His 1784 essay *Beantwortung der Frage: Was ist Aufklärung?* is short — a few pages — but precise in a way that rewards slow, careful reading. For this session, we do exactly that: read the text together, paragraph by paragraph, in the tradition of a philosophy seminar. What does Kant mean by *Unmündigkeit* — the self-incurred immaturity he sees all around him? Where does he draw the line between the public and private use of reason, and does that distinction hold? Welcome cold lovers! We have been practising cold water plunges for over 4 years. We believe in the benefits of cold water exposure. The feeling you get after the swim is magnificent, it makes you feel alive. We have started this group to safely experience the cold water together. We motivate each other, do active warmup exercises, and also share our life stories with a warm coffee/tea afterwards. The event is every Sunday at 11:30, we meet no matter the weather. Take along: a large towel, comfortable bathing suit, flip-flops, and warm clothes (hat, gloves, etc). If you’re planning swimming out take along a bright swim buoy. The event is Free. IMPORTANT: Every participant takes responsibility for themselves when attending this event.
