Introduction to Argentine Tango
Introduction to Argentine Tango
Argentine tango has nothing to do with the tango you've seen on TV. No dramatic dips. No fixed choreography to memorise. No performance. Real tango is a conversation. Two people, close together, listening to each other through embrace, weight and breath. The leader proposes. The follower responds. The dance emerges from that - improvised, alive, completely in the present moment. It is one of the most direct ways I know to practice both body and mind. In this introductory evening, you'll learn the basic structure of the embrace and a few simple steps. More importantly, you'll begin to feel what tango is actually about: connection. To your own body first, then to another person. You don't need a partner. You don't need dance experience. You need comfortable shoes with a smooth sole and an open mind. I've been dancing tango for years, and I come to it from the same place I come to everything else I teach: the body knows things the mind doesn't. Tango is one of the ways we learn to trust that. Partners are rotated during class so you practice with everyone. If you want to connect, join our WhatsApp Community: https://chat.whatsapp.com/GBNrqkP0AUD4O4XCydmhgM?mode=gi_t Teachers and organisers Sara & Nemanja are competitive dancers and teachers who discovered their love for tango and now want to share it! Students under 28 receive a discount. Contacnt us for any questions! :)

👉 **RSVP now!** Die Plätze sind begrenzt, also melde dich bitte an. Wie immer freuen wir uns sehr auf dich!

Meditation and Connection Circle
Meditation and Connection Circle
Join us for our next circle! **Please reserve your spot via Luma!** https://luma.com/07wcuoir \-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\- Looking for a space to slow down, **meditate, and have thoughtful conversations with new people**? Join me for an evening of shared silence and genuine connection. **No meditation experience needed — just curiosity!** **What to expect** This isn’t a meditation class. It is a space where mindfulness and community meet. Each Circle has three simple parts: **Meditation — Conversation — Connection** • **Meditation:** a short (around 20 min) meditation, where I give minimal guidance and we sit in silence together • **Conversations**: afterwards we create a safe space for conversations that go beyond small talk. We explore how mindfulness can impact different areas of our lives, with a new topic in each circle. You may share or just observe and gain new insights, both are welcome! • **Community:** in the end there will be plenty of time to connect with others in a non-structured format around tea and snacks. Something I've been missing when doing meditation classes elsewhere. To connect with like-minded people! \-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\- **Costs:** To keep these circles sustainable and cover the rental cost, a contribution of **€15** is suggested. If your current circumstances make this a challenge, **€10** is also perfectly fine—no questions asked. \-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\- **Background:** Hi, I’m Katja. I’ve been meditating for over a decade. Why the practice brought tremendous benefits into my life and made me a genuinely happier person, I always felt something was missing: **a non-religious community around it.** A space for people who meditate, or are curious about it, but also crave deep, authentic connections with others. Where we can meditate together and talk about the benefits and challenges that come with the practice. To **turn** **it from a solitary practice into a shared experience.** Come join me, if that resonates with you! \-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\- *For more info, please see www.kinspace.at* **FAQs** * Can I come alone? Absolutely. The purpose of the circle is to make it easy to meet others in a natural and relaxed way. * In what language will the circle be held? The main session will be held in English to keep it inclusive for everyone. During breakout conversations, you’re welcome to speak German or any other language if others in the group share it. * Is this similar to authentic relating? The circle has a simple and accessible structure focused on meditation and meaningful conversation. While it’s not an authentic relating event per se, some people may notice similarities in the way it creates space for presence, openness, and genuine connection. * Do I need meditation experience? Not at all. Beginners are very welcome. I’ll provide simple guidance to help you settle in. * Do I have to speak during the circle? No. Sharing is always optional. You’re welcome to simply listen and observe. We do ask that what is shared in the circle stays in the circle, creating a space of trust. * What should I bring? Just come as you are. Comfortable everyday clothes are perfect. To respect the shared silence, I'd ask that phones are turned off and put away during the circle. * What if I’m running late? To preserve the atmosphere of the circle, we'll start on time. Please try to arrive 5–10 minutes early.
Run+B-fast
Run+B-fast
Hi Running fellows, Whether you’re a walker, new to running, a semi-pro, a marathonist or a sprint star - if you want to start your weekend in an active way and enjoy the outdoors in lovely surroundings with a fun, international and multilingual group of people, you are welcome to join us! Every Saturday at 9:30 am, we meet, we run, in the magnificent Schönbrunn park, and then we go for breakfast. Want to discuss politics or the best recipes for banana pancakes? Not a problem. Not feeling social? Tune out with your earbuds - we can talk over breakfast. We are casual. You can be too. What to expect: Start by meeting Adrian, Ali, Liz, Paul and Sonia on-time at 9:30am outside the Schönbrunn U-Bahn stop (exit Grünbergstraße). (Coordinates: 48.1858130, 16.3200640) From there, we walk to the side park entrance where the “running” part begins. The important thing is that you run at your own pace. Typically, small groups of people will run at the same pace as you, so you never have to walk/run alone :) We finish one hour later, at about 10:40am, reconvening just inside the Hietzinger Tor exit. (Coordinates: 48.1858825, 16.3032647). From there, we’re off to breakfast! Breakfast Details: Anker bakery opposite the U4 Hietzing station and depending on the weather, grab something for a picnic in Schönbrunn park, or hang out in the bakery. If you missed us earlier, you can always go there around 10:45. We are a fun group of runners who don’t take things too seriously. We meet, chat, RUN, stretch, chat, EAT and we hang out over a beer every now and then. It's that easy. Please join us for breakfast after the run! The more the merrier. Typically we are 10-30 people, as not everyone who comes signs up on meetup. Important disclaimer: Please only run as much as you feel you can, considering the temperature, weather conditions, your own fitness etc... run and walk at your own pace as the organizers do not assume any liability for any injuries or health issues. Sonia, Adrian, Ali, Paul and Liz
