Young LGBTQ+ Professionals Drinks
\*\* Please RSVP - this helps the venue plan ahead and ensure enough space is reserved for us \*\*
Hey everyone!
Are you a young professional in your 20s/30s looking to meet other LGBTQ+ young professionals? Then we hope to see you at the upcoming Tuesday drinks! Most people come to these drinks by themselves, and half of the people are first-timers, so these evenings are great to meet new people in London.
We have tables reserved on the top floor (loft) of The Yard bar in Soho. Go into the Yard, turn left, and head upstairs. Just ask the bar for the tables reserved for the "Meetup". We usually have the tables opposite to the bar.
Many have noticed that it can be difficult to meet up with the LGBTQ+ community once you leave university or come to a big new city such as London. For this reason we've decided to start organising drinks for young professionals, intended for those who love to have a drink with like-minded people after a busy day of work. Do spread the word, and bring friends, colleagues and family!
Frequently Asked Questions:
It's my first time and I'm coming alone, should I be nervous?
No, you found the right event! Almost everyone joins these drinks alone and there are always a bunch of first timers. Just grab a drink and say hi to those around the reserved tables and you'll be absolutely fine :)
I cannot make it at 7.00pm, can I come later?
Yes, definitely! There will always be one of the organisers present from 7.00pm onwards, but most people just join whenever they can. There is no official 'start' so to say, and it usually stays busy till around 10pm-11pm. For first timers it can be easier to mingle if you come before 8pm, when it's not that busy yet.
How often are the drinks and where are they held?
We have drinks every two weeks from 7.00pm at The Yard Bar in Soho. Sometimes we organise other events such as big nights out, pub crawls and picnics. Just keep an eye on the Meetup page.
Is there a dress code?
Nope, not at all. Just wear whatever you want.
Is there a cost?
Only for whatever drinks you buy at the bar.
That said, if you enjoy the Meetup, we would really welcome any cash donations to help cover our costs for running the events. However, you will never be directly asked for any money from any of our team.
Are the Tuesday drinks for networking?
No, the drinks are super casual, and not intended to find your new dream job. We have people from all different professional backgrounds, so it's always cool to hear what others are up to.
I don't drink alcohol, can I come?
Of course! Since it's on a Tuesday many take it easy, so you won't be an outlier.
If you have any questions don't hesitate to pop any of our organisers a message. Looking forward to meeting you all!
Xx The young LGBTQ+ professionals team Xx

Family Constellations is an advanced approach to problem-solving that helps you gain clarity, overcome inner conflicts, and make positive changes.
**Family Constellation**
It is a systemic method that explores how problems in our life might be connected to our family relationships, even from past generations. The basic idea is that every group (a family or a business team) is a system where everyone is connected. If the system is unbalanced, for example by excluding a family member or carrying unresolved trauma (like losing a family member in a war), it can affect the whole system and cause problems.
It is based on the principle that there’s a Knowing Field (Energy-Information Field) containing everything – past and present, the collective energy and the family’s emotional history. Though not fully understood and scientifically backed, everyone can experience it. When we connect to this Field, the real dynamics behind your situation become visible.
**Universal Therapy**
It’s a more advanced method combining Family Constellations with Gestalt, Body therapy, Quantum psychology, and Theta healing. The core principle is simple: to solve any problem, find its root. And the root lies in Truth. Sometimes simply seeing the Truth is enough for healing to start.
Like detectives, we find the root. Once found, we work with it and address the issue. The process can be surprisingly efficient because we go straight to the cause rather than spending months discussing symptoms.
**Many people experience meaningful results within 1–2 sessions, but each case depends on the nature of the problem.**
**More information about Family Constellations [https://studioadorio.com](https://studioadorio.com "https://studioadorio.com")**
### **How a Session Works**
\- We sit in a circle\. One person \(the Issue Holder / Client\) presents a challenge\.
\- As an Issue Holder: You get to sit back and look at your problem from the outside through a systemic lens\. Seeing the "map" of your life move in front of you provides instant clarity\.
\- As a Representative: I will ask participants to stand in for people or elements related to that challenge \(e\.g\.\, a father\, a boss\, "Money\," or a "Goal"\)\. Your only job is to notice your body’s signals: a tingling in your hands\, a shift in emotion\, or a sudden thought\. Trust what you feel\. This role is often just as healing as being the client\.
Being a Representative is not mandatory. You are welcome to just watch and absorb the energy of the field.
The process is completely safe. You cannot “take on” anything that doesn’t belong to you. Sometimes an emotional surge appears, but this is always your own energy coming up to heal. The Field shows only what you are ready to face. If you need to process what comes up, lean on your therapist, supervisor, or friends. I am also here if you need to contact me for guidance or follow-up support [https://studioadorio.com/contact](https://studioadorio.com/contact "https://studioadorio.com/contact")
### **Why Is It Useful?**
• It can identify the root causes of problems when other methods fail.
• It offers new perspectives for resolving conflicts or making decisions.
• Healing one person in the system leads to healing the entire system.
**Where?** Shepherd's Bush, Hammersmith & Fulham, London, W12 8BA. The exact location will be sent to your email after booking.
**Cost:** £30 flat fee (covers both representatives and issue holders)
**For whom?** For people over 25 years old. The group is limited to 8 participants.
**Facilitator:**
**Kateryna Goodzenko** – Family Constellations and Universal Therapy Practitioner (Ukraine)
### **Commitment & Self-Care**
\- By signing up for any of my sessions and workshops you agree to co\-create a safe\, inclusive\, respectful and confidential space for everyone in the group
\- Due to the intense emotional nature of constellations\, by joining you agree to take full responsibility for your emotional\, mental\, spiritual and physical well\-being before\, during and after the group\, which also means contacting me if you require assistance\.
**Ready to start?**

If you are experiencing mental illness or psychosis, participation is not recommended. Please do not attend if you are under the influence of recreational drugs or alcohol.
Automating Greener Code: Using AI Agents to optimise software efficiency
There are many resources available for guidance on how to write code that is efficient and results in more sustainable software applications, but applying these at scale can be challenging, and often isn’t a priority for busy teams.
GitHub have recently released Agentic Workflows, a way of specifying automation tasks in human-readable format to be performed by an AI agent as part of a GitHub Actions workflow. In this talk, Max Mizzi from GitHub's Sustainability team gives an overview of Agentic Workflows, and will demonstrate how they can be used to improve software efficiency through both structured green software rules and autonomous performance engineering. He'll finish by walking through a real-world use-case showing how the technology helped to dramatically reduce the energy consumption - and carbon footprint - of a major website.
Come along if you want to learn more about using AI to improve the energy efficiency of your software.
Check out the Green Software Brighton [website](https://greensoftwarebrighton.co.uk/) for links to previous talks.
Arrive from 18:00 for pizza and drinks. Event will start at 18:30. We always head for a drink and a chat locally afterwards too.

Sunday Assembly London Article Club #76
Here is a recap of how the Club works:
1\. We meet every six weeks or so in or near the National Theatre\.
2\. We vote in advance and pick two articles from a short list to read before we meet\. Usually one relates to politics/current affairs and the other to history\, culture or science\.
3\. We talk about each one for around half an hour and the beauty of Article Club is that we can think more deeply about the broader themes of a topic\, and how well the article gets to grips with them\.
4\. We each give a score out of 10 for the articles that have been discussed\.
5\. We set the date for the next Article Club and sometimes adjourn to the pub\.
I will post in the comments a Google form that you can use to vote for the articles you would like to read and discuss at this event.
The point of Article Club is to challenge ourselves to read a diverse range of articles, share them with like-minded people and deal with our anxiety that we aren't reading books. Article Club was set up by Ross Bailey in 2015 who did a fantastic job at running it. Ross was followed by the equally fantastic Claire Ferraro and I (Alistair Baker) have been in the chair for the past seven and a half years.
OUR NEXT MEETUP: ARTICLE CLUB #76
Thursday 21st May 2026 - 7:30pm to around 9:15pm. We sit on the soft round seats in the Lyttelton Theatre bar on the first floor.
DSOLG May 2026 - AI incident response
## Details
Welcome to the DevSecOps London Gathering March Event on Wednesday 20 May. Along with our amazing talks we bring you the usual conversations, pizza and beer!
**Location:**
* 📍 **Venue:** Veracode, 36 Queen Street London, EC4R 1BN
* 📅 **Date**: Wednesday, 20 May 2026
* 🕕 **Time**: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM
## Talk 1 - James Bevan
**Abstract:**
DevSecOps teams scan everything except the system governing their processes: Jira itself. When Jira configuration drifts, controls fail silently - workflows skip security gates, permissions grant unintended access, required fields disappear.
This session demonstrates how configuration drift creates security gaps and shows live detection across workflows, permissions, and automation. With agentic AI now modifying Jira configs, continuous monitoring of your control plane isn't optional.
**Speaker Bio**:
James is co-founder and CRO at Solcoro, building a platform that gives Enterprises and Atlassian Solution Partners real visibility into Jira Cloud environments. Alongside Solcoro, he also runs CROquet - a UK-based GTM consulting business. He takes on a small number of advisory and project engagements, focused on incentive design and revenue architecture. This combination lets him apply GTM theory in practice, both inside a SaaS business and across client environments.
## Talk 2 - Derrisa Tuscano
**Abstract**
The widespread deployment of Generative AI has introduced novel security incidents ranging from prompt injection and data exfiltration to misinformation cascades that traditional incident response frameworks are ill equipped to handle. This talk introduces a Practical Incident Response Framework for Generative AI Systems designed to bridge established cybersecurity standards with emerging AI assurance principles. I will discuss a response centric taxonomy that identifies six recurrent incident archetypes and presents a structured playbook aligned with NIST SP 800 61r3, NIST AI 600 1, MITRE ATLAS, and the OWASP LLM Top 10. Attendees will learn how to reduce the cognitive load on security teams during non deterministic AI failures by using tailored runbooks, RACI matrices, and Swimlane diagrams. Ultimately, the session will demonstrate how organizations can adapt traditional response models to operationalize AI incident response effectively.
**Speaker Bio:**
Derrisa Tuscano is a Cybersecurity postgraduate from the University of Warwick and a published researcher in Generative AI incident response. Her professional background includes leading numerous end to end project life cycles for Applied AI solutions at Quantiphi Analytics Solutions, where she specialized in architecting virtual agents within Google Cloud environments. Derrisa has been recognized with the WMG Excellence Scholarship and the Warwick Award for her commitment to skills development. Her work focuses on bridging the gap between enterprise cloud delivery and robust cyber risk management to ensure secure and compliant AI implementation.

0 to 1 with AI: Real Product Talks
**ProductTank NoVA is back!**
After a brief hiatus, we are relaunching the chapter with a format that cuts out the fluff and gets straight to the reality of building.
Every product feed is flooded with AI hype right now, but what does it actually look like on the ground? Instead of a polished keynote, we are hosting **0 to 1 with AI: Real Product Talks**—a "Show & Tell" featuring 3–4 lightning talks focused on the intersection of AI and product.
The framing for the talks is simple: *"Here is what I'm building, and here is what I'm stuck on."* We want to look at the messy, 0-to-1 reality of integrating AI into your workflows and products.
*(Want to share what you are working on? Reach out! The bar is low-pressure, just 10–12 minutes to talk about a real AI problem you are trying to solve.)*
**Agenda:**
* **5:30 PM - 6:00 PM:** Doors open, networking, & name tags
* **6:00 PM - 6:10 PM:** Welcome + Chapter Relaunch Intro
* **6:10 PM - 7:30 PM:** Lightning Talks (Three 12-min talks + 5 mins Q&A each, with a 5-min stretch break)
* **7:30 PM - 8:00 PM:** Open networking
* **8:00 PM:** Soft close
**Location & Logistics:** Herndon Fortnightly Library (Extended Hours Meeting Room) 768 Center St, Herndon, VA 20170
* **Parking:** We'll meet at the library, located just behind the Herndon Municipal Center. There is plenty of free public parking available around the municipal center.
* **Metro & Bus:** Take the Silver Line to Herndon Metro Station, then connect via Fairfax Connector Route 921 or 950 to Historic Downtown Herndon.
* **Driving (via VA-267/Dulles Toll Rd):** Take Exit 10 North (Centreville Rd, which becomes Elden St). Turn left onto Station St or Lynn St.
* **Driving (via VA-286/Fairfax Co Pkwy):** Take the Elden St West exit. Turn right onto Lynn St.
Looking forward to seeing everyone again and getting back to building!
