This is our weekly event! ----------------- Hey Badminton Enthusiasts! This meet-up is for all levels: beginners, intermediates and experts. Everyone is welcome to join, test their skills and have some fun together! The host will reserve courts in advance, that means please only register if you really plan to come (or cancel at least 24 hours before the event starts). The fee for this event is 12€ (for the 2 hours). If you plan on paying in cash, please bring the exact amount as the host might not have any change available. We are meeting at about 10:25 am near the reception by the lounge area (next to the courts). Come a bit earlier so you have time to change into workout/sports clothes. The locker rooms are free to use, but for the men lockers you need a padlock - or you can also take your bag of clothes upstairs to the courts if you do not have a padlock. Also, bring clean indoor sports shoes, your racket and a water bottle with you. There is a drinking fountain available if you need to replenish your bottle. If you do not have a racket, it is possible to rent rackets from the club, if necessary (3€). Sometimes the host or other members have spare rackets - please ask in the comment section below! If you are joining our events for the first time, WELCOME! Let the host know that you are new and they will find a place for you. Don't worry, we are an open and friendly group. **Weekly Sunday cold plunge in the Danube.** Come with us for a swim or just a dip in the Danube to test your limits and build your resilience to cold! **The water is going to be** around **5°C or a bit less.** (We're in single digits! 🥶) **Bring your swimsuit, towel, and warm clothes.** If you want, you can also bring extras like warm water (to pour over your feet after the dip to warm up faster), tea, snacks, water shoes, hat — anything that makes the experience more comfortable or fun for you and others! **The approximate timeline:** 11:00 meeting at the Danube shore 11:10 [breathing exercise](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tybOi4hjZFQ) (voluntary, possible to skip, but recommended) 11:20 going into water 11:40 warming up & chatting 12:00 end We’ve been meeting for a couple of years, and our community is growing: our **WhatsApp group has around 100 members**. We play 3 hours. Usually 6vs6 + player from each side that changes while rotating. First 15-20 minutes is warm-up and practice, then we play.
Number of courts: 1. 📍Location: School in Prizgasse 3, 1220 Wien. The entrance to the court is located on the left side of the main entrance. So if you stay facing the main entrance, you need to turn left, walk till the corner of the building, turn right and walk till you see the glass door. When you enter the glass door - you skip first court on the left, continue going straight. Then you will have one more glass door - and then on the left side you will find the wardrobe for guys, next one is for girls. Enter and you will see the court.  💪 Level: intermediate and higher. Intermediate means that you have experience playing indoor volleyball and you can pass the ball correctly.

There is no cover charge but they do request all attendees to purchase a minimum of ~$20 per person. Soft drink refills are $1 each. Please support our hosts so we can continue to provide great events for the group! The Forge has a large library of games available for us to enjoy. Hosts and regulars will also provide numerous popular games but please bring any games you would like to teach and/or play. Doors open at 6, and we expect gaming to be rolling by around 630. Please promptly end your games and clear out the space at 10pm when the bar closes. We encourage socializing but do not permit disruptive behavior of any kind. There is a parking lot behind the building that is free and easy to walk from but it's a bit hidden.
