**About the Event** An event for the Maryland folks! So much parking!!!!! The Maryland Expansion Pack is a board game/tabletop gaming event for both experienced and casual gamers. Be prepared to meet new people and try new games. **About the Games** This series will focus two types of games -- A hosted "meaty game" for players looking for a more in-depth experience, and a collection of social games. The hosted game is intended for experienced tabletop fans. These games will include titles with rulesets that are a bit more complex, take a bit more time, and are often strategic and competitive. (space may be limited) The Social Games are easy to learn, and play!!! A Starfinder Society Scenario designed for 1st- through 2nd-level characters, playable in 2-3 hours. When a nascent godling called the Newborn was birthed from the planet Aucturn, chunks of its planetary womb and embryonic fluids were cast across the Pact Worlds, showering the nearby planets of Apostae and Bretheda, and careening through open space. Most of this debris—called aucturnite—collected in a haunted ice field at outer rim of the system called the Gelid Edge. For all its dangers, the Gelid Edge is a frontier of new discoveries and forbidden knowledge, and many Newborn evangelists, anomaly hunters, and occult researchers have flocked to the region to learn its secrets. Among them is Dreamlink Laboratories, a research facility that used aucturnite to create a dreamscape purportedly born from the thoughts of the Newborn. Using this dreamscape, Dreamlink Labs has pinpointed the location of a site they believe is important to the Newborn, though they lack the experience to perform an on-site exploration alone. It’s up to the Starfinder Society to escort an enthusiastic scientist from Dreamlink Labs to investigate this “holy” site! **Content note**: This scenario contains themes related to graphic depictions of disease and surreal settings intended to invoke disgust. We've never read Eudora Welty here, so we're going to discuss her best-known work, the Pulitzer Prize-winning "The Optimist's Daughter." This short novel, which began as a story in the New Yorker, is about a woman who travels to New Orleans to take care of her father after surgery. I've been meaning to read Welty for years, so I'm happy we're doing this now.

Join the young adults from Triumph of The Cross (a Maryland-based ecumenical Christian community) for a Bible study complete with good discussion and good food. Drandle Dreng's unmasking as the member of the Decemvirate known as Sapphire has left the Sewer Dragons in a sort of limbo, with one of their strongest political allies largely stripped of influence. Chief Yiddlepode still believes that these agreements with outsiders is the best way to keep the Sewer Dragons strong, but, while that was an easy case to make before their territory was devastated, doubts have arisen among other members of the tribe in the ensuing years. Trapmaster Tok especially has begun to blame the Pathfinder for their misfortune. He has issued a challenge to Yiddlepode for the leadership of the Sewer Dragons, and she has turned again to the Pathfinders. The conflict brewing beneath the streets of Absalom threatens to destabilize the whole city. The PCs need to prove to the beleaguered kobold allies that the best way foward is together.
