Details: SPACE: Four participant sewing class, plus the host, held in a comfortable, spacious living room , with double doors beside us, as we work. CLASS CONTENT: Learn to use a sewing machine (maybe bring your own along if you wish to gain confidence in using it) Make a cute cotton tote bag (or your own project) / have some fun / meet like minded new friends and learn a new skill / craft. Progress to make a simple piece of clothing! What’s available: * Complimentary glass of juice if you wish. * Bring your own machine or if you wish you’re welcome to use mine. * Hand sanitiser/wipes available. * Plenty of space. * Warm room. * Professional teacher. MATERIALS: I supply large selection of threads / pins / needles and rippers! You may wish to bring your own fabric and extras eg. ribbon, lace etc for your individual item (happy to help you choose/source fabrics) Also up-cycling of an old crisp cotton dress or shirt is encouraged.

Beginners welcome, or if experienced to sharpen your game, and for those who are keen can join team preparation for a summer 7-a-side tournament free for members..

Come along to get rid of the number one fear people have. Every week we have new members and people starting from scratch so you will not be alone. Everything is based around what you're comfortable with and you don't have to stand up, talk or do anything if you don't feel like it. But you will have the opportunity to speak at least 4/5 times a night. You can come along to see what we're doing and take part if you like. Make to the most of the bright evenings and join us for a social cycle out to Howth Village. Total distance 25 km. Mostly flat with an optional climb up to the Summit. Here is our plan for the evening. 1️⃣. We leave at 7.00pm from the sails sculpture on Clontarf Road. 2️⃣. Cycle out to Sutton Cross along the coastal cycle path 3️⃣. Here we turn right and cycle directly over Howth Hill 4️⃣ Short stop in the village for a coffee and a chat, then back by shorter route aiming to be back to Clontarf by 9.00pm 🪖PLEASE WEAR A HELMET and bring a tube in case you have a puncture WAIVER & RELEASE: We are a group composed of volunteers. Come join me for a very interesting walk of Lucan House grounds only. Conservation works are being carried out in Lucan House presently, so there is no access to the house and no toilet facilities during this walk. Please wear appropriate footwear Date: 10th of June Meeting: At the main gates of Lucan House Demesne at 10.45am. Walk will take approx 90 minutes. Although the tour is free, I will collect €5 per person before our tour as a donation for the Old Lucan Historical Society of which two of the members, volunteers, will be our guides on the day. You will be able to visit the following: The medieval church in the Demesne. View the stables and dairy of Lucan House. Visit the Bath House ( former medieval chapel) in the grounds See the exterior of Lucan House. See the 'Sarsfield' a monument by James Wright, with no Sarsfield connection.
