Even when you believe you have no artistic talent – this is where you learn the basic visual vocabulary and ingredients for visualisation with the bikablo® technique. For example, drawing simple flipchart templates that you can use in your work the next day!
What’s more, you will have WorkVisible’s Francesco Bianchi as your trainer, to boost your learning in the room! For the first time, WorkVisible are open to the public in Dublin, to provide you with a first class in-person bikablo learning experience. You don't want to miss this!

No matter how small or big your talent or experience, you will learn how to use small details to make large spaces look clear, attractive, and lively. Throughout the day Francesco will take plenty of time to answer your questions and guide you into the world of visual language with guidance and techniques suited to fit your individual progress.
***What does this mean in practice? We'll cover the following topics:***
**Holding the pen and drawing the line:** How do I draw clean lines and structure my space on the flipchart?
**Graphics and text containers:** How do I create simple arrows and connecting elements from basic geometric shapes in order to present related topics? Which text containers (e.g. speech bubbles) can be used to support which kinds of messages? Objects and symbols: How do I draw simple symbols to underline messages? What is essential, what can be left out?
**People:** What easy ways do bikablo® provide to draw people, roles, groups and situations? Colour and space: What are simple and fast options to colour elements and spaces in a quick and simple way that supports the graphic structure?
**Writing:** How do I improve my handwriting on the flipchart to make it more legible and attractive?
**Live scribing:** How can I use easy step-by-step techniques to record a dialogue in real-time and enhance a recorded poster with a key visual?
**Posters and settings:** How do I combine the ingredients (graphics, writing, symbols, figures, and colour) to create to the point visual translations of content and meaningful posters for different purposes (welcome, agenda, instructions, group work)?
***You’ll also receive the gifts below as part of the training:***
**bikablo® Starterset:** Every participant receives the official bikablo StarterSet including four visualisation markers and two StarterBooklets that summarise the principles, content and techniques of the training on 64 pages. So you can start using them as soon as you're back from the training!

**Previous Feedback -** Rishmita Aich
"I loved how inclusive, informative, and open the community was. I've been to professional networking events before, and sometimes they tend to get a bit cliquey (when too many senior execs or startup founders are involved), but I was really glad this wasn't like that at all!"

DDS Talks at Zalando
Dublin Data Science is having an event in Zalando for June. Zalando is one of the top Europe’s leading online fashion platform, connecting 62 million active customers with more than 7,000 brands across 29 markets.
We will have two talks: one from Senior Data Scientist at Zalando, Alex Martinelli, and one from DDS regular Duncan Healy.
**Talk 1:**
**Data Science at Zalando**
and a non-hyped view on how we optimize the use of LLMs for different tasks
In this talk I'll provide an overview of the data-science work happening in Zalando, focusing on core projects built right here in our Dublin office, including product-matching, product-tagging, and Aspect-Based Sentiment Analysis (ABSA) for customer reviews. While the rapid evolution of LLMs has made them powerful tools for these tasks, we adopt and evaluate them carefully. I will discuss our practical, balanced approach to adopting and evaluating LLMs, demonstrating how we integrate them into our existing pipelines to achieve optimal performance while keeping infrastructure costs in check.
Alex Martinelli is a senior data-scientist at Zalando, previously worked for IBM-Watson. Mainly focusing on representation-learning, computer-vision and generative-models.
Additional hobbies and interests include procedural-computer-graphics in Blender, drawing and lucid-dreaming.
**Talk 2:**
**How to Tame the Dragons of Data**
Duncan Healy is a freelancer and DDS regular, he made the mistake of pontificating too often about LLMs and databases and now has to give a talk about it.

OpenClaw: Making it useful
Your OpenClaw is running. It replies. Maybe it's done a few things you've asked it to.
Now make it genuinely useful.

This is the second day in the OpenClaw series. We're going deeper: memory that actually persists across conversations, a knowledge base it can draw on, skills that connect it to the tools you already use, and workflows that handle a whole process end to end. These are the things that turn an interesting agent into something you actually rely on.
Self-directed, table-group format. You work at your own pace, in your own direction, with people around you doing the same.
**What we'll work through together**
* Memory architecture: short-term, long-term, episodic and how to set them up properly
* Knowledge bases: connecting your own docs and notes so the agent can draw on them
* Good skills to add: which integrations are worth the effort (Notion, email, calendar, GitHub)
* Giving access to tools: MCP, APIs, function calling
* Proper workflows: multi-step, conditional, handling a whole process and not just one message
* Sandboxing: running actions safely without breaking things or leaking data
**NOTE: Registration invalid on meetup. Please register on here for a valid ticket: [www.giveago.co/register/openclaw2](https://giveago.co/register/openclaw2)**
You don't need to have come to Event 1. If you have OpenClaw running, you're ready for this.
Bring a laptop. Bring your OpenClaw running.

In-Person Event: The Answers to Depression & Anxiety
This is an in-person meeting. At this meeting you will get answers to depression and anxiety. Find out the source of them and how to get rid of them.
Did you know that unwanted emotions like anxiety, depression, unhappiness, loneliness, hopelessness, anger, fear, or feelings of irritation don’t just fall on you for no reason. They are not random occurrences that simply happen to people's minds. They are definitely not due to a chemical imbalance in your brain from some nebulous chemical reaction "by chance".
Your negative emotions are the symptoms of the painful experiences that you have which are not healed, and which are still affecting you.
The effects of these painful experiences are exacerbated by the pressures or difficulties of the other problems in your life.
Come to our Meetup, where we can introduce you to some of the knowledge, tools and techniques of the breakthroughs in the field of the mind that we can apply to this ever important area of life.
Be sure to click on the red "Attend" button below to come to this local event. We look forward to seeing you there.
This group is created by the Hubbard Dianetics Foundation of Central Ohio and Church of Scientology of Central Ohio.
Walk & Talk About Life's Big Questions
[The Board Walks](http://www.theboardwalks.com/) are for curious people who love deep conversations.
If that sounds like you, **bring a thoughtful topic** and join us for a 5-mile walk (10,000+ steps!).
**HOW IT WORKS**
**Step 1: Bring a topic**
Before you arrive, think of **one** topic you want to explore. A question. A thought that's been on your mind. An obsession you want to geek out on. This is your ticket to the event.
**Step 2: Circle up & share**
We gather in a circle. Your friendly walk host gives a speech to set the tone. Everyone shares: your name, what you're grateful for, and your topic. That's it. 60 seconds.
**Step 3: Walk, talk & float**
We walk 5 miles. You naturally drift into conversation with 2-3 people at a time, pulled by topics that spark your curiosity. When you're ready to move on, just say: "I'm going to float!"
**Step 4: Feel more alive**
Two hours flies by. You're back where you started — but you feel different. More alive. More energized. More connected to yourself and others. That's why regulars join 20+ times.
*For more details, read our [Orientation Guide.](https://www.theboardwalks.com/orientation)*
**HOW TO BRING A GREAT TOPIC**
A great topic = something you're genuinely curious about.
Recent topics include:
* "What are you passionate about right now?"
* "What makes a good friend?"
* "What's a belief you used to hold that you've completely changed?"
* "How do you want to be remembered?"
* "What would you do if money wasn't a factor?"
Think of your topic like the dish you're bringing to our conversational potluck. If everyone brings an A+ dish (i.e. energizing, uplifting, expansive), we'll all walk away feeling lighter and brighter.
**WHAT TO EXPECT**
This isn't a fitness event with casual chitchat. It's a walking think tank where we explore life's big questions together, beyond small talk. *If you're looking for light banter or a standard networking event, this probably isn't the right fit.*
But if you crave depth, genuine connection, and conversations that make you feel alive? You'll love it here.
**FAQ**
* Wear casual athletic attire and sneakers. It's a long walk!
* We have multiple first-timers at each event. We work hard to create a welcoming, inclusive, clique-free space.
* We welcome people of **all** ages, backgrounds, and industries who align with the [intention](https://www.theboardwalks.com/ground-rules) of this space.
* Rain or shine, we've been out here nearly every week since July 2022. If the event is cancelled, we'll let you know.
* Dogs, babies in strollers, parents, and friends are welcome — please text/email them the event link so they can RSVP and prepare a topic!
**LOGISTICS**
* If you'll arrive over 10 minutes late, we suggest skipping the event. It's hard to find us once we start walking, and your host can't answer messages during the event.
* This walk is designed for everyone to *move together at the same steady pace* (about 20 min/mile). This format works best when the whole group moves in unison. If you have mobility limitations, we kindly encourage you to find an event better suited to your needs.
* Read our [Orientation Guide](https://www.theboardwalks.com/orientation) for full details.
* If you enjoy the event, send **[this](http://www.theboardwalks.com/)** to a friend or sign up for our **[newsletter](https://theboardwalks.beehiiv.com/)**. We're in multiple cities with more on the way. 🤠👋
**IF YOU WANT TO GO DEEPER...**
[The Board](https://stan.store/ellebeecher/p/the-board) is the next step: a high-trust collective for renaissance people devoted to creating, connecting, and building lives that light us up.
* This is a global HQ for people who crave big talk, deep connection, and dream collaborations with people across industries. If the walks feel like a spark... The Board is the fire. Apply [here](https://stan.store/ellebeecher/p/the-board).
