from the quiz to line up well-matched Surrey people for your rounds, making every round feel more natural from the first minute. After the session closes, we share who chose whom — without any awkward one-way messages — and you follow up whenever it suits you. **Register by age group:** - **Ages 18-32** → [REGISTER HERE](https://tempodating.com/product?productId=537.0&productType=onlineSpeedDating&city=Surrey&groupurlname=sparking-lasting-ties-through-outdoor-socials&ar=18-32&face_v=6.0) - **Ages 30-46** → [REGISTER HERE](https://tempodating.com/product?productId=537.0&productType=onlineSpeedDating&city=Surrey&groupurlname=sparking-lasting-ties-through-outdoor-socials&ar=30-46&face_v=6.0) - **Ages 40-58** → [REGISTER HERE](https://tempodating.com/product?productId=537.0&productType=onlineSpeedDating&city=Surrey&groupurlname=sparking-lasting-ties-through-outdoor-socials&ar=40-58&face_v=6.0) - **Ages 55+** → [REGISTER HERE](https://tempodating.com/product?productId=537.0&productType=onlineSpeedDating&city=Surrey&groupurlname=sparking-lasting-ties-through-outdoor-socials&ar=55+&face_v=6.0) **⚠️ Important:** An rsvp here alone does not secure your place, so select your age range link above, fill in the registration, and answer the personality quiz — registration closes once spots fill so act fast, and only the combination of both confirms your attendance. --- **Who shows up:** - Those living in Surrey wanting to escape matches that fade out before meeting and want real chemistry over profile photos. - Daters across Surrey moving on from swiping with nothing to show for it and want real chemistry over profile photos. - First-timers locally in Surrey who are tired of conversations that fizzle before a first date and are ready for something that feels natural. - People from Surrey getting away from apps that waste evenings for no return and want real chemistry over profile photos. - Individuals from the Surrey area fed up with digital dating that never converts to anything real and value real conversation over curated profiles. **Details** - **Format:** Personality-matched in a hosted Zoom session centred on focused one-on-one video dates, sorted to your age group and personality profile in advance. - **Where:** Entirely virtual — on whatever device you prefer, all tech requirements are camera mic and Wi-Fi, and you can pick whatever quiet spot works for you. - **Host:** A welcoming host runs the whole show so you do not have to think about format, freeing you up to be fully present in each round — every detail of the evening is managed for you. - **Vibe:** Genuinely enjoyable one-on-one chats with Surrey area singles who chose to be here, and it never feels forced or awkward. - **Duration:** Runs for roughly 60-90 minutes from first round to last, with most rounds feeling short. **How it works** 1. **Confirm your place** – via the registration link above for your bracket, then answer the short personality questions, as without this your RSVP holds nothing. 2. **Join the video call** – by opening the Zoom link at the event start, phone computer or tablet — whatever you prefer, and from that moment the host runs the whole show. 3. **Rotate through dates** – host-guided one-on-one rounds with personality-matched Surrey locals in your group, with the host keeping everything comfortable and on schedule, since the quiz results put the right people in your rounds. 4. **Find your matches** – mutual matches are sent to you privately after the event ends, with mutual-only sharing meaning no awkward one-sided messages, and you reach out whenever you feel ready. ⭐ *"This actually works — ended up having proper conversations"* – anonymous Surrey attendee --- ✨ It starts with one registration — register via your age group link and the host takes it from there before spots go. See you on the other side. 🥰 ✨
Drunken Philosophy: What’s up with all the AI hate?
Drunken Philosophy: What’s up with all the AI hate?
**Welcome to Drunken Philosophy** a casual, curious social discussion **Optional topic for this meetup: What's up with all the AI hate?** A recent survey found that 74% of Americans have a negative view of AI, and I want to know why. Come out and debate whether AI is good or bad. My hot take: a labor-saving tool that could potentially help cure cancer gets called dangerous because it might raise unemployment or cause a speculative investment bubble, that tells you a lot more about capitalism and the economic system we live under than it does about the tool itself. As a computer programmer, I think AI is a wonderful tool that has increased my productivity by at least an order of magnitude. I'd go so far as to say Claude Code is the best tool I have ever used. Debate me and name a better one. Is AI potentially dangerous? Yes, but so are a lot of tools. Chainsaws. Steam engines (early ones would occasionally explode and kill everyone in the room). Do you think cavemen sat around debating whether fire could be used as a weapon or for self-harm, and decided not to discover it? I have two friends who hate AI for opposite reasons: one thinks it's a fad and not useful, and the other thinks it's going to take over everything and cause human extinction. Come out tonight, have a friendly debate, and make some friends. No lectures. Friendly crowd. Drop in for one drink and stay if it's fun.
