👉 **RSVP now!** Die Plätze sind begrenzt, also melde dich bitte an.
Urban evening Photo Walk - 13a bus route
Urban evening Photo Walk - 13a bus route
Join me for an evening photo walk through the city :) The first 10 minutes will be used for the greeting and general info, then we will start at Basilica Maria Treu and follow the 13a bus route south to Haus des Meeres. There are a lot of restaurants and cafes on the way which coupled with nice architecture could make for some good photos. At the end of the walk everyone is welcome to join for a warm drink at a nearby cafe. The event is free of charge but will be limited to max 10 people as it is meant as an opportunity to connect. It is suitable for all regardless of age/level/gear. If you signed up but cannot make it please cancel at least a day in advance so people on the waitlist get a place. note: the organizers of this group have recently changed - instead of Dietmar, Urska will be running the events - hopefully the value of the group and these events remains

🎉 Mobileheads is turning 1!
One year ago, we kicked off a small idea — a meetup for mobile devs to connect, share, and learn from each other. Table de conversation en francais @ Café Merkur
Table de conversation en francais @ Café Merkur
WP Meetup Vienna (February) - WordPress & Beyond 🚀
WP Meetup Vienna (February) - WordPress & Beyond 🚀
Join us for an evening of fresh perspectives on Content Management Systems beyond the WordPress bubble. This Meetup is all about broadening horizons. Looking at how different CMS approach common problems, what they do particularly well (or not so well), and what we as WordPress professionals can learn from them. Instead of chasing a single “best CMS,” we’ll explore why different projects need different tools and how ideas from other ecosystems can inspire better solutions in our daily WordPress work. Expect practical insights, honest comparisons, and plenty of room for discussion. 🕡 **18:30 live**, SAE Vienna, Kaisersaal ⏱️ **18:45 – Thomas Kräftner** **“An Inspirational Tour Through Other CMS”** The web is as diverse as the Content Management Systems behind it. Rather than attempting yet another exhaustive CMS comparison or ranking, Thomas takes a more pragmatic and refreshing approach: a curated tour through selected aspects, strengths, and weaknesses of different systems. In this fast-paced “speed run,” we’ll look at WordPress, Drupal, Neos, and Kirby, each representing different philosophies and solutions to familiar challenges. Along the way, Thomas highlights what we can take back into our own WordPress projects. The talk is intentionally subjective and designed to spark discussion, so bring your own experiences and opinions from the CMS world. Slides in German: [https://kraftner.com/talks/cms-streifzug/](https://kraftner.com/talks/cms-streifzug/) Slides in English: [https://kraftner.com/talks/cms-tour/](https://kraftner.com/talks/cms-tour/) [Thomas Kräftner](https://kraftner.com/) is a freelance web developer with 18+ years of professional experience and a strong focus on WordPress. With a background in Information Design, he combines technical expertise with a deep understanding of content, accessibility, and visual clarity. Active in the WordPress community in Vienna, Thomas has spoken at WordCamps and previously co-organized both the WP Vienna Meetup and WordCamp Vienna. ⏱️ **19:30 – Gernot Ploiner** **TYPO3: A Practical Introduction to an Enterprise-Ready CMS** With more than 20 years of hands-on experience, [Gernot](https://www.webprofil.at) introduces TYPO3 as a powerful and reliable CMS for long-term, scalable web projects. He explains why TYPO3 is often the CMS of choice for enterprise environments and complex requirements. The talk covers key strengths such as the dedicated TYPO3 Security Team, advanced multilingual features, editorial workflows with workspaces, strong performance, and an editor-friendly backend. From a developer’s perspective, Gernot also gives insights into modern TYPO3 development: local setups with DDEV, clean object-oriented architectures using Extbase, Symfony-based concepts, and building custom extensions for professional projects. Whether you’re a WordPress developer, agency owner, or simply curious about how other CMS solve familiar problems, this Meetup will give you new ideas, useful comparisons, and plenty of inspiration—plus good conversations with fellow web folks. Social Media Creators & Influencers Meetup Vienna #8
Social Media Creators & Influencers Meetup Vienna #8
Hi there, fellow social media creators, influencers, brands and all people interested in Vienna. Welcome to our meetup! We at Social Rising organize regular events for you to connect, learn and grow, not only here but all over the world! We invite you to meet and engage in conversations with like-minded people both locally and in our worldwide community! **First things first!:** * The best way to stay informed about our events is to join our newsletter at socialrising.com/join. * If you're a creator with a significant audience, you will benefit the most from this newsletter at socialrising.com/join. You will be invited to public and exclusive events, and we will reach out to you with partner and job opportunities. * If you want to help us creating our events: We're looking for 1-2 volunteers per event! Let us know if you're interested through this form: https://socialrising.com/volunteer - we'll then reach out if we need you. **Lightning Talk** This time, we will be joined by Sara Lombardo, the creator behind [@mypeachnotes](https://www.instagram.com/mypeachnotes/), who believes that virality is overrated and creators don’t need it to be successful. Sara managed to build an audience of 300K+ across different platforms (Instagram: 112K, TikTok: 108K, YouTube: 94K) by focusing on content that goes beyond trends and resonates with people. **What do participants & speakers think?** "Matteo's meetups are incredible. Every time I come, I meet people who genuinely change my life. He somehow manages to get everyone involved, and the overall vibe is so nice. Can't wait for the next one!" - Dom (tech_wizzdom) "Matteo, thanks for the event yesterday. Its much better than other social media events that I have attended. Good work! So thanks!" Joe (via a Google Review) "What a fantastic group of people! If you are looking to connect with top-shelf digital communicators, Social Rising's meetups are perfect for that."- Oliver Aust - Founder, Investor, Bestselling Author, Podcast Host. "Matteo put on a killer event. Normally events are full of trivial, uncomfortable conversations, but I love Social Rising events, cool people and discussion points, and great locations", Digital Nomad Lifestyle. **Our story** In 2019 we started organizing meetups for creators & influencer in Berlin, and we became big fans of the people we brought together and the topics that were discussed. So we expanded to London early 2020, and as the pandemic started, we became a home for creators worldwide. Now, in 2023, we do our events in multiple cities and countries and are expanding to more and more countries. Wherever we are, influencers & creators connect, learn, and grow. Sometimes creators join us and share insights in lightning talks, and each time we all go home with new, interesting connections! **Virtual events** We have regular virtual meetups. Join your local [meetup](https://socialrising.com/meetup-groups) group or follow our [Eventbrite](https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/o/social-rising-virtual-34048034485) organizer dedicated to virtual events. **What is this meetup for?** * Get to know new people in the social media space * Share experiences with like-minded people * Listen to inspiring lightning talks * Brainstorm and share ideas with fellow creators * Motivating each other * Finding opportunities to work together * Discuss how to approach and reach chosen target groups * Sometimes we have a product/brand presenting how they can support you * ... and of course: have a good time and grab a drink together! **Your host** Matteo Savio, CEO of [Social Rising](https://socialrising.com/) & [Digital Ideas](https://digitalideas.io/), hosts the event. As a digital marketer, he is consulting in B2B marketing & sales, and started Social Rising in 2019 as became fascinated by the topics and amazing people that showed up. He's enthusiastic ever since! Connect with him beforehand on [LinkedIn](https://www.linkedin.com/in/matteosavio/)! **What next?** * Do you have experiences in growing and/or monetizing on Social Media? Science and Philosophy Discussion Table
Science and Philosophy Discussion Table
This is a group for meeting new people, eating brunch, and having discussions about science, life, philosophy, politics, and people. Anybody is free to join, and we charge no fees. This discussion group aims to have the absolute minimal level of structure necessary to ensure the conversation remains engaging to the majority of people present. In particular, we \*don't\* have fixed order of speaking or timed statements. So far, the balance we've struck is enforcing hand raising when conversation gets intense in order to minimize interruption, and to give the chair (me!) the power to occasionally call a snap election on the conversation topic.

February George’s Bookclub for Entrepreneurs: Think and Grow Rich by N. Hill
February George’s Bookclub for Entrepreneurs: Think and Grow Rich by N. Hill
Hi! After the first introductory event, I am looking forward to start reading "**Think and Grow Rich"** by Napoleon Hill, one of the most famous books about money. And also one of the most misunderstood. Most people read it. Nod. Feel inspired. Then go back to the same life. Not because the book is weak — but because they read it alone. At our meetup, we do the opposite. We question the ideas. Challenge the assumptions. Test what actually works in real life. If you’re tired of being *“inspired in private”* and unchanged in reality, this conversation is for you. **Meeting agenda:** * **Goals are cheap.** Only the ones that restructure your calendar deserve to be taken seriously. * **Napoleon Hill assumes belief precedes action.** What if belief is mostly a side effect of doing uncomfortable things first? * **Opportunity is abundant.** Indecision is socially acceptable cowardice. Agree or disagree? You can find a good summary of the book here. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pEvK7OPSYZo

Friday Night at Junto - French Conversation Group
Friday Night at Junto - French Conversation Group
Venez nombreux! A tres bientot \-\-\-\- Hello everyone! It’s been a long time since we’ve had a Friday night French meetup. I suggest that we meet at the Junto Hotel in Columbus this coming Friday, 13 February 2026 at 7PM. There’s a great spot with both outdoor and indoor areas, a café (which closes at 7 p.m., come a bit early if that interests you), a restaurant, and a bar. Parking is paid and is located right across from the science museum called COSI. There is additional free and paid street parking around at varying distances. It’s a bit expensive, but you don’t have to buy anything since the area is really just a large hotel lobby. It's nice though. I spoke with management, and they’re happy to welcome us, though there’s no specific space reserved just for us. It’ll start at 7 p.m. and go until whenever. I’d like this to become a monthly event, and if this space doesn’t suit us well, we can discuss other options. Speaking and understanding French well is ideal but there may be learners there as well. I’m Brandon. I’ll be wearing a blue and white cap that says “Québec.” Come find us.
Data & Analytics Wednesday - Compensation Data
Data & Analytics Wednesday - Compensation Data
**People Analytics 101: Making Sense of Compensation Data** Compensation data is one of the most widely used and widely misunderstood forms of people analytics. The session will cover where compensation data comes from, including market pricing data, internal payroll data, and benchmarking sources, and how companies think about structuring and analyzing that information. We will explore how compensation data is leveraged to set salary ranges, manage internal equity, support hiring and retention, and align pay with business strategy. A portion of the session will address common data challenges and limitations, such as market noise, inconsistent job matching, and incomplete datasets, while keeping the primary focus on practical use rather than technical depth. The session will also look ahead at where the space is going, including the growing impact of pay transparency laws, expanding pay equity requirements, and emerging regulations in the US and Europe that require organizations to report on gender and pay gaps. The goal is to give attendees a clear mental model for how compensation analytics works today and why getting it right is becoming increasingly critical. (note: we are back at Rev1 this month!) **About Our Speaker** [Alex Moore](https://www.linkedin.com/in/alexscottmoore/) is the founder of [Moore Cooperative](https://moorecooperative.com/), where he advises organizations on compensation strategy, pay equity, and people analytics. His work focuses on helping organizations like the Ohio Supreme Court design, analyze, and communicate compensation systems that are data-informed, defensible, and aligned with organizational goals. Alex lives in Granville, Ohio and has three little kiddos. More info at [cbusdaw.com](https://cbusdaw.com)
