Spiritual Walk in the Botanic Gardens
If you have an interest in spiritual topics like Dreams, Past Lives, or Soul Travel, then join other like-hearted Souls in conversation and some exercise as we take a spiritual walk around the Botanic Gardens.
**The walk**
We’ll walk along the many paths in the gardens which lead through many exotic plants and trees. There are also the glasshouses which house lots of tropical plants. The walk will be easy and pretty straightforward. Suitable for all ages and all fitness levels.
While walking we will try to be present in the moment, be mindful of our thoughts, observe what is presented to us and what comes into our awareness.
We'd love to hear your stories and any insights you’d like to share.
**Meeting Point**
Please see the photo below from Google maps for the location of our meeting point, which is around the patio area between the Cafe, the Alpine House and the Teak House.
**Food**
There is a cafe in the Gardens but because it is a public holiday, you can expect it to be busy. You can bring some food for a picnic, and for sharing if you’re feeling generous. There are a number of areas in the Gardens suitable for picnics.
**How to get there**
Please check the [Dublin Bus](http://www.dublinbus.ie/) website (http://www.dublinbus.ie/) for all updates on their services. Below are the routes which pass close to the Botanic Gardens.
**4, 9, 83, 155,** E1, E2.
All are welcome!
Looking forward to seeing you soon.
Dun Laoghaire Bank Holiday Walking Tour - Explore History and Make Friends!
***Join us on a history-focused walking tour of Dun Laoghaire and Sandycove!***
Hello! My name is Marina Boyle and I'm a local tour guide excited to share my favourite part of Dublin with you. This is history focused guided tour that will take you through beautiful Dun Laoghaire, Glasthule, and Sandycove. It is suitable for both locals and those new to the area, or anyone who wants to learn and make friends at the same time!
We'll start at Dun Laoghaire DART station and visit landmarks like the East Pier, Dun Laoghaire Baths, the Forty Foot, and the James Joyce Tower Museum. All the way along I'll be explaining the local history, with time for guests to chat and make connections between stops. Come and see what makes the coast of Dublin so captivating!
This event will start at 11 am sharp and last approximately 2 hours. Please note that this is a tip-based tour, and most guests choose to contribute around €5–€10 per person (or more if the tour was unforgettable 😄). The tour will include entry into the James Joyce Museum, including access to the roof for 360 degree views of Dublin.
I am looking forward to meeting you!

Acoustic night with Meaghan&Rob
Join us at the Wild Duck on the 1st of June for a relaxed evening of unplugged music, where we share songs, laughs and a love for all things musical.
Whether you're a seasoned performer or stepping out of your bedroom with your first song, this is a space to play, listen, and connect.
**New to performing?**
We’re a healthy mix of people at various stages of their amateur music journey but we want to create space that is especially welcoming to first-time performers. If you're new to sharing music, know that this is a no-pressure, supportive space where beginners are encouraged and we value having fun over perfection!
**How it works:**
* It’s unplugged and intimate. We go around in a song circle - each person gets a turn to play one song per round. You’re welcome to sit out a round if you prefer.
* Singers welcome - no instrument needed. Go acappella or ask for accompaniment.
* Covers, originals, instrumentals - all styles welcome.
**A few practical notes:**
* RSVP is essential in order to perform.
* Plus one’s are welcome RSVP only required for musicians.
* Can’t make it? Please update your RSVP so someone else can join.
* Respect the performers: stay quiet during songs, and use breaks between rounds to grab a drink or step out.
* The venue is free so we encourage you to support the bar by grabbing a drink.
* The room we will be in is semi-private - patrons may wander in and listen from the back of the room.
**Tips jar on the night
**
This helps cover the Meetup fee that hosts pay out of pocket (around €17/month). No pressure to contribute (but it helps keep things running)

Break Up With What Broke You, Columbus, Ohio
On a list of "My Favorite Things", few people would put a "break up" in their top ten. More often, these words evoke feelings of shame, embarrassment, poor choices, and bad or sad endings. Before the new and beautiful can be built, the old, broken, and unnecessary must be cleared away. This process can be painful, but it is good, needful, and can produce wonderful results when done wisely and well.
How does one break free from anxiety, comparison, or shame? Christian Bevere points people to the freedom God desires for His children, as well as giving practical ideas on how to shed both unhealthy baggage and the lies that seek to leave us anchored to past failure. Drawing from the Bible, ***Break Up With What Broke You*** clearly shows that what Satan would seek to use for evil, God uses for good and to accomplish His purposes.
Join us **Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at 6:30 pm**, when we gather at **True Food Kitchen, Easton Town Center, Columbus**. We'd love to see you there!
