GRILLZ LAB INTRO TO CUSTOM GRILLZ JEWELLERY Hosted by Marie Grillz This hands on workshop introduces the creative process behind custom grillz as a form of wearable jewellery sculpture. Participants will learn how artists design and prototype grillz using wax-carving techniques commonly used in jewellery manufacturing. The session focuses on wax material experimentation and translating a personal aesthetic into a wearable metal object. You will be working on a pre-made dental plaster impression provided for practice. If you wish to create a personal impression of your own teeth, you may choose to take a mould of your own teeth prior to the workshop. * This must be performed by a professional dentist. **DC Service Jam is back.** This March, SD:DC is hosting the DC edition of Global Service Jam 2026 week. We are part of a worldwide movement of designers, strategists, and curious minds who come together to build real service concepts from scratch. From **Saturday March 14 to Sunday March 15**, you'll work in a small team around a secret theme revealed at kick-off. No briefs, no client. Just hands-on design, rapid prototyping, and plenty of Post-its. This year we're bringing AI into the mix.
