Hello everyone! Welcome to the first Agentic AI London meet up. This event has been in the making since summer 2025 however... Running and organising meet up events is almost a full time job! I will explore how AI is expanding who can build, enabling product, operations, marketing and domain experts to create real outcomes. **Martin Schaer \| Solutions Engineer @ SurrealDB** ***Multi-Model RAG with SurrealDB & LangChain*** In the rapidly evolving field of AI, most of the work goes into optimisation – either maximising accuracy or minimising latency. In this talk, Martin will walk through an experiment building a chatbot that answers questions over chat-style conversations, and show where different retrieval strategies shine. He’ll explore when plain vector retrieval is enough, when lightweight graphs start to help, and how to handle tricky aspects like time awareness and evolving context, using LangChain components on top of a multi-model database. The focus will be on practical patterns and trade-offs rather than benchmarks.
