ReactJS Barcelona - June 2026
June Meetup is here! Let's gooo! Do you want to learn more about Micro Frontends? Then we have some experts in the house! Check it out 👇 ────────── **18:30: Welcome** Grab a seat until everybody arrives! **18:45 Intro by Hosts Neciu Dan & Erik Grijzen** **19:00 8 Years of Micro Frontends @ New Relic: Lessons Learned** Speaker: **Erik Grijzen, Principal Software Engineer** New Relic started implementing a Micro Frontend architecture about eight years ago, before the concept of Micro Frontends even existed as an architectural pattern. Over the years, we’ve learned hard-won lessons on designing, scaling, and maintaining Micro Frontends. We will go over some of the most important architectural decisions that need to be considered and see how they have affected us. We will also cover some of the most common anti-patterns and discuss practical strategies to avoid them, illustrated with real-world examples. **19:30** **Developing a micro-frontends open source framework** Speaker: **Natalia Venditto, Engineer and hands-on architect at Adobe** In this talk, I will talk about the technical challenges of building and maintaining an open source framework. What features we have prioritized while using it and solving real life problems, how we have monkey patched the browser to work on top of the web platform and make it agnostic and how we are working to port some of those features as standards **19:50: Drinks and networking!** Do you want to talk at this meetup? Reach out to Dan Neciu [on LinkedIn](https://www.linkedin.com/in/neciudan/) And please help us spread the news and grow the community: **20:55 Meetup finished** **(FOR EARLY ACCESS: WE ALWAYS POST FIRST ON SOCIAL MEDIA)** [Twitter(X)](https://x.com/ReactJsBCN) [BlueSky](https://bsky.app/profile/reactbarcelona.bsky.social) [LinkedIn](https://www.linkedin.com/company/reactjs-barcelona/) [Instagram](https://www.instagram.com/reactjs_barcelona/) ────────── **Sponsors:** **New Relic** New Relic arms businesses with the trust and confidence required to thrive in the AI era. 🍺 Agentic Coding Meetup — Devs & Drinks
🍺 Agentic Coding Meetup — Devs & Drinks
No slides. No speaker. No agenda. Just developers talking shop over a cold one. This is an informal gathering for engineers, founders, and builders who are deep in the agentic coding trenches — using tools like Cursor, Windsurf, Claude Code, OpenCode, or rolling their own agent pipelines. Come swap what's actually working, what blew up in production, and what you're excited about right now. We'll be at Barcelona, and the format is simple: show up, grab a drink, and share what you know. Bring a laptop if you want to show something, but it's not required. WhatsApp Group: https://chat.whatsapp.com/GVS0bHMPIzID3Ch9lt6YsU?mode=gi_t **What we talk about (but not limited to):** \*Agentic coding workflows and tooling * Prompt engineering & context engineering in practice \*Multi-agent architectures and orchestration * AI-native product building \*What's broken in the ecosystem and how you're working around it **Who should come:** Developers, technical founders, and AI engineers who build with (or on top of) LLMs. All levels welcome — senior devs with war stories and curious beginners both make the conversation better. **Format:** Open conversation, round-table style. Everyone teaches, everyone learns.

BuildStream and KDE
Aleix Pol, president of [KDE e.V.](https://ev.kde.org/) will talk about [BuildStream](https://buildstream.build/), a mechanism to build operating systems and all sorts of packages like that. We will discuss why it's interesting, what can it do and why have I been spending time seeing to [KDE Linux](https://linux.kde.org/) using it as it's build tool. After this presentation you'll also know how to build your operating system and hopefully be able to contribute to a bunch more! 📅 **Date:** 11 June ⏰ **Start time:** 19:30 h 📍 **Location:** [Akasha Hub](https://maps.app.goo.gl/CZE8q8uaag8UgnRCA) \- Carrer de la Verneda\, 19\, Nau 1 · Barcelona

**Important:** * Please sign up on the following website to complete your sign up: [https://uxdx.com/community/community-barcelona-2026-06-11/](https://uxdx.com/community/community-barcelona-2026-06-11/) An in-person series of meetups focused on helping product & engineering teams in Copenhagen bridge the gap between UX, Product, Design, and Dev, and to build better products faster, together. **Agenda:** **18:30 - 19:00** Opening and registration **19:00 - 19:15** Welcome from the UXDX Ambassadors and Preply **19:15 - 19:45** Talk 1: Oana Stroe, Product Design Lead at Hubtype **19:50 - 20:15** Talk 2: Mert Tas, Principal Product Manager at Vista **20:30 - 21:00** Closing and networking ## **✨ Talks** **Talk by Oana Stroe -** [The Silo is Dead. Long Live the Silo.](https://uxdx.com/session/the-silo-is-dead-long-live-the-silo/) This talk explores how AI is reshaping ownership, craft and collaboration in cross-functional teams, and why the specialists who feel most threatened might actually be the ones who matter most. Expect honest observations and some uncomfortable questions. **Talk by Mert Tas -** [AI, Collaboration, and Hidden Tradeoffs of Product Teams](https://uxdx.com/session/ai-collaboration-and-hidden-tradeoffs-of-product-teams/) Generative AI is changing how product, design, and engineering teams work together, from how ideas are explored to how decisions are discussed and documented. In this session, Mert will share practical experiences from working on complex design and personalization products at Vistaprint: where AI genuinely improves quality, shared context, and speed, and where it risks creating shallow alignment, coordination overhead, or endless artifact generation instead of deeper thinking. The session is intended less as a prescription and more as an honest reflection on the new collaboration tradeoffs many teams are already starting to feel. ## **About UXDX** UXDX helps teams shift from project based delivery to empowered, autonomous product teams. We host global conferences and over 150 free community events each year, bringing together UX, Product, Design and Development practitioners to share how real teams build better products faster.
