Hi everyone, On **Saturday, April 4**, 2026, I’m planning a beautiful spring hike in the **UNESCO-Region Wachau** from **Paudorf** to the **Mammoth trees** (Sequoia trees, Redwood trees) and (hopefully) **blooming apricot tree gardens** near Angern to our final destination to **Göttweig abbey** (Stift Göttweig) in **Furth bei Göttweig**. This hike is all about walking, wide views, and enjoying the landscape together with plenty of time for conversation, short breaks, and simply being outdoors. **Highlights** 🌄Wide Wachau views combined with peaceful vineyard and apricot garden scenery 🏰Historic landmark Stift Göttweig/Göttweig Abbey 🌸Late March to mid-April is peak season for the famous Wachau Marillenblüte (apricot blossoms).
