Personality Testing & Consultation
\#\#\#\# Step 1: TAKE THE TEST
The Oxford Capacity Analysis identifies 10 vital personality traits that influence your entire future.
It is a factual, scientific analysis taken from your answers, and it takes about an hour to complete.
\#\#\#\# Step 2: GET YOUR RESULTS
After you complete the test, your personality analysis is generated and displayed. Within minutes your analysis will highlight your strengths and weaknesses—which personality traits to take advantage of and which need help.
\#\#\#\# Step 3: CONSULTATION
While the analysis graph shows distinct personality traits, it is the interrelationship of these traits that provides the greater picture of your personality.
We provide a complimentary consultation with one of our trained staff, who will give a detailed evaluation of your personality analysis.
In this one-on-one consultation, you gain a better understanding of your personality strengths and weaknesses, and establish the recommended path to your fast and lasting success.
Pantheism - The idea that God is Nature, and Nature is God.
We are delighted to welcome guest speaker **François Hallac**, who will give a short talk on **Spinoza’s pantheism**. The talk will provide a starting point for a broader, open discussion of pantheism during the meeting.
Spinoza invites us to rethink everything by identifying God with Nature: a single infinite Substance whose attributes—thought and extension—shape all that exists. Human beings are modes of this vast unity, our minds and bodies expressions of the same divine order. To live well is to actualise our essence through understanding our desires, for joy is the fruit of clarity.
Like Descartes, Spinoza seeks clear and distinct ideas, yet he rejects dualism and embraces determinism: nothing is contingent, only misunderstood. Freedom arises when reason aligns us with Nature itself. In this union, the philosopher discovers genuine happiness and a profound sense of belonging to the whole.
No prior expertise is required—curiosity and a willingness to think together are enough.
Early bird tickets at £3 will be available until Mon March 9

**NB:** The event begins at 7pm, doors open at 6:50pm. Event ends at 9pm

Conundrum Corner - Your Dilemmas Discussed..
*this event is advertised elsewhere so there will be more people coming than stated*
**✨ Welcome to Conundrum Corner at The Union Jack pub, Southwark! ✨**
Step inside and join a gathering *of* open minds and kind hearts. Whether you bring a conundrum of your own that you are experiencing or simply your listening ear, you’ll find a welcoming space to share, reflect, and explore life’s tricky questions together.
🌿 **What to expect:**
* You’re invited to share a conundrum, dilemma or question that you yourself are experiencing.
* We’ll vote on three intriguing ones to explore more deeply.
* With a few extra details in hand, we’ll break into small groups for thoughtful discussion.
* Then, we’ll come together as one big group to share insights, perspectives, and perhaps even some fresh solutions.
The atmosphere is **analytical yet empathetic, thoughtful yet light-hearted**, and always non-judgmental. Whether your conundrum is personal, professional, or just a head-scratcher, we’re here to help unravel it together.
💸 There’s no set fee to attend, but we do ask for donations on the night to cover costs - which are warmly appreciated!
🍷 Please also support our lovely hosts, Jade and co., by buying yourself a drink at the bar (and food’s available if you fancy a bite).
💡 **What’s a conundrum, you ask?**
A conundrum is any dilemma, crossroads, or confusion in your life—big or small. It could be a **"chicken and egg"** situation, a **"catch-22"**, or a **"have your cake and eat it"** kind of puzzle. Sometimes, life just throws us complex, messy questions—and that’s what we’re here to navigate together.
Once our deep discussions wind down, we’ll slip into **pub mode**—a chance to relax, connect, and continue chatting with newfound friends.
**🛡️ Code of Conduct - *please note***
Conundrum Corner is committed to providing a safe and respectful environment for all attendees. Any abuse, harassment, or inappropriate behaviour towards other attendees, whether during the event or in any contact related to the event afterwards, will result in permanent removal from the Meetup group and exclusion from future events.
Come along for an evening of intriguing conversations, fresh perspectives, and a touch of serendipity. Looking forward to seeing you there!

INFJ Hangout (late March)
Join us for our chilled Sunday afternoon Meetup, for connection and sanctuary amongst others who get you.
We'll be meeting in a super chilled bar in the BFI cinema which has lounge chairs and is usually not busy at this time. NB. It's not the bar on the riverfront - see the directions below and photo.
We don't have a theme for this Meetup but please bring any topics you'd like to discuss and we'll also have the conversation cards with us.
Please note you don't have to be well-versed on Myers-Briggs Type Indicator to attend; we are merely looking to build a community of like-minded people for fun, support and connection.
There are always some people who don't come on the day, so if you're top of the waitlist, it's very likely you'll be bumped up, so please come anyway and equally if you would really like to come, please do. We're not going to turn you away! If there's a lot of attendees, we'll split into 2 groups.

COUNT monthly event: Kitchen service at Van Buren Center's shelter
Come assist Van Buren Shelter (https://ymcacolumbus.org/locations/vanburen) staff in serving dinners and cleaning up on the 3rd Tuesday of each month. Dinner for the women is 5-6 pm and for the families is 6:15-7:15 pm. There is ample free parking available in the shelter's lot. The recommended area to park is in green in the image above.
There will be a new entrance for the time being. We are asking all volunteers to enter through the Donation Dock door, the orange mark on the image above. This door is located between the Single Adults and Family Shelter. You will see 2 large garage doors with a large green trash compactor in the center. Please head to the closest garage door to the building wall, with a ramp leading up. There, you will see a door with a sign stating instructions on how to enter the building. Please ring the doorbell, and a staff member will come and escort you into the building. If a staff member takes longer than 5 minutes, please call the front desk at 614-689-2020. This is a new process for us, and we do not want to keep you waiting! We appreciate your patience as we navigate this temporary change.
The shelter needs a volunteer count the day before the event so sign-up ends Monday at 4:50 PM. Afterwards some of us go to the Omnipresent Atheists Weekly Meetup in progress to have a bit to eat or drink (http://www.meetup.com/omnipresentatheists/).
Volunteers must be 14 or older. Since we will be working around families, the YMCA does not permit volunteering by individuals with convictions for violent or sexual crimes. The YMCA reserves the right to run background checks on volunteers.
For questions, comment on this page or contact: Andrew, awhit12@yahoo.com, (614)937-5802 (cell). Please let Andrew know if you volunteer anytime other than our COUNT events so that he can count your hours toward our service record.
Using Philosophy to Cope with Current Events
So this month's prompt is more general. I think we can all agree that we are living in "unique" times that require coping skills. I think that one role and/or purpose of philosophy is to help us deal with our daily lives and our "unique" times. So, let's share our feelings and thoughts about which philosopher/philosophy we turn to in order to deal with our crazy events. Who/what helps you stay focused in your daily life and helps you sleep at night. I find that Stoicism with a little philosophical pessimism mixed in goes a long way in helping me deal with what I see as very destructive, fearful and mean spirited public policies at both the state and federal levels. Hope to see you on March 28th!
